Guest Reviews
- Michael (6/5): It was advertised as Forster but it is located at Red Head - Cleanliness Location, no off street parking and very average continental breakfast
- Shapter (10/5): Excellent - We will do it again the best place
- Heather (9/5): The host were friendly, but gave us full privacy. It was great to have breakfast supplies to start u - Located nearby to wonderful, clean beaches. The beaches are accessible by a shady walk. There is also a koala reserve bordering the property abounding with both koalas and kangaroos. Blackhead has a library, cafe, tennis court and skate park. The nearby town of Forster is only a 20 minute drive, and offers a cinema, fun park, pristine beaches and rivers. It is s bustling holiday destination with a wide selection of cafes and restaurants.

- Margaret (8/5): Seascape cottage nice and cosy - The location was excellent and great value for money Some of the food provided was stale. The Weetbix in the containers provided were quite old, just needs to be replaced more frequently
- Peter (9/5): - Peace,only the birds chatting. NA
- Gervase (9/5): -
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mikaela (9/5): Superb - Super friendly hosts who accepted an on-the-day booking and made us feel right at home! Comfortable spot which looks onto a forested area - great place to sit and have your morning coffee. Conveniently located with plenty of outdoorsy things to do nearby - and if you're at a loss, Buddy would be happy to give you some suggestions! Would stay again :) N/A
- Amanda (9/5): We had a relaxing time at Seascape. Buddy and Wendy were very gracious and friendly hosts. - We loved it at Seascape. Felt like a home away from home coming back from our long day trips. Bed was comfortable, it’s private and sitting outside first thing listening to the birds was just serene. Bathroom was so clean and a pleasure to use. No hot plate so if you’re staying longer than 2/3 nights, be prepared to buy out unless you’re happy with sandwiches and salads.
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (7/5): Good -
- Rodney (8/5): Pretty good. - Quiet location Maybe a front entrance would be better
- Luigi (7/5): Good -
- John (3/5): A very ordinary property property (even allowing for the price) and one to avoid - Not much to commend this place. The owner answered the door when I knocked - not all sure I was even in the right place - and was quite pleasant and positive Where do I start? No signage whatsoever to suggest you are in the right place. No heating source whatsoever, despite it being a cold evening. Entry was through a gate and then through the backyard of the property with uneven surfaces everywhere. Flannelette sheets are seriously inappropriate at anytime, but perhaps they were used because there was no heating. The door from the main room inside should be a bi-fold as it obstructed the entry to the bathroom - just poor layout and little concern for the customer. Breakfast was a serious over statement - describing it as very basic is a compliment!
- Michele (5/5): Passable -
- Lina (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful time sleeping in the comfy bed and you can really tell the effort and love that‘s being invested with all the small decorations and a fridge stocked with a little breakfast for an easy start. Thank you so much for having us!
- Lynne (10/5): Great place to stay. - Great room with all that I needed for my stay and the owners are lovely.
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Sharon (8/5): Very good -
- Leo (10/5): Exceptional - The studio was just perfect! It is a decent size, very comfortable to stay some days enjoying the beautiful view in the backyard and only a few minutes walking to the beach. The place was impeccably clean and well decorated.
- Mel (8/5): Great hosts and well presented unit, clean, tidy, with a cool beachy theme - Beautiful spot, although roads in and out are really bad, obviously a council issue and not to do with host. Microwave is provided but something to cook with, maybe a mini electric fry pan just to make couple of things like, toasted sandwich or eggs/bake beans with the toast etc as I couldn’t afford to eat out every day
- Nick (10/5): Relaxing - Small apartment below owners residence. Everything we needed for our stay. Short walk to a beautiful beach. Had to drive for dinner though the two places we used did offer a courtesy bus.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gail (7/5): Good -
- Christine (9/5): Excellent and very comfortable. Location and surrounding areas beautiful 👍 - Was clean, very comfortable bed and everything you needed. Location was amazing It was fine for us but as no aircon would be very hot if weather hot.
Buddy & Wendy where perfect hosts😁
- Diane (9/5): Superb -
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Cassidy (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): AWESOMENESS - Wendy and Buddy were very friendly booked a courtesy bus for us so we can go out for dinner
Gave a run down on what’s in the area and what to see we couldn’t be any happier Had to move along as our holiday was over
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was great and we both wanted to say thank you kindly to you both. We would highly recommend this accommodation! The peace and quiet was wonderful 😊
- Jean (9/5): Long Weekend Escape - Great location, you have everything you need, it's quiet, comfortable and relaxing. We were well looked after and made to feel very welcome.
Such a magnificent place to visit.
- Robert (7/5): Overall quite good except for "oldie" access - Location OK. Definitely need own transport Negotiating back yard to gain entry was a little "hairy" for a couple of 80 year olds. Probably not a problem for the more agile.
- Robyn (10/5): Loved it. - Cute room, great host & gorgeous location.
- Bernardine (8/5): Pleasant and relaxing. - I enjoyed my stay at Seascape. Wendy and Buddy were friendly and helpful and the location was excellent. The unit was lovely and had everything I needed for a few nights' stay. Checking in and out was easy. I wasn't sure if the TV might be disturbing them, as I could hear some noise from upstairs. But it wasn't overly intrusive. No more than at home. And the only other noise was bird sounds which were lovely.
- Ashaus (10/5): Value for money - Nice quiet place close to beach and rockpool!
Great for a quiet weekend getaway.
