Kæmpe oplevelse Intet, alt var godt

- Catherine (9/5): Nice property with very nice staff - The service was excellent. We stayed for 2 nights. The dinner and breakfast on the second night were different and seemed to be a little better than the first night.
- Chiana (10/5): We had the most wonderful time and hope to be back someday. - Everything! Everything was so clean and beautiful and it was so relaxing. Tasuku Meguro really went out of his way for us and made our stay even more memorable. We will miss him! Nothing!

- Neil (10/5): We loved this ryokan, it is worthy of its high rating, without question! - The staff were amazing and plentiful. It is a very peaceful place to relax.
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Henry (10/5): - everything exceeds my expectations guests cannot use the onsen after checking out

- Sara (10/5): The experience was beautiful. I recommend this hotel - The hospitality of the staff, they are so nice and welcoming.
- Aranya (10/5): -
- HUI YIN (9/5):
- Matjaž Domen (10/5): A pearl in the hills of Shiroishi - The staff were incredibly accommodating, their care and attention made our visit relaxed and joyful, the Kaiseki was excellent and well balanced, showcasing local delicacies and providing an excellent view into tradition. Being able to use the Onsen with a tattoo and not having to cover it up was a pleasant surprise, the Onsen was excellent and very clean (I only used the outside pool). We were picked up by their free shuttle bus at the Shinkansen station and dropped off as well. We have to thank all of the staff, but a special mention should be given to Meguro, who took great care of us.
- Alan FiExhaust (10/5): - Foods are really nice, room are very clean. very nice place and very nice service non
- Alan FiExhaust (10/5): - Evertyhing is good Service is good but can be even better.
- Gary (10/5): -
- June3g (8/5): Very good - The beer was delicious
- Douglas (9/5): This was one of the dwindling number of the remaining traditional.traditional ryokans in Japan which made this hotel sp - Authentic Japanese ryokan; traditional decor, building, and excellent service. There also was Shamisen entertainment in one of the evenings. There was no advance notice at all to incoming hotel guests of the times and locations of the hotel’s shuttle pick up and drop offs at the train stations. This made it very difficult for incoming guests to plan their transportation arrangements to travel to the hotel and ensure that they will be able to benefit from the free hotel shuttle service.
- Nomouze. (7/5): Good -
- Stella (9/5): Warm hositality - Warm welcome by staff, friendly and helpful, speak good English.
The meals (dinner & breakfast) were excellent, delicious, plate design like arts! Onsens are a little small but the staff explained that's the limitation from hot springs source.
- Delia (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are really kind!
- Pei-chi (10/5): Pleasant stay at a traditional Japanese hotel friendly to foreign travelers - The entire experience was extraordinary. We were greeted with welcome drinks in front of a fire, and led to our room by courteous but hospitable staff. Our 3-person room faced a quiet garden, and we enjoyed delicious cake and tea before being led to the dinner. There was a pair of yukata and a pair of more modern pajamas in the room, along with a warm jacket and a pair of socks for each person. There was a toilet in our entrance hall, and a sink and mirror in the room.
Dinner and breakfast were both served in an independent Japanese room located in the older building, and our server conversed with us in fluent Mandarin and English. We loved the exquisitely made Japanese dinner and breakfast, every single small dish and platter of it!
The two hotsprings were also delightfully pleasant. The indoors medicinal bath was small but very clean, while the outdoor bath was much more spacious. For some reason, we did not meet many people using the bath either in the evening or the morning.
We opted for a shuttle bus to leave the hotel in the morning. The hotel was very helpful with answering questions and reserving shuttle service through the booking.com chat room in English.
We were extremely happy with our stay, and hope to stay longer next time. We were given the option to have breakfast at 8:30 or 9:00, with our shuttle leaving at 9:50. This made for somewhat of a rush. If we could visit again, we would try to give ourselves at least 90 mins between breakfast and checking out.
- Mafodda (10/5): Exceptional - It was absolutely exceptional, from the food, to the staff, to the service and hot springs, everything was simply immaculate. You cannot get any better than this.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maaike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Where to begin? The room was excellent in size and had a nice feeling to it. The onsen was close by.
The staff was so kind and service minded. The whole experience with dinner and breakfast was exceptional, especially the staff member whom served us with excellent English.
Just the whole experience was quite wonderful. I have nothing negative to say.
- Robin (8/5): Very good - Good service Timeschedule.
- Gerald (9/5): A unique one-time experience, but realistically, we know we'll never be back - Amazing and authentic Japanese breakfast, artfully presented and quite tasty. The dinner the previous evening was equally superb. An odd smell in the room, it may have been the ozone machine?
- Ym (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent hospitality and amazing dinner and breakfast, you cannot be disappointed None
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful experience in a traditional inn. Such a unique stay with welcoming staff, delicious food, serene setting, and open air bath. Nothing. It was perfect.
- Stella (10/5): The staff and food were above and beyond here! Everyone was extremely nice and attentive. - It was in a traditional Japanese interior and architectural style and very well kept with the old building still in use and preserved at 600 years old, the history is very interesting. Nothing :)
- Yurika (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location and very clean rooms. The staff were well trained and were very friendly. The food was also exceptional. Nothing. Everything was just perfect.
- Hoffman (10/5): Overall, we love this hotel. We would love to come back to stay. - Dinner and breakfast were gorgeous! Any tableware you see there was also sold at the shop, so you can own it too! And staff would make sure your stay was pleasant. There are a few English-speaking staff, to explain anything and help you with anything. They offer amazing service! We wanted to take pictures of the old-fashioned hotel building at night, but they turned the lights off early, so we couldn't, and there wasn't any sign about it.
- Paweena (10/5): Great place to stay and spoil yourself in a 600 year old ryokan. - The hotel itself is really nice.
Staffs were great. They have good English speaking staffs for foreigners.
Our room was nice and clean. Most likely recently renovated.
We booked half-board and enjoyed dinner and breakfast in a private room, in the old building.
Onsen was also nice. Nothing.
- Hw (10/5): Great experience! Staff were friendly and had character. - They cleaned my shoes! Unexpected but welcoming. The room was a little stuffy, but I couldn’t open the window or else the bugs would come in.
- Walter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Francesca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexander (9/5): Excellent meals, good water (a bit hot) - The indoor and outdoor baths are different and nicely mineralized, the setting of outdoor baths, overlooking a brook, is also very nice. The baths are a bit too hot to enjoy for a long time (even the outside bath in February). The dinner and breakfast are truly excellent and have a light feel to them, the local welcome flan is also sublime. The meals are served in a beautiful historic building several hundred years old. The area is quiet and nice to walk around. The rooms are newly built and the air gets a bit stale if aircon / heating is off.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Staff, food -
- Keltona (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly and helpful staff, feels very cozy. Check in process is very personal. Can be a bit cold in the winter
- Yuzhan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (9/5): Pampering stay in a lovely heritage property with Modern Amenities! Love it. - We love the history and exclusivity of the property. Gorgeous heritage here. One of the best meals we had during our trip is at this lovely stay. Staffs speak good English and are very attentive to us! parking is off hotel site, understandable given the location and old winding roads there. They have dedicated transport to send us up and down to property. so not exactly a negative.
