Guest Reviews
- Philip (10/5): Great property and location - will return - Very well equipped and comfortable
- F_Wilsher (10/5): A well located little gem! The surrounding grounds are stunning and there are plenty of local walks! - Tea and coffee facilities provided, along with a wee welcome basket of wine and cookies, most welcome! A good TV and lounge area, including use of an outside patio and dining area. Shower has good pressure and the ability to use a washing machine during our stay was great. I can't understand previous low ratings for cleanliness as we found the space to be spotless! The bed was small and the mattress was uncomfortable. The firmness was about right for us, but we could feel springs when we moved, maybe time for a new mattress. The pillows could also do with being replaced, but in all fairness we bought our own (We are pillow snobs!).
- Richard (10/5): Most enjoyable. The grounds were beautiful. - No breakfast but milk, teabags, coffee and biscuits were provided. We especially liked the air conditioning as it was exceptionally hot at the time. It was ok for us but I think it would have been difficult for disabled people especially if it was wet because of the access.
- Dawn (7/5): Short only stayed two nights left early - It was clean and the gardens where beautiful The bed was too soft and small also we had a 9 month old puppy with us and there was no enclosed place to let her off the lead also going up and down the stairs was a bit of a pain ok if you have an older dog that won’t run off
- Cathy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hilary (6/5): Comfortable with what you need - The layout The stairs to access, very slippery when frosty
- Antony (9/5): We really enjoyed our stay…a stunning property and location, and friendly owners. - Location, building & grounds, parking, cleanliness, ease, owners. The bed, bedding, cushions, towels etc, although spotlessly clean, did not quite match the extremely high quality of the property and its surroundings…which was a shame.
- Richard (8/5): Very good -
- Ruben (9/5): Relaxing stay - Location is amazing and beautiful. Also very relaxing great place to go to for a weekend and forget about busy city life. Owner is extremely friendly.

- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Katie (10/5): A relaxing place to be - Lovely location and it had everything I needed. Nothing
- Ian (8/5): Overall a very pleasant stay. - The location, cleanliness of accommodation, and the friendliness of our host's. Having Netflix and the waterfall shower. Mattress was a little uncomfortable and low for me. Could mot use the hairdryer infront of the mirror as the cable was too short.
- Judith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bond (10/5): as above very relaxing - location is in the countryside, peaceful, restful with easy access to local area plenty of sights to see including Eastbourne, Hastings we forgot to take wellies due to time of year March 23 very wet lots of rain
- Ray (10/5): Exceptional -
