Guest Reviews

- Ian (8/5): - A quiet, pleasant and clean property in a good district, at a fair price. The only difficulty was that Booking.com did not send information about how to access the property until after my stay ended. The online advance checking in facility did not work at all. However the host worked quickly and effectively to sort the problem out.

- Hobson (6/5): Good value for money, good location very clean rooms nice TV and Wi-Fi - There was a bit of a weight, but once I rang the guy he told me where the keys were and his instructions were good so okay I didn't realise that ringing the doorbell wouldn't have opened the front door. I think I was expecting the little house someone living in it and it wasn't like that probably my fault. I should've read the whole description.
- Barnes (10/5): would recommend and use again -

- lee (10/5): I needed somewhere to sleep for 6 hours before a long drive. It was warm and an amazingly comfortable bed. Perfect for w - Easy access with an accommodating host Nothing
- Mark (8/5): -
- Jake (10/5): - Modern, really comfortable bed, warm and exceptionally clean. Host was responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. No lock on the bathroom door
- Emma (10/5): Fantastic host - Helped us out last minute, for which I am very grateful.lovely place to stay, definitely recommend Nothing not to like
- George (9/5): - It was very clean and tidy. The price was good and the host was very pleasant and genuine.
- Rebecca (1/5): Drunk owner caused a lot of noise/ horrible atmosphere to try and sleep or feel safe in - The owner came in extremely drunk one night with a friend, shouting at each other until 2am. We would not recommend this accommodation as it didn't feel particularly safe and no one got any sleep due to the noise of the drunk landlord who lives there too.
- REY (8/5): A good, clean place to stay for one night. - Very clean and tidy with good facilities The room was small but satisfactory.
- Störm (1/5): Bad - Nothing whatsoever. Horrific 1) rude, 2) left me standing in train for 2 hours in middle of the night Inhumane owner. I arrived at the time agreed. The key code didn't work. I messaged and made at least 7 calls, finally someone answered and I was then told they would call back shortly. They didn't. Called again and realised I could hear the phone ringing inside the house! I banged. They eventually answered. The person, Jeremy, said they were the owner. They knew about my booking. They still wouldn't let me in. They gave me key code that didn't work. Eventually one worked but the lock box was empty. After almost 2 hours in the rain, with no car, no transport and nowhere to go, by 2am I was furious. I demanded they let me in or I call police. They showed me to a room, and refused to give me a lock for the door. My night and next day was ruined. I've received not even an apology.
- Ed (7/5): Just what was needed! -
- Julie (2/5): Get confirmation & entry code before arriving at property - Not applicable see my “didn’t like” comments. We booked & paid for 2 rooms and arrived 7pm on a Bank Holiday Sunday, I had my elderly mother & her partner with me. Unfortunately there was no key and no contact. We messaged owner 4 times & waited 30 minutes. We then had to drive an hour to find another place to stay. The owner contacted me 15 hours later and apologised. I did get my refund quickly which was fantastic. I’m sure it so up’s be a good stay but would just say make sure you get the key box code before driving there.
- A (9/5): Superb -
- Marcellus (10/5): Exceptional - Didn't know it was a air b and b but OK for the bike show Nothing
- Fariborz (8/5): Very good - Where very clean and organised It is only room and bath. You do not have access to kitchen or and cooking facilities.
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant - The owner didn’t send information about how to access the key safe before my arrival. He didn’t answer the phone when I repeatedly tried to phone him, eventually getting back to me after half an hour. Reading the description I believed there were kitchen facilities available so I went prepared for the week. Alas, there were no facilities apart from a kettle in the room – very disappointing, and when you are working away from home, frustrating.
- Tomasz (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Superb - Clean and convenient for our purposes with work. Jeremy was very helpful.
- Arthur (9/5): Superb -
- Mateusz (8/5): Very good -

- Chinmaya (7/5): Good -
- Jayavanth (5/5): Okay for short term - Close to town Congested, common bathroom
- Layla (9/5): Superb -
- Alan (5/5): This was an emergency booking as another booking was cancelled very last minute, it kept us dry. - No breakfast or cooking facilities at the property When we arrived the combination on the key boxes did not work. We had to wait for the owner to return and allow access. We went to a local pub for food while we waited thankfully.
- John (1/5): Would not stay again - Was in good location for our needs The sounds, washing machines, dryer or suchlike late at night plus 5am ish
- Dimityr (7/5): Good -
- Hadi (8/5): Very good -
- Antony (3/5): Functionable but definitely bad value for money and wouldn’t stay again - It occupied a good position The lack of facilities and the size of the room and it felt just wrong
- Colin (10/5): Midway - a comfortable stay! - Midway was a great place to stay! The room was clean, fresh, and very comfortable. I appreciated the powerful shower in the shared bathroom, which was always clean and tidy. The location was perfect for me as it was only a short drive to work. While I was working nights and sleeping during a heatwave, the room itself was lovely and cool. Overall, a very pleasant stay and Jeremy the owner was friendly and approachable. I wouldn't change anything. Jeremy said he had some portable fans on order for the rooms which will have arrived by now, so the rooms will be even cooler.
- Vicki (8/5): Did the job as only one night. - There was no breakfast but i did not expect any so all good!
Walls were paper thin so I heard all the couple's conversation next door - luckily I had ear plugs and they went to bed at 11pm! I would have liked a bin in the bathroom and a small lamp at the side of the bed - but I'm just being picky.
- Martin (1/5): Bad -
- Pusa (10/5): Exceptional - Everything The bed
The room was not the same as in the photo.
- Pusa (9/5): Superb - Everything
- Alex (9/5): cosy , comfortable and lovely host. - host was lovely and extremely helpful , made us coffee when we woke up and had a nice chat out in the garden area. stay was suitable enough as was just on a business trip so just stayed over night . he sent photos of the key code boxes and wifi passwords before we even arrived so that was a lovely touch. confusion over whether we had the whole house or just rooms but was all cleared up straight away by jeremy the property owner.
