• Andy (9/5): Home from home - just beware several flights of steps and no lift - Peaceful location to use as a base to explore the Black Forest. Good view across to old town Gernsbach. Easy to find, good parking, accessible to supermarket. Spacious and comfortable flat, nicely furnished and equipped. Unfortunately the heating / hot water was not working when we arrived but this was fixed the next day. To compensate for the inconvenience we were allowed to wash and dry clothes at no cost. Facilities were available in the basement of the block of flats. We were not aware that we would be charged to use these facilities until check in details were confirmed to us.
