• Teodoras (1/5): Very disappointing. - Location was great. Unclean, dust bunnies under the chair. Smelly, smells like mixture of smoke, mold and something else. Washroom sink was plugged. There was no any kind of soap shampoo or body wash. Beds were noisy and bugs were crawling on me during the night. I managed to kill one when I woke up felling that something is crawling on me. For the same price I had an excellent hotel in Vienna. This hotel should not be charging more than 30 Euros, since it is a place to spend a night if you are in some kind of trouble, not on vacation.

• Sally (1/5): Not really a pleasant stay. Don't recommend this place for tourists. - The breakfast was really nice. The room was tiny with really small bunk beds. and you can feel damp in the beds. The room had a damp smell too. The old lady who was one of the staff was very rude. She really didn't like me talking English with her.
• Klaas (1/5): Definitiv NICHT zu empfehlen!!! - Frühstück war grundsätzlich solide. Direkt unter unserem Zimmer wurde ab Ankunft am Nachmittag bis nach 22 Uhr durch ein Orchester (in Form einer Klassenfahrt o.ä.) lautstark mit Instrumenten gespielt. Selbst der Boden vibrierte! Ab kurz nach 22 Uhr folgte lautes Trampeln in den Zimmern über und neben uns, auf den Fluren und laute Musik von unten. Das Ganze begann dann wieder ab ca. 8 Uhr morgens. (Orchester ab ca. 9:30 Uhr) Darüber hinaus war das Zimmer dreckig, Haare im Bad, auf dem Boden, im Bett. Abgeschnittene Fußnägel in den Nachtischen und Lebensmittelreste (Apfel) unter den Betten. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir beim Frühstück anscheinend zu viel gegessen (p.P. 2 Brötchen). Die Wirtin ermahnte uns nämlich, nicht so viel vom Buffet zu nehmen und auch alles aufzuessen. Daraufhin wurden wir noch gefragt, ob wir denn einen Bandwurm hätten. (Weil wir so ‚viel' essen????) Ingesamt war diese Unterkunft einfach nur furchtbar und hat eigentlich keinen Cent verdient.
• Kateřina (7/5): - Skvělá lokalita, 4 minuty autem na parkoviště ke Gosausee. Skvělá snídaně - klasika švédský stůl. Milý personál. Pokoje by potřebovaly projít renovací, vybavení nic moc, ale na jednu noc skvěle postačí. Vadilo mi, že nebylo k dispozici ani mýdlo na ruce.

• Maria (2/5): Would never return - The only thing we liked was the breakfast. It was fresh, tasty, wide selection. The building itself is so old and rundown, visibly haven't seen renovation for several decades. Floor and stairs are creaking, bad smell in common areas, it's like a haunted place. Room walls are stained. Furnishing damaged. Black mould everywhere in the bathroom, broken sink, dirty. Not even a single small soap to wash your hands. We spent there only one night and paid more than 250 EUR for this terrible overnight.

• Jewel (3/5): Not a family place to stay - Location is far from the main Hallstatt but accessible. Food was good in taste. Quite and nice view. Close to the mountain. Few disappointment points 1. Some of the staffs were very rude. Ordered dinner and waited for more than 35 minutes and the whole time no stuff/waiter came to see us. When I asked about the delay, the stuffs were not happy. 2. Dog was barking on the corridor at the evening, my son was very scared. 3. Breakfast was not ideal. Had not many options. 4. The stairs and room carpet was very dirty and smelly.

• Newiaková Zdeňka (8/5): - Opravená koupelna, super snídaně (teplá sekaná se sýrem byla favorit), absolutně perfektní lokalita - pěšky dochozí Gosausee. Minimalisticky zařízený pokoj na krátkodobý pobyt nebo pouhé přespání mezi výlety satčí. Parkování před hotelem. Snídaně se podávají ve vedlejší budově přes (frekventovanou) silnici. Recepce je tamtéž. V odpadkovém koši nebyl sáček. V koupelně chybělo mýdlo na ruce. V 8:20 nám v den odjezdu klepala zaměstnankyně na dveře pokoje (teprve jsme se chystaly na snídani), že přý jde uklízet...když jsem jí řekla, že je checkout v 10:00, ani se neomluvila a s pokrčením ramen odešla. Čas checkoutu jsme samozřejmě dodržely.

• Stéphane (6/5): Logement spartiate qui fait l’affaire pour 1 nuit seulement en famille - L’emplacement est correct pour être situé à proximité du village de Halstatt et parfait si on souhaite randonner. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux. La chambre est vraiment sommaire et étroite pour une famille de 4 personnes : 2 x 2 lits superposés, 1 table de nuit, 1 armoire de rangement + 1 salle de bain et WC.

• Karla (8/5): Goed hotel op toplocatie. Zorg dat je in het hoofdgebouwzit - Het hoofdgebouw was prima met restaurant en sauna. Kamer was proper en het was er heerlijk stil. Wij zaten in het bijgebouw, aangeduid als jeugdherberg. Dit was wat aftands met een slechtriekende inkomhal. Ik vond het te duur voor wat het was.

• Anna (2/5): Ich möchte eine Erstattung des Preises haben, das habe ich heute Morgen auch schon in der Rezeption - Frühstück Semmeln, wenig Aufschnitt, Cornflakes, Schokoflocken und immer wieder alles nicht vorrätig Ich bin schwanger und konnte auf den Betten kaum liegen. Es war wie ein Feldbett mit harter Unterlage, die Matratzen völlig durch gelegen. Ein Foto davon habe ich gemacht.

We stayed in the hostel, so everything was as expected. Everything was clean, staff was super helpful and we got even some extra services for free. Without a car, it's difficult to go somewhere. The ski bus will bring you to the ski lift, but taxis are rare, so it's difficult to leave in the evening without a car.
• Hans (4/5): Tolle Gegend - das „Gästehaus“ allerdings kann nicht empfohlen werden. - Die Lage Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer roch nach Schimmel…. Wir erwarteten eine einfache Unterkunft - der dann vorgefundene niedrige Standard war jedoch überraschend. Schockierend war der gammelige-schimmelige Geruch im Zimmer, gegen den auch intensives Lüften nichts ausrichten konnte.

• Ira (2/5): "EXTREM SCHLECHT und ANTIHYGIENISCH". - "EXTREM SCHLECHT und ANTIHYGIENISCH". Wir haben im Jugendgästehaus ein Zimmer für fünf Frauen für 2 Nächte gebucht. Einfache Ausstattung haben wir schon erwartet. Aber das Fehlen von Seife bzw. Seifenspender im Toilettenraum finde ich absolutes NO GO! Es waren Spinnen im Zimmer. Es war sehr laut, da die Fenster direkt an die befahrene Strasse schauen. Für Fünf Leute nur zwei Stühle und ganz kleiner Tisch. Matratzen sind sehr hart, Kissen sind so alt und platt wie einfach keine Kissen = NULL Komfort und total altes abgenutztes Möbel. Zimmer für 6 Leute war ausgestattet NUR mit 2 Steckdosen. Wir mussten nachts aufstehen, damit wir unsere alle Geräte für den Tag betriebsbereit machen konnten. Nie wieder!!!
• PILAR (4/5): - Lo mejor del alojamiento, el desayuno, variado, en una terraza acristalada acogedora. Los colchones cómodos, pero no las almohadas. El baño limpio. El entorno precioso Solo había toallas de ducha de pésima calidad. No toallas de lavabo. Las almohadas no se pueden llamar como tal, incomodísimas, apelmazadas, relleno prensado, algunas con rotos. Edredones con manchas. Aviejado. Solo había un enchufe en la habitación (que es para seis personas) y el de la televisión estaba libre porque no había TV. Para ir a desayunar había que salir del edificio y cruzar la carretera para entrar en el edificio del desayuno. Lo anuncian como albergue juvenil, y efectivamente, tiene habitaciones con literas donde se pueden alojar grupos, pero no tiene sala de comedor común o cocina, office, que es lo normal en los albergues. No había ningún cartel de conexión wifi ni el personal nos lo facilitó.
