Guest Reviews
- Family (9/5): Would stay again ! - Walking distance to historical sites and shops and food! 9am checkout 🫩
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): A wondeful and characterful base from which to explore the whole of Norfolk. - A cosy and well appointed cottage. Slightly quirky arrangement with adjacent cottages and access through a church yard but not problematic Surrounded by historical sites within walking distance; Priory, castle ruins, St James church and Nar river. and even more by car in less than one hour; Ely, Norwich, Kings Lynn, Grimes Graves etc. Warm with central heating and a log burner for cosy evenings. Great shop nearby and a pub within 50 metres! Very approachable and lovely owners should there be any minor issues. If only there was room for a second toilet.
- Juliette (10/5): Fabulous time exploring this area of Norfolk. This cottage was the perfect base for us and we found it so homely. Lots o - The property was full of character and we loved the location just next to the church in the lovely village of Castle Acre. Only slight negative was the very soft mattresses on the 4 single beds. Probably ok for children but we were a group of adults so not so comfortable. However, this did not affect our overall enjoyment of the cottage.
- David (10/5): Great location, lovely homely cottage - Great cottage at the edge of the village. Great layout and loads of instructions on how to make your stay great and how to use the various equipment in the house. It was very cold on arrival and it was hard to heat the cottage up as the rules asked you not to adjust the heating to constant but the ground floor was okay if you get the log burner going.
