• Wayne (10/5): Calm, relaxing, just amazing. - Absolutely fantastic property, packed with character but with a modern feel. Beautiful setting we both slept like logs!! The room was so clean and fresh. Fantastic host who prepared an amazing breakfast, couldn’t do enough even after my partner spilled coffee all over her fresh white table cloth😂 have already recommended to friends and family. Nothing, it was amazing!!!!

Set in a beautiful location, it offered the perfect escape. Breakfast was a highlight every morning: fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Jo was an outstanding host—warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. • Gerald (9/5): What we hoped for. - Jo is very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for meeting up with friends. Everything was good if I had to try to find a criticism perhaps a more powerful shower but it wasn't a big problem.

She made sure everything ran smoothly and couldn't do enough during our stay. Her B&B is absolutely immaculate and gives off 5* hotel vibes. Extremely clean all round and we wished we got to stay longer! We will definitely be back!

It was lovely to see cricket being played on the green on Saturday. Very good recommendation of local pub for a drink. Breakfast was delicious The bathroom was very small but adequate. As we were there for three nights it would have been nice to have had some hanging space for clothes

Large wet room type shower in ensuite with easy controls. Ft Towels and soaps supplied along with WiFi as phone reception poor on Three. Breakfast choice and quality very good and served with a smile. Onsite parking good. Planning to return later in year. Very little.

Breakfast was absolutely fantastic; the best I've had for a long time, cooked to order, and served hot on a heated plate. Altogether, a great overnight stop on our touring holiday. We will be back. • Rachel (10/5): Weekend away - The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and set us up very nicely for a day of exploring. The location means you need to plan where you will have meals. It is better to plan ahead and book meals at either of the two pubs which are within walking distance of the bed and breakfast. We stayed over a weekend and needed to travel a little further for our evening meal on the Sunday, so that's worth keeping in mind.
• Jan (10/5): Exceptional Short Stay in the Forest of Dean - Deanfield is the perfect location for exploring the Forest of Dean. Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable and we had plenty of tea and coffee. The en-suite immaculate. Plenty of choice for breakfast and superbly cooked. There was nothing to dislike.

Accommodation was spotlessly clean and comfortable with quality furnishings and toiletries throughout, breakfast selection is varied, plenty of choice and with quality locally sourced ingredients, all cooked and presented to perfection. Car Parking on site is secure. Well located for touring and enjoying the Forest of Dean We had no issues whatsoever, good location, great accommodation, on site parking and quality food with welcoming and knowledgeable hosts

• Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Deanfield is a lovely place to stay. Peaceful location, close to Puzzlewood and Clearwell Caves. Jo, our host was very helpful, she went an extra mile for us. We arrived late evening and she managed to book us in at the local pub for a meal (really nice food and very busy pub). Comfy beds, nice decor throughout and very clean. Tasteful breakfast, beautifully served. We loved staying there. Highly recommended.
