- Margaret (10/5): - The layout worked brilliantly for two single women. It was cosy, comfortable, clean, we absolutely loved it!!
Everything we could possibly want was provided. Nothing!
- Rudenko (6/5): - Having two bedrooms. The kitchen had a lot of necessary little things Very narrow steep stairs that lead to the apartment, and then another one in the apartment. It's hard to climb up them by yourself, and with a suitcase it's a total challenge. The furniture is shabby, especially the sofa in the living room, very uncomfortable. I add to this the windows that are hard to open and close.
- Jan (9/5): - Great apartment in a fabulous location - we would definitely recommend it.
- Sarah (10/5): Excellent, very clean flat in central location. - It was spacious and very clean. Excellent location, a few minutes from the beach. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
- Claudio (9/5): Superb -
- Sue (9/5): Superb - Very clean, great location and comfortable beds Would be even better if I could bring my dog!
- Chris (9/5): Well equipped and comfortable flat in the heart of the town. - Located right in the heart of the town. A short walk to every thing you might need. There is a view of the sea and despite being on the main route through town the flow of traffic (including buses) was not a problem at all. No complaints at all but if you are considering Rooftops the name is appropriate. Two fairly steep sets of stairs up from the street.

- Abigail (7/5): Central location - Great location meant that Whitstable was literally on the doorstep! Apartment is well laid out and fully equipped kitchen meant that eating in was a viable option. The downside of the central location was the lack of parking. There is a car park nearby but at £15 a day it would have added up. We eventually found a space a five minute walk away but it took a bit of driving around. Other downside is the noise you get from staying on a busy street which got in the way of a good night's sleep.
- Jonny (10/5): It was awesome! - It was immaculate and in a great location. N/a
- Joanna (9/5): A lovely little flat in the heart of Whitstable. - Great location in the centre of Whitstable, close to main sites, restaurants and a supermarket and just a few roads back from the beach. We really appreciated being able to get back so easily on foot after going out in the evening. Could see the sea from our living room window! The flat was quite charming and kitted out well with all mod cons you could want and also extra touches like some children's toys and books and a selection of DVDs. The nespresso machine in the kitchen was much appreciated. and the hosts even provided a good selection of pods to start you off! Very little to complain about except that the kitchen could have benefitted from a slightly more thorough clean between guests.
We all found the pillows to be quite firm.
Also if your staying over from Sunday to Monday be prepared for the rubbish truck at 3am in the morning!
- Jane (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (9/5): Great location - so close to everywhere.... we loved it. - The location was excellent. I was a little anxious about noice when I was booking it as flat was on the high street. No need to worry - on the third floor and no noise disturbance at all.
Loved the sitting room it was really light and airy and you could even see the sea! The steps were quite steep for my 87 year old Dad but we managed. Once up there everything was on one level.
- Robyne (8/5): Great location and perfect for our stay on this occasion. - Central location. Heating was set low and we had to adjust on several occasions but it was easy to do.
Property itself was not very easy to find as signage on the building was not clear but after a phone call we managed to locate.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (9/5): Great family holiday. - A great apartment by the sea, perfect location with pubs, shops and restaurants on the doorstepm.
- Susan (8/5): A very enjoyable stay in good accommodation - Good location. Clean. Well equipped Would be useful to have a mirror in the twin room.
The toilet seat needed tightening.
Would be useful to have another armchair in the lounge
- Crisav (10/5): A great little flat in the heart of a bustling, friendly, lovely town. - Excellent position: the world outside your steps. Great flat with all comforts, including Alexa and an excellent sound system. Comfortable bed, all areas extremely clean. Great and helpful staff. I liked everything.
- Regina (8/5): Whitstable is a bustling, busy place on the weekends and this property is in the middle of it! - Very central location, easy walking to restaurants. Bonus facilities included Nespresso machine and smart speakers. Comfortable main bed and good water pressure in the shower. Kitchen facilities were perfectly sufficient for us, and ample bathroom supplies provided. There is no allocated free parking, but there is a reasonably priced pay and display parking area very close by. Navigating the two flights of steep, narrow stairs was awkward with heavy bags, particularly as there was very little room to maneuver as you enter. There was also no washing machine, though it was noted on the property listing. We had no access to the second bedroom as there was a leak in the roof, and though we were offered an alternative property, we would rather have been offered a price break, since none of the other properties offered had a second bedroom, either. This was one of the primary reasons why we chose this one.
It must be noted that the stairs and roof leak are not items that can held against this property. The first is something to simply be aware of, and the leak an unfortunate, unforeseeable problem.

- Yvonne (8/5): Enjoyable. Good restaurants nearby. - Ideally situated Bedside lighting poor. Light in sitting room not working but found a spare light bulb.
- Lucy (8/5): Lovely seaside appartment in an ideal spot for exploring Whitstable and more! 😀 - Lovely ideal spot for exploring Whitstable, and very close to the sea. Everything literally on your door step including shops, restaurants, pubs and bus stops for Herne Bay and Canterbury. Pretty appartment, very comfortable beds and spacious, especially for myself and mum sharing. Not too noisy despite being on the High Street. Everything you need and would stay again! My mum (mid 70s) found the steps a little tricky but still manageable. As on the high street more private to be up a level on the second floor so personally think it is worth it if manageable, plus you can see all the comings and goings 😀
- Dorothy (8/5): a great little flat in a super spot . - the flat was perfectly located and bright and modern . steps / stairs might have been a problem for some .
