• Elisa (10/5): Merci - Une vraie pépite dans notre séjour, cette chambre d’hôte se situe au point culminant de Gjirokaster, offrant une merveilleuse vue sur le château et les montagnes. Le chemin est un peu sinueux mais ça en vaut la peine : un accueil extrêmement chaleureux, des hôtes plus qu’attentionnées, nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison !

• Calvin (10/5): We stayed two nights and really enjoyed the town and the hotel. Views were fantastic! - This hotel was probably one of the best in which we stayed on our trip around Albania. The outstanding views from the terrace at breakfast were fantastic. We could see from one end of the valley to the other. We were close to the castle and the restaurants in Old Town. There was a lot of charm about this hotel. Service was wonderful and the bus to the center of town was minutes from our door. We would highly recommend this hotel. It was close to perfect.

• Alexander (10/5): Traumhaft - Alles! Sehr herzlicher Empfang inklusive Begrüßungsgetränk und Restaurant Empfehlung, welche in einem 10min Spaziergang in die Altstadt zu erreichen ist. Zimmer absolut wie auf den Bilder und Bett sehr gemütlich. Ausblick von der Terasse auch traumhaft. Es hat uns hier sehr gefallen!!

• Jan (10/5): - Auf der Durchreise haben wir eine Nacht hier verbringen dürfen und die Inhaberin Redina hat uns persönlich und überaus herzlich in ihrem Zuhause begrüßt. Es gab ein Getränk sowie Obst als Begrüßung und Restaurant-Empfehlungen. Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das hervorragende Frühstück (individuell von Redina zubereitet). Die Anfahrt kann ein wenig anspruchsvoll werden, aber selbst beim Einparken wird persönlich geholfen. Insgesamt hätten wir uns keine bessere Unterkunft wünschen können! Alles super!
• Fadoua (10/5): - Tout était parfait on a eu un super accueil, Redina est une jeune femme adorable qui fait tout pour qu’on soit à l’aise et qu’on ne manque de rien, à notre arrivée Redina nous fait monter sur la terrasse ( qui en passant a une vue incroyable sur la ville et les montagnes spectaculaires)pour nous offrir un verre de bienvenue avec de la pastèque qui était délicieuse. le petit déjeuner était très copieux et tellement agréable sur cette magnifique terrasse.La maison est à à peine 10 minutes à asu château et de la place piétonne où se trouve les restaurants. Bref tout était parfait elle mérite même un 15/10 je conseille à 1000% Rien

• Christina (10/5): Traumhafte Aussicht und leckeres Frühstück - Auf unserer 3-wöchigen Albanienreise war dies die Unterkunft mit den herzlichsten Gastgebern. Redina und ihre Familie sind äußerst gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit - egal ob es um Restaurantempfehlungen, Ausflugstipps oder Hilfe beim Ein- und Ausparken geht. Redina bereitet morgens ein sehr leckeres und abwechslungsreiches Frühstück zu. Die Unterkunft selbst ist liebevoll mit sehr vielen Grünpflanzen dekoriert und hat eine atemberaubende Aussicht über den gesamten Ort und die Berge. -

• Jonas (10/5): Absolute Empfehlung! - Wir hatten die obere Wohnung, die unsere Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen hat. Sie verfügte über ein großes Wohnzimmer mit Küchenzeile, ein schönes modernes Bad mit Waschmaschine, 2 Balkonen und einem direkten Zugang zu der spektakulären Dachterrasse mit einer super Aussicht auf die Burg und die Berge. Die Betreuung der Gastgeberin war außergewöhnlich gut! Das Frühstück oben auf der Terrasse bot jeden Tag Abwechslung und es wird einem jeder Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Alles super.

La habitación estaba impecable, limpia y muy cómoda. El desayuno increíble, estuvimos dos días y fue un desayuno especial para cada día. El mejor alojamiento en el que estuvimos. • Jaime (10/5): Mejores vistas de Gjirokaster - Redina y su madre fueron super hospitalarias, nos recibieron con zumo y al día siguiente nos prepararon un desayuno super completo con unas vistas muy bonitas. Son gente majísima que se preocuparon muchísimo para que nos sintiéramos como en casa. Es el mejor sitio para quedarse en Gjirokaster. Si volviese repetiría sin duda. Por mencionar algo, la ducha no está separada dentro del mismo baño por una mampara o algo parecido, aun así para una o dos noches tampoco es un problema.

Toplocatie buiten het drukke centrum gelegen. Badkamer was wat onpraktisch, er was geen opbergruimte voorzien en douche was vlak naast de w.c.

• Sonja (10/5): Eine Unterkunft, die ich wärmstens weiterempfehlen kann. Die Gastgeberin habe ich zwar nur 2min gesehen, hatte aber viel - Die Unterkunft war wirklich super. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Es gab eine Terrasse von der aus man einen unglaublichen Blick hatte. Die Unterkunft liegt nicht direkt in der Stadt, sondern ein wenig höher und versteckter, aber es war trotzdem alles gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.
• Guest (10/5): Perfection, thank you for a wonderful stay - Ledina and her Mother were just delightful, from the moment we met them, they gave us a warm welcome into their home, the views from their place are truly breathtaking and the breakfast was the best…. I didn’t realise when booking that we would be living in someone’s home, they only have 3 rooms to rent, yes the bathroom is very small but it’s all you need. They are extending. We wish you lots of luck and will definitely be returning. There was nothing we didn’t like, the bedroom and bathroom was small, but adequate, it was immaculate and comfortable bed. The area is not for people who are unfit or disabled.

Het is goed gelegen, rustig en toch kort bij het centrum. De douche in de badkamer vond ik niet handig, maar dat weegt niet op tegen de vele pluspunten.
• Kelsi (9/5): Incredible hospitality and value for money - Himalayas was one of the most hospitable places I have ever stayed- as a guest, you really feel like you are being welcomed into someone’s home. Nothing was too much to ask and the breakfast was super delicious and extensive. The terrace that you eat the breakfast on has the most incredible view! Our room was very comfortable and had great aircon. The place was easy enough to find- we got lost once but that had nothing to do with the location, and had everything to do with trying to use Google Maps in some of Albanias smaller towns (not all roads are marked and some are single lane but not marked as such). It’s super easy to get there if you use the road below the castle and then turn up the cobbled street. I would definitely recommend this place as it is amazing value for money. The bathroom was a little unconventional as the shower was located between the toilet and the sink, but this didn’t bother us at all.

The rooms have an amazing view over Gjirokaster and the castle, it's lovely to sit outside on one of the balconies. Everything is reachable by foot: the castle, the city center, and the famous bridge. If you're staying in Gjirokaster, you won't regret staying at Himalayas! Oh, and the breakfast is delicious!

Les hôtes sont très très très très sympathique, nous les connaissions que d’une journée et ne parlions pas la même langue mais nous avions l’impression de faire partie de la famille. Nos recibieron con un dulce, el desayuno casero fue espectacular y abundante en la terraza con una vista hermosa. La cama super cómoda.

La habitación es un poco pequeña y el baño tiene muy poca privacidad. No se recomienda si vas entre amigos porque se ve todo.

Nous étions proches du bazar et du château tout en étant au calme. La vue de la terrasse est grandiose. Et le petit-déjeuner est un délice N'hésitez pas à poser vos valises.

Toto místo vám přiblíží co znamená: Albánie - země orlů. - + dechberoucí výhledy na údolí, hory, hrad a město - troufám si tvrdit, že z hlediska zážitku nabízí nejlepší výhled v Gjirokasteru + hostitelka k nám byla velmi milá a cítili jsme z ní elán vyřešit vše, co by nám přišlo na mysl. Hostitelka bydlí přímo v domě. + při příjezdu v tropickém dni jsme dostali vychlazený nápoj + tunelem pro pěší pod hradem se lze přiblížit do centra města + na cestě k památce jménem Ali-Pasha Bridge (pozor - velké převýšení a težší terén) + v ubytování jsou k dispozici 3 krásné pokoje s vlastním sociálním zařízením (nejmenší pokoj v přízemí disponuje balkánským typem = sprcha nad toaletou, ostatní pokoje nevím) + po strmých schodech je dostupná terasa s nepřekonatelným výhledem, s barem a posezením - kapacita pro všechny ubytované, takže doporučuji přijet s přáteli + byla nám nečekaně laskavě uvolněna garáž - ačkoliv zajíždění do ní je poněkud náročné + absolutní čistota, pro zchlazení prostředí byla spodní terasa kropena a myta i vícekrát denně + prostor pro sušení oblečení + velmi pohodlná postel + klimatizace + byl nám umožněn pozdní check-in 20-21 - nejmenší pokoj má omezené možnosti pro uskladnění osobních věcí hostů při delším pobytu a snížené soukromí prostoru koupelny. Nevylučuji ale, že takovou blízkost mohou některé páry ocenit. Nebo zvolte větší! - příjezd ideálně malým autem směrem od parkoviště pod hradem, obtížně se parkuje a otáčí. Les hôtes nous ont demandé ce qu'on souhaitait manger pour le petit-déjeuner le lendemain ( fait sur mesure). N'hésitez pas pour réserver cet hébergement ! Rien du tout !

Très bon emplacement, appartement . A proximité du bazar, commerce et restaurant. Situation de l'appartement vraiment au top avec une super vue et très coconing. Nous avons vraiment apprécié cet location. Petit déjeuner gargantuesque. Nous recommandons, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés .
• Simona (10/5): ROOFTOP TERRACE WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEW - Beautiful view from the apt, breakfast on the rooftop terrace, Netflix/Youtube apps, close to the center, kind and helpful host. A little bit tricky road to the apt, not for every driver (and do not follow Google Maps).
• Karen (10/5): Amazing service from Redina, clean room, gorgeous views from windows and roof top. - Redina was a wonderful host! Very caring and helpful with suggestions on best restaurants and how to walk to the castle and bazaar. Breakfast was amazing both mornings we stayed. So generous! Loved the welcome tea /coffee and cake. Stay here for the gorgeous roof top view and amazing service! See through door to the bathroom was odd.

Famille gentille Bon petit dejeuner Bon emplacement pour visiter le centre historique Chambre sans rangement ni rien pour accrocher les serviettes. Tres petite. Salle de bain minuscule et porte en verre transparent pour les toilettes... Les photos peuvent être trompeuses avec le grand-angle (fisheye). Google et waze ne trouvent pas le chemin.

• Tomáš (10/5): - Úžasná slečna/paní, která se o nás během pobytu starala :). Opravdu skvělý lidský přístup, kterého si moc vážíme a pokud znovu pojedeme do Albánie, určitě se zde znovu ubytujeme! Doporučujeme!
• Mamoudou (10/5): - Le personnel était super accueillant et vraiment au petit soins afin de s'assurer qu'on ne manque de rien. L'endroit également était très propre, ça sentait bon parti et les arbres fruitiers amène une touche particulière au lieu.
• Ana Karina (10/5): Better place is Gjirokaster - Best breakfast in the whole Albania! Thanks Redina for your kindness. The view to the mountain while having breakfast is something you'll never forget. We totally recommend this place to stay a couple of nights. It's also well located, 15min from the old Bazaar by walking. There's a traditional familiar restaurant a few steps from the place and we recommend trying it. Also the little dog next to the property will give you a lot of love. We could've stayed more time there. Like most of the cities in Albania, the streets were destroyed and it can be frightened, just drive slowly and announce your arriving time.

The terrace has an amazing view across the valley to the mountains and across to the castle. It is wonderfully peaceful to sit up there and eat breakfast, which was also amazing. The family were so kind, hospitable and helpful. From homemade cake to reserving a bus and dropping me off at the bus stop. Highly recommended. Nothing
• Clément (10/5): - Le cadre est très agréable avec des hôtes très accueillants (petit verre d’accueil) ! Différents conseils + nous a donné une adresse pour manger le soir, c’était excellent ! Chambre rien à redire, très propre. Terrasse en hauteur donnant vue sur la ville. Emplacement calme. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Proche du centre à pied. Pas de défauts ! Juste ne pas être trop grand pour la douche (≈ 2m sous plafond)

Nos gestionaron que nos trajeran pizzas al alojamiento para cenar en una terraza con hermosas vistas. Muy panorámico Punto alto de la ciudad. Muy lindo de decorado , arreglado con detalle y muy limpio Difícil transitar en auto, bajadas subidas, calles estrechas y con muchas curvas ( así es la ciudad). Nos costó encontrar la dirección del alojamiento

• Carina (10/5): Super liebe Gastgeberin - Die Gastgeberin ist super lieb! Sie hat uns mit einem Getränk willkommen geheißen und uns viele Tipps gegeben. Auf der Dachterrasse hat man einen super Blick auf die Burg. Das Frühstück war auch super lecker und reichhaltig. Unsere Anreise mit Google Maps war sehr abenteuerlich, das geht aber auch einfacher - einfach Richtung Burg fahren und über die neue Straße zur Unterkunft. Das Bad ist nur mit einer Glaswand vom Zimmer abgetrennt und die Toilette ist nicht von der Dusche getrennt, nach dem Duschen ist also alles nass. Damit kann man sich aber arrangieren.

• Bram (10/5): - Supervriendelijke host! Redina en haar familie zijn geweldig! Bij aankomst kregen we al meteen een welkomstdrankje, dit op de geweldige patio met uitzicht over de stad en op het kasteel. De kamers zijn netjes onderhouden en leuk ingericht. Het ontbijt op de patio is lekker en het bijhorende uitzicht op de stad en de omliggende bergen is echt fenomenaal! Aanrader!!
• Carolin (10/5): Great place with amazing host and views - Everything was great. The room was cute and newly renovated, and had everything we needed. The host was very friendly, caring and attentive to everything. Also, breakfast was amazing, so much great food. And last but not least, the amazing view of the mountains and castle from the rooftop cannot be better.
• CHRISTOPHE (9/5): Un appartement qui mérite le détour avec une vue magnifique et une famille au petits soins - L'appartement était parfait - beaucoup d'espaces, de fonctionnalités et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes avec une terrasse privée. La famille est très à l'écoute et très disponible. Que dire du petit déjeuner, il est aussi impeccable et diversifié (des crêpes, des fruits, des petites attentions ... avec une belle vue sur le château. L'accessibilité n'est pas facile mais avec l'habitude correct et une place de parking est disponible et sécurisée. Le centre ville est facilement accessible par le tunnel à pieds voire facile. Une très belle découverte.
• raul (10/5): Habrá hoteles mejores, pero en ninguno obtendrás tanto cariño. - El desayuno y las vistas fueron espléndido. La atención de Redina en todo momento fue fenomenal. Nos hemos quedado en mejores hoteles pero la atención y cariño mostrado en este sitio el mejor de todos. Lo peor la ubicación. Nos perdimos al llegar por la noche pero Redina salió a buscarnos sin problema ninguno.

• Ana (9/5): Vistas a las montañas y cerca del centro - La dueña es muy servicial, atenta en todo momento. Se puede llegar al centro andando en unos 10 minutos. La habitación está limpia y el desayuno muy bueno. Las vistas desde la terraza son increíbles. Está en lo alto de la colina, por lo que hay que subir mucha pendiente con el coche. El baño es un cerramiento de cristal dentro de la habitación y no hay plato de ducha por lo que se moja todo.
• Jorge (10/5): La mejor Guesthouse - Sin duda la mejor Guesthouse en la que hemos estado en cuanto a limpieza, comodidad, trato de la encargada, comida... La habitación preciosa, con todos los detalles cuidados, nos ofreció bebida al llegar y un plato de sandía. Muy atenta a todo, desayuno completísimo. Tiene una terraza muy bonita con vista espectaculares al pueblo. Muy cerca del bazar y del Castillo. Incluso nos recomendó sitios para comer. Absolutamente nada.
• Kamila (9/5): Krásné, čisté, příjemné ubytování s velmi milými majitely. - Pokoj byl velmi malý, ale krásně zařízený, jde vidět, že si majitelé dali velmi záležet a dělali to se srdíčkem. Velmi pohodlná a krásně nadekorovaná postel. Koupelna klasická albánská - sprcha se záchodem dohromady, voda všude - ale mají to zmodernizované a krásně obložené. Fén byl na pokoji taktéž k dispozici. Bohatá snídaně s čerstvou domácí buchtou, kterou nám paní majitelka upekla, podávaná na terase s výhledem. Vše bylo čisté, hezké. Lokalita ubytování odpovídající celkové úrovni městečka, proto jsme se večer trošku bály jít uličkami, ale nic se nám nestalo a rozhodně se vydejte i vy na večerní centrum Gjirokasteru, je to nádhera. Poblíž ubytování je mešita. Majitelky byly MOC MILÉ, vstřícné a pohostinné. Strávily jsme zde jednu noc. Doporučujeme! Pokoj je velmi maličký a s rozloženými velkými kufry se tam dá těžko pohybovat, jinak vše ok.
• Karolína (10/5): Great place, perfect people - It was an amazing experience. The people you will meet there are all wondefull, and the place itself is great. The view from the top terrace was our favorite experience from visiting this city. Simply if you want to stay in Gjirokastër, this is the place you are looking for.
