You can roll out of your hotel room and lounge on the beach in 2 minutes 😄 Really great and clean facilities, nice and peaceful, good service, water and coffee available, literally the best prices in town! - Sara (8/5): Great location by the sea side! - The location was absolutely brilliant! Right next to the train station and Dreamland where we were attending a gig. Lovely sea view as well and a short walk to nice coffee place (Garage) and brunch location (The Bus Cafe). The amount of sunlight coming into the room in the morning was A LOT! We'd have really liked some better blinds/curtains so we could've slept in more. Also the room was on the top floor, which I'm thankful we only had a rucksack, as any large luggage would've been tough to get all the way up there!
- Alex (3/5): Very poor value for a substandard room - There was no breakfast but there was good tea making facilities in the room. There was a good view of the sea. And it was spotlessly clean. Extremely poor value for money (£150) - a tiny room in a cramped house. Not sure id have been happy to pay a 3rd of that. No breakfast or evident communal areas or even a reception, it’s not really a proper hotel. The room was not comfortable with harsh fluorescent lighting and disagreeable decor (red sheets), the building appeared dilapidated (rickety old windows).
- Susan (7/5): We loved the proximity to station and beach and all the attractions of Margate. The room was at the top of the buildin - Though not luxurious, It had all the facilities we needed. The best things were the seaview, and the very comfortable bed. It was nice having an en suite toilet/shower room though the shared toilet and the bathroom we passed on the stairs appeared clean. When we arrived the owner was not there to check us in and we could not reach anybody on any of the listed phone numbers. This was very worrying for me and my son. After about an hour we had a call back from the owners who gave us instructions on how to access our key. This was easy so it would have been much better if they could have given us these instructions in advance if they weren’t going to be there. I think the owner said hello to us as we were leaving on our last day. other than that we did not see them.

- Alan (9/5): Location Location Location! - The location is fantastic Train station just behind you, Beech just in front of you. Walk left for the quieter beaches or want more space, walk right for the busier and town.7 Only checked my booking on the train it turns out my booking didn't have ensuite. When greeted by one of the friendly owners Richard asked if i could upgrade no problem Paid £20 and got a sea view and an ensuite Room was clean and comfortable 2 chairs by the window tea/coffee making facilities and a couple of bottles of water, fridge in the rooms chest of drawers and a couple of other bits. But to be honest all., I do is sleep on the bed for a couple of hours then ill be out going out for swim, walk, coffee or a beer! I would happily stay here again, and recommend it Thanks for my short stay I noticed a pool table down stairs on my way out and I had a friend with his son staying elsewhere and I thought as we were passing we could pop in have a game of pool but sort of got the impression guests weren't allowed by the lady present, now could of been fine if I asked or explained my intentions but I didn't just went back out again!

- Amanda (4/5): dissapointing - Where do i start. Not the best of recetions ive had at a hotel, made us feel like we were an inconvinience !!! Lady seemed very grumpy and when we left, it says to leave your keys in the room. We were questioned on our departure about the keys and she rolled her eyes and huffed when we said we had left them in the room ???. Shower either scorching hot or freezing. No lift so do not book if you cannot do 6 flights of stairs !!!. The electric went off at midnight and didnt return until 8am - only the sockets which made us think this was intentional ??? . zero parking for all day- just to be aware . You can only park in surrounding car parks for 15 hrs . Close to dream land whiuch was good for us . Room very clean and bed very comfortable reception. Parking. Shower. Use of electricity past the hour of 12 midnight !!! Top floor room ( good job we could manage the stirs. tricky with 2 suitcases

- Cam (7/5): Lovely little cocoon! - It’s just a few steps away from the train station and the beach. My room has sea view, I can just lay down, watching TV and enjoying sea view at the same time (they have quite good movies to entertain with). They refresh my room every day, make it as comfortable as possible. Came in Easter break and they prepared some chocolates, how amazing was that! There is a sink in my room but bathroom is shared. Pretty close to most places that I planned to visit. And again the sea view is just magnificent! The door is so hard the use (I’m quite weak actually), and also quite cold at night, sorry!

- Jeggo (10/5): Overnight comfortable stay after a music concert at Dreamland - Spot on location for Dreamland. Managed to park directly outside, watched Pendulum at Dreamland, returned to the room for a good night sleep. Bed was a bit small, other than that it was all perfect.

I know it was very cheap, but I thought that for that price we would get a slightly larger room, preferably with a sea view.
