• Eduard (3/5): Voldeed niet aan de verwachtingen - 2 slechte bedden en 1 slecht zetelbed Zwerfkat die constant miauwde en bedelde om eten Overal camera’s buiten?! Koud, moeilijk op te warmen met de warmtepomp Krap qua ruimte, zou enkel als koppel met maximum twee kleine kinderen gaan.

• Bartolo (10/5): Absolutely Wonderfull Dream House - This place was absolutely wonderful—just 1 meter from the river when it’s full, truly like a dream house. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and charming. The outdoor area is lush and peaceful, surrounded by greenery, yet it’s only a 10-minute drive from Bronte. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. We will definitely return—highly recommended!

• Wouter (4/5): Heel teleurstellend - Sleutel werd overhandigd door de aanwezige host. Overigens zondere verdere instructies. We arriveerden op de door ons aangegeven tijd en hebben een uur buiten moeten wachten omdat de host de woning nog in orde moest maken. Vervolgens moest het gras nog gemaaid worden (veel herrie). Eenmaal binnen bleek de douche defect en werd pas op onze derde dag gerepareerd. De faciliteiten binnen waren marginaal bijv. geen bier of wijglazen, geen water heater. En de steile trap naar boven zat niet alleen los, maar was smal en gaf weinig houvast als je nasr boven ging. Al met al zonde van zo een mooi gelegen huis met fraai uitzicht al ligt het wel een vrij drukke weg. Voor de prijs die je ervoor moet betalen had je veel meer mogen verwachten.
• Dario (10/5): PURA POESIA - La Teleferica è un'oasi paradisiaca. Non ci sono parole per descrivere quello che si prova soggiornando in un posto del genere. La casa è molto accogliente, dimensioni a parer mio perfette e funzionali; uno stile rustico che abbraccia sia l'estate che l'inverno. La vista sul fiume Simeto regala emozioni: lucertole, rospi, pesci, libellule di vari colori, aironi, mucche e cavalli, insomma una vera bellezza della natura. La sera è pura poesia: sotto il cielo stellato, incontaminato dalle luci artificiali, i versi dei vari animali presenti nella zona suscitano emozioni che difficilmente si possono provare. La ciliegina sulla torta? I proprietari: Maria (l'host) insieme a suo marito e a suo figlio ti fanno sentire parte della famiglia: persone squisite, ospitali ed empatici. Se volete provare un'emozione unica venite in questo posto!

• Janetta (10/5): Restful stay out of town near Etna in pretty garden with birdsong. - It is on a farm and so quiet with a little river nearby. One wakes with birdsong. It is well equipped( kitchen etc) and spacious and quite luxurious. The host is very friendly and informative. The prickly pears were ripe and we ate them twice! The swimming pool had been prepared for us specially, but we had no time to swim. A pity! Everything was absolutely perfect. There are mosquitoes. She gave us mosquito repellant. The staircase is tricky, and passing through our friend’s room at night was a bit awkward ( bathroom trip) - but we knew that before.

• Rebekah (9/5): Tranquil and a hidden jewel in the ever diminishing countryside - The location - a place of contemplation, more like a retreat. Mesmerised by river action; frogs, lizards, geckos, snakes, fish, small egrets nesting, foxes… always something to focus the eye on. The pool was a life saver from the heat and the property was constantly cool Sat Nav had a tendency to send us across the river, having a house name on the gate would have helped locate the property first time. The spiral staircase was a bit daunting and could do with better H&S at the top, especially if small children stay. Maybe a few more basics such as a corkscrew that worked and a pair of scissors! Can’t really fault the property in any way
• Leonard (7/5): Good - It is a lovely rustic house which is well maintained with modern facilities including air conditioning and in a lovely location right next to a river. It has good private parking and a lovely outside dining area overlooking the countryside and river with wood burning oven and charcoal barbeque. It is accessible directly from a main road. The hosts were very friendly. The bedrooms are on the first floor and access is through a small spiral staircase with a shaky hand rail which makes it awkward to access especially with luggage.
