Noel (10/5): Overall, this house is an ideal getaway for nature lovers and those wanting the convenience of town life. I highly recom - Charming house in the heart of Ambleside, and it was fantastic! The location was perfect, right in the center of town with shops and cafes just a short walk away. The house was immaculate, cozy, and felt like a home away from home. One of the best features was the direct access to stunning hill walks right from the doorstep, offering breathtaking views and trails for all levels. The hosts were friendly and provided excellent local recommendations, enhancing my experience.
Don (10/5): The Property was first class and provided everything we needed. Now our 'go to' property. - The Property had everything we needed for our stay (2 dads and 2 son in laws) exploring the area on mountain bikes. The garage was a godsend for storing and charging the bikes. Beds super comfy, sky sports on the TV and space to park our two vehicles. Just a comment, not a complaint. The property had a lovely hot water supply, but the showers were not as powerful as we would have liked, but probably due to the hot water tank being in the garage so water had to be pumped up to the bathrooms. (Only a minor issue). Didn't detract from our stay.
