- Richard (1/5): Disappointing and Stressful Experience - My family and I had an extremely disappointing experience with this property in August 2024. When we arrived, we were shocked to find that the room we had received a confirmation for was already occupied by another family. When we contacted the host, they told us it was our problem and that we should have called before making the reservation. This was our first time using Booking.com. This left us stranded with no place to stay and forced us to find alternative accommodations at the last minute, causing significant stress and additional expenses. Despite multiple attempts to contact the host to resolve this issue, we received no response. Adding to our frustration, the booking platform informed us that any cancellation request had to be made directly to the host. The platform also contacted the host on our behalf to request a reimbursement, but the host has still not responded. This experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend this property to anyone. It was clear that taking our money was no problem, but providing basic customer service in a timely manner was too much to ask. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your stay.
