• John (9/5): A perfectly located, and beautiful appartment from which to enjoy the lake, and the town. - The location is fabulous. Across the road from the ferry landing stage and lakeside promenade. 100m to the supermarket, surrounded by restaurants. It genuinely couldn't be better. Baveno is a very pretty town and the appartment is very much part of it's attractive heart. 44 steps to the apartment was a bit of a surprise, but after the first day with suitcases and the first provision shop it didn't really cause any issues. The Booking.com websites lists it has having a washing machine. It doesn't. There is however a laundry, again within 100m, and this is a perfectly practical solution, with good instructions in English too. It also meant I didn't need to do any ironing. I do filter my searches to select for places with washing machines In this case I am glad I didn't reject it because the positives by far outweigh the negatives. If I come back to the area this will be the first place I check for availability. Hopefully that gives this comment it's proper context.
• Matthias Graef (10/5): - Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in bester Lage der Stadt, perfekt aufgeteilt für eine Familie und gut ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit der Vermittlungsagentur war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Balkone mit Blick auf den See sind traumhaft. Wir kommen gern wieder und empfehlen diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter.
