• 長崎の黒馬 (9/5): - 貸し切り露天風呂が、田沢湖を目の前に解放感があり楽しかった。あいにく、雨と風の中ではあったが田沢湖の自然を体感した。朝晩の食事も秋田の郷土色豊かで旅情を添えた。 貸し切り露天風呂は、30分ずつの時間割で、複数回の利用も可能であるが、一つしかない。もう一つあってもよいのではないか。

• Arturo (10/5): - Agradecemos de corazón al personal del hotel por tan acogedora estancia. Nos ha fascinado Tazawako. El lago Tazawa es probablemente una de las zonas mas bonitas del país. Nos encantó el onsen privado, sobretodo por el día, poder bañarse viendo esas vistas es mágico. El onsen público también nos pareció una pasada, se trata de 3 zonas, una interior y dos exteriores, todas ellas muy bonitas. La cena una maravilla, platos muy variados y deliciosos que jugaban con nuestro paladar dandonos una experiencia muy divertida y sabrosa. Tienen una zona en la entrada para sentarte con tu café mientras observas el oleaje de el río a excasos metros de ti. Muy cerca hay un pequeño puerto donde podrás darle de comer a los peces y realizar una excursión de 40 minutos en un barco grande alrededor del río, lo recomiendo mucho, además nosotros reservamos justo al lado unas bicicletas para recorrer alredor de el río, llegamos hasta el tori rojo (que no está muy lejos) y fue una de las mejores experiencias que vivimos con unos paísajes de película. Las vistas de la habitación llevaron a otro nivel la estancia, poder levantarse viendo eso fue lo más terapeutico que necesitaba en mi vida. Espero poder repetir algún día en este hotel, espero poder algún día pasar varias semanas en Tazawako.
• Nayeli (8/5): Gran lugar para una escapada romántica y tranquila - Las vistas son lindisima y se respira una tranquilidad y paz como en ningún lado. Todo muy limpio y la chica que nos atendió en la cena fue lindisima. Ahhh y el desayuno estuvo magnifico, lo mejor sin duda. Se disfruta mucho del onsen privado y las vistas wow! Es un poco viejo y descuidado por fuera el edificio, pero por dentro lo mantienen muy bien.

• Tan (9/5): Serene Lakeside Stay with Stunning Views - We had a lovely stay, with spectacular views of Lake Tazawa from our room and even from the private onsen. The lake is right at the doorstep, perfect for relaxing sunset strolls. We really enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner, and the tranquil surroundings made it easy to unwind. What’s new to us is, there’s no shower in the room, we need to use the public or private onsen facilities instead.

• Vilairatana (9/5): - The private onsen has such an AMAZING VIEW. Too bad when we visited it was raining and cloudy so we didn’t see the mountain on the other side, although the cold adds to the outdoor onsen experience. We visited on a weekday, so didn’t have any trouble in finding a slot for the private onsen both during morning and night. We didn’t reserve the dinner option, but the breakfast we booked was very delicious. The Japanese futon bed is a bit on the hard side, so if you are a side sleeper consider western style room.

I was encouraged by the great reviews and opinions. The hotel had an amazing private onsen, and it was also located near the beautiful Lake Tazawa. Unfortunately, my stay was disrupted by one issue. On Booking.com I saw that booking the room included dinner and breakfast. Before arriving, I was convinced that I would be able to eat there and therefore did not prepare any food myself. However, the staff said that they had no information about any meals included with my reservation. Even though I booked a room with dinner and breakfast, I received nothing, and the staff only said “sorry”, even though this problem was caused by the way they managed the hotel’s website. This kind of situation was unacceptable for me, and that is why I give this place a rating of 1. A mistake like this from the facility disqualifies the hotel from being considered a good one.

I understand it's there for safety reasons but sitting in the low chairs it blocks the view partially. And it's such a great view you don't want to miss any of it.

Private onsen available with a 30 min reservation slot which I found vedy useful so you can book your spot in advance for the day.

• Goldy Bardin (10/5): A memorable, 5-star experience. A lovely property with thoughtful touches. - Located right on beautiful Lake Takazawa, the interior of the property is artfully designed. The dinner and breakfast which were both included were incredible. The reservable private onsen had an amazing view of the lake. The exterior of the property could use a bit of paint, but once you're inside, it's a 5-star experience. There was no early checkin. We got there a little early and there was no one in the lobby until checkin time.

Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, innen wie außen ( Farbe) müsste etwas gemacht werden, aber die Lage fantastisch…
• Catherine (9/5): Très bon moment - Belle chambre de style japonais avec vue sur le lac. Possibilité de privatiser un bain extérieur avec la vue magnifique sur le lac Tazawa. Les espaces partagées (hall, onsen..) dans le calme et sérénité, avec de petites attentions qui font plaisir et rendent le séjour plutôt magique. Tout cela également grâce à l'investissement et la gentillesse du personnel. Nous regrettons de ne pas avoir profité de la vue sur le lac lors du petit-déjeuner car certaines tables étaient isolées des grandes baies vitrées. Très dommage car sinon tout aurait été parfait.

All rooms have lake views, and the private onsen does as well. Sunsets from the private onsen, sunrises from our room - pure bliss. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. This is one of the places we will return to again! Nothing.
