Guest Reviews
- DJ (8/5): Relaxed andcrecharged - The interior of the apartment was tastefully decorated and spotless. It provided all the conveniences from home and the mini cereals, milk and Jammy Dodgers were a welcome touch.
If you like cafetière coffee do take a bag of coffee with you as there is a Cafetiere available.
The lounge has a seaview. The main bedroom is spacious with a comfortable bed and a stand alone wardrobe. The second bedroom was much smaller but did fit two single beds head to toe in it and a small chest of drawers.
A nice big bath and shower over the bath. Towels and some small bottles of body wash and shampoo combo were available.
Great location to explore the area from.
We only went for a weekend break and had dinner on the Friday at the Jolly Inn - the large fish portion was HUGE.. but really tasty. I would definitely recommend a medium instead.
We were really looking forward to havinh a meal at Dimetrious (which was highly recommended by another reviewer however they are closed until Easter).
We had our Saturday dinner at the Coach House and the food was out of this world... we both had a Greek dish for main, a mezzè starter and a Bougatsa with figs as a pudding (DELICIOUS!!).
I would recommend a trip to Dungeness on the steam train, a visit to the old Lighthouse... if you enjoy history go and visit the Sound Mirrors near New Romney. The Historical churches around the Marsh area .... a visit to Rye etc. None of the following points are a problem... I was just not prepared enough.. Read past it though as I still maintain that we had a wonderful stay in a gorgeous apartment ...
The front of the building did not look like the photos it was more dated but the interior made up for it.
Please note if you have mobility issues - there are a number of stairs to climb - outside = metal stairs to get to the entrance of the complex and then (inside) a number of stairs to get to the apartment door.
- Allan (9/5): Very quiet and relaxing - n/a Large fierce looking dog was loose in the back garden.
- Alison (9/5): Very enjoyable - Views from lounge over Romney Bay stunning, very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds Took us 24 hrs to find the thermostat!
- Rachael (10/5): Comfortable stay with a stunning seaside view - Location was perfect, the view is exceptional, well stocked with little extra touches. Spotlessly clean and bright and airy. There was nothing to dislike about this property.
- René (9/5): -
- Zammit (10/5): - Fantastic location lovely views.
Well equipped kitchen. Just wanted a few quiet days away from the hassle of life. Demitrios greek restaurant near by was lovely. Also Italian in town called Ruzo. Quite a few stairs up to the apartment but worth it for the views
- Boris (10/5): Exceptional -

- Helen (10/5): Amazing apartment with beautiful views along the coast. - Amazing apartment with beautiful views along the coast. Only half hour from channel tunnel but a lot quieter and right on the beach.
Lovely good size well laid out, clean apartment. Hosts supply very nice coffee and biscuits. Yum Parking can be a bit hit and miss but we managed to get outside once the day trippers had gone home. Still worth it.
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing Place - Fantastic location. Extremely kind and welcoming hosts. Incredible views and spacious flat. Everything you need and more provided. Close to local shops. Nothibg to fault at all. The only thing was that we were not expecting to be met at the property as instructions were for self check in but not an issue-just a surprise.

- Mark (10/5): Great apartment in a fantastic location..!! - View from apartment
- Kathryn (9/5): Beach front with spectacular view - The view was spectacular and the property was spacious and clean. It had good security with the code locks, the beds were comfy, and the biscuit supply was very generous!! Being just a stone’s throw from the beach was wonderful, and just a 5 minute walk to the Spa for supplies too was great. We’d highly recommend this stay.
- Stephen (9/5): A well-equipped apartment that gives complete independence and outstanding sea views. - Superb sea views. with dual aspect windows in the main living room. You need good legs to take you up to this apartment, but lovely when you get there. nothing
- Mcintosh (7/5): A comfortable apartment in an excellent spot. - Everything exceeded our expectations once we were in the flat.Wonderful views. We appreciated the efforts In decoration and cleanliness.A handrail in the shower would have been helpful. The milk/coffee biscuits were great Thank you. Access via an external metal staircase was a surprise. A rail on the access steps into the garden would have felt safer.More detailed instructions that access was on the side street would also have helped.
- Paul (10/5): A hidden gem. - Perfect. Free parking close by. Spotless and well equipped for a home from home stay. Bed was very comfy. Sainsburys not far away. Lovely views. May not suit people with mobility issues as there are stairs involved...it is a top floor apartment. Not a lot. It was one of the best stays away that we have had.
- Zukowski (10/5): Great host, great location. Couldn't ask for more. -
- Stephen (9/5): we stayed one night with a Grandson and visited safari park and Dungeness by steam train. - Self catered with some items provided eg. Biscuits, milk etc. Very good views of coast and binoculars available. A good restaurant 'the mulberry' was only 8 minutes easy walk away. Even though self catered it would be nice to meet the hosts, but we were very happy with the accommodation and instructions for entry were clear.
