• Kate (9/5): Freshly renovated B&B with kitchen in an ugly building - The B&B was clean and looked freshly renovated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to cook breakfast/dinner at home. The support from host via Whatsapp was also very helpful and kind. The appartment has roller blinds providing extra security and noise control. The bathroom looked very clean too. There’s a free parking area next to the building and you can also park inside the building gate for €5/night if you don’t find a free slot. As an added bonus: you can pay the tourist tax via link, which i find super convenient. The B&B is located in the outskirts of beautiful Messina in a very old building in need of renovation, on the first floor. So no nice view from the advertising and the building entrance feels a bit scary tbh. A pity such a good property is located in a such an unfortunate building. The hairdryer should be upgraded. It was the inbuilt hairdryer: not strong and only with cold air.

Completa autonomia. Attenzione dell'host dalla prenotazione alla partenza. Le camere si trovano all'interno di una proprietà condominiale che meriterebbe una sistemata, ma questo ovviamente non dipende dall'host.

• Gabriel (10/5): A very good stay - We had everything that we needed and was very clean. The bed is big and comfortable. Allessandro was very helpful and replied fast for any question that we had, even about the road taxes in Sicily, where I struggled at. The neighborhood is quiet. The kitchen is on the same level but in other apartment and it is well equipped. Historical center can be reached with the personal car in approx 10-15 min. I highly recommend. Free parking spots can be found very easy next to the facility. The security code system is a great idea but can be tricky sometimes due to fact that must be used for 5 doors. Can be heard easily the sound from the other neighbours but we had luck, it was quiet.
