Guest Reviews
- Emma (8/5): Short break - Beautiful location, very quiet, the yurt was amazing, very clean, loved the log burner and stove, beds comfortable, plenty of room, nice touches biscuits tea, coffee, and milk, own bathroom and kitchen area. The lack of hot water was a problem, only 10 liters available at any one time, only able to wash hair before water running cold, we were warned by owner when we arrived, but impossible to shower without getting out for water to reheat, it's a shame as other than that a great experience.
- Robert (10/5): - Perfect. Great position, clean, and everything we meeded
- Ruth (9/5): -
- Alex (10/5): Would reccommend - Great location
Great hosts
Great stay Na
- Deborah (10/5): Fabulous - Location was fabulous. Yurt was awesome and a great space. Yes you have private toilet & shower, fridge & kitchen sink There is a seperate open covered cooking area (gas-fired) complete with old school BBQ. Evening time was fun trying to get log burner to stay alight. Logs and fire starters all included. You are staying on a working farm so it was extra specail to see the 'extra calves' appear day by day. The highlight for our grandschildren was checking out how many cows were in the field next to the Yurt. Listening out for natures natural sounds...amazing
- Robin (6/5): A place for campers not tourists/travellers - The Yurt was clean and comfortable and a novel experience (in a field) The place is designed for campers, i.e., no towels, shampoo, etc. We traveled from abroad so we did not bring those things. I don't remember seeing that in the description.
There was stuff to make tea and coffee but you had to use their camping stove and for that you needed matches. There was no wifi or electrical outlets/plugs in the Yurt.
- Martin (10/5): Great value. - Perfect and unique
- Kylie (10/5): Didn't want to leave ❤️ - This place is a little slice of heaven. So warm, cosy & welcoming. The massive bed was so comfy, could have stayed there all day!. Large refrigerated box in the outbuilding, tall enough to stand wine in. 🥂 This yurt is off grid, so USB lead needed for charging. No normal sockets, but I'm not putting this as a negative as once you got used to the idea, it was very freeing. Views are breathtaking. Great location, excellent local pub. Highly recommend this beautiful dog friendly getaway. We'll definitely be back.
- Alexandru (10/5): Excellent - Everything
- Johnson (10/5): - The location is beautiful and you can see the thought and care that goes in to making sure people have what they need. The owner was very helpful and responded to requests/ queries very quickly. The yurt was very cozy and comfortable.
- Nicky (9/5): Quiet countryside stay in spacious yurt - well situated for exploring Cornwall. - Really spacious, much bigger than I had expected, and very comfortable. The other building with the toilet, shower and kitchen areas for our private use were also great too. The Yurt is situated very privately with a lot of grassy areas around it to enjoy. We loved sitting on the decking area too and used the stone pathway for the barbecue. Andrew, the owner, couldn’t be more helpful. Even the cows were lovely! Really amazing value for money. Nothing.
- Katherine (10/5): - The location was very peaceful and with a lovely view. The family loved the cows and rabbits and everyone slept well. Great facilities overall, with everything we needed
- Anastasiia (10/5): - This is a wonderful place to relax. The child was delighted. The place is very profitable. All attractions in an hour or less drive. Thanks for the coffee !!! Thank you . Everything is very wonderful
- Eleanor (10/5): We had a lovely last minute break here it was stunning. - This is an amazing location with a beautiful yert really well provisioned. Stunning views and secluded spot. The property was spacious and clean with everything you need close by.
- Oliver (9/5): Taking a break in the fields - Very peaceful area, perfect for relaxing after visiting various places along the coast (the farm is close to many highlights). And it was fun going to bed or waking up with rabbits, birds and cows all around. Just a reminder: take your own power bank if you need to charge your phone or camera overnight, as there are no power sockets in the yurt.
- Jensen (7/5): Good - Good location and nice set up, quiet but not too fair away from everything The shower was poor, we thought it might have just been a ‘caravan shower’ but when the owners arrived on the second day unannounced to ‘fix’ it was very random, not the best experience
Also the only way to charge a mobile phone was through a light? We understand it’s off grid camping but to be advertised as having electric was not really true
- Lawrence (10/5): Thanks so much for the stay. Enjoyed a barbecue and quiet night relaxing by the fire before heading off sight seeing. h - Beautiful location, quiet, relaxing, fantastic facilities.
really easy travel to local destinations such as St Ives, Lands End, Penzance & St Michaels Mount
- Edvardas (9/5): Superb - New experience was nice. I didn't like the fact that there is no skylight curtain. Because very early it starts to shine in the eyes. But this is correctable.
- Serhiikuz (10/5): Exceptional - Unforgettable experience! We liked this place so much! Comfy yurt heated by stove, powered by solar panels. Lovely silence breaking by bird song and "moo" at times. The location is very convenient as you can reach any seaside or farm shops in 15 minutes driving. We definitely will come back!
