• Pawel (10/5): - Lovely cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. Views on to the sea (on a good weather). It felt very cosy and homely. The kitchen layout was very odd (not intuitive to cook as you run between the hob and sink on the complete opposite side of the room)

• Adele (8/5): Tranquil, scenic and quiet. A beautiful place. - The location was lovely and remote, just a short drive to the beach which had free parking. It’s remote so make sure you fill your car up, however there is a pump in the village klb a few miles away. The cottage is beautiful and the kitchen had sauces and tinned food etc if you needed it (even though we didn’t) it was a nice touch. We visited the blue food van in Klb and the fish n chips were amazing! And the lady was lovely too. Durness is a must to visit, the beach is stunning! No seating in the garden, luckily we took some camping chairs. The garden is a bit messy and we were left to pick up an obscene amount of dog poo from the previous holiday makers, that wasn’t a good start to our holiday. Holiday makers should be respectful and clean up after their pets.

• Agnieszka (10/5): Exceptional - We absolutely loved this place- it was spacious and had a lot of nice touches that made us feel right at home. Darren and Carrie took care of everything- the place was clean and had everything we needed. They were also very responsive. The area is stunning and so many gorgeous beaches to choose from, it’s a perfect place for a quiet, relaxing holiday.
• Fiona (10/5): 'The wonderful Oldshorecroft'. - Oldshorecroft is outstanding. Situated in a stunning rural location with panoramic views. The croft itself is so homely, clean with everything you need to totally unwind. A beautiful Woodburning stove in the heart of the croft - the kitchen. Every window has breathtaking views. It even has a record player and a wondering vinyl location. Some of scotlands most stunning secluded beaches are right on the doorstep. Fantastic hikes. Very friendly locals. We even had a spectacular display of the northern lights from the front garden. Pet friendly. My two labradors and colliev felt right at home. The hosts are lovely. Very friendly, helpful, and totally down to earth. We had a wonderful 2 week stay. The only downside - we had to leave ☺️
• Laura (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is well equipped and the location was perfect for our needs.
• Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Superb location in the north west, not far from facilities in Kinlochbervie but quiet enough to feel appropriately wild; with great local cove beaches, and right at the start of the walk to expansive sandwood bay (and we also drove up to Durness and Smoo cave and down to Scourie past Handa Island). The home has a great kitchen dining area with a gloriously warm woodburner. The rooms were comfy, with views of the sea, little isles and the neighbouring hills. The shower pressure was excellent, and with the second bathroom with a bath in it we were spoilt for comfort! Can imagine it is spectacular in the summer and it was absolutely magical for our winter stay.
• Christine (8/5): Very good - We loved this comfortable house,.warm and cosy with wonderful views from upstairs windows down to the coast. It was super accessible to the beaches and bays around and within 2 minutes walk of the hike to sandwood bay.

• Jamie (10/5): Idyllic break away from reality - Very well maintained cottage in an area of outstanding beauty! The beaches are stunning and such a short walk from the house. We had excellent communication from the host which made our stay even more smooth.
• Will (9/5): Can’t wait to come back! - House is in a brilliant location for Oldshoremore Beach, Shegra beach and Sandwood Bay. Great views from upstairs bedroom. Cosy kitchen and living room with everything you’d need. Host was commutative, polite, friendly and really accommodating.
