First of all, this booking was very last-minute due to an error I made with another property. I only realized the mistake around 8:30 PM, which meant we suddenly had no place to stay that night. We had traveled from Montreal for work errands, so we were already quite tired, and the situation could have been very stressful. Around that time, it was already close to 9 PM, and most of the affordable places I found had already passed their check-in time, which made me quite anxious. We were truly relieved to find this property. The place itself is wonderful. We were especially grateful that a private parking spot was available for us at the time of booking, and we were not charged for it. We understand that if it hadn’t been available, we would have needed to use street parking with a fee, which would have been completely fine as well. The late check-in option until 11 PM without any extra fees was also a huge help. The location was easy to find, and our basement room was very accessible. When we entered, everything smelled really good and looked incredibly clean and well-kept, which made it feel very welcoming. There is a small dining nook with a microwave, as well as complimentary coffee and tea, which we really appreciated. Our room had its own private bathroom, which was a big plus, and everything was spotless. Thoughtful touches like complimentary water, slippers, and small chocolates made our stay even more special. The bed was very comfortable, and even though we only stayed for a few hours, we were able to sleep very comfortably. The heating worked perfectly, and the hot water was excellent. The shower also had a handheld option, which made everything very convenient and hassle-free. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive. • Mark (9/5): - The owner lived upstairs and was very friendly and helpful. Lovely room and shared kitchen. Easy access. Location was a little in the suburbs, but we didn't really research very well and cold have figured that out easy enough if we wanted. We had no car. If we had one all would have been great.

• Laning (9/5): Quick getting in; quiet and comfortable. - There was no breakfast. The location was easy to find and in a very nice neighbourhood. It was close to where we were going. So, very convenient that way. There was nothing that I could suggest to change. The room was fairly small, but that's what we expected for the price. We just needed a place to sleep and the bed was more than big enough.

• Smith&AAC (9/5): A warm and thoughtful host provided exceptional hospitality with numerous personal touches&amenities - The host was warm, welcoming and friendly and even offered to make me breakfast as a bonus, I had a meeting so couldn't take her up on that but it was so appreciated.The location was unbeatable right off the highway made it easy to get to the places I needed too. I loved the attention to detail. The host provided bathroom essentials ie. Q-tips, elastics, steamer, mini fridge filled with water in the bedroom, which is great to keep your food separate from other guests. There were also chocolates in the room! They also had a nice choice for coffee and tea, including herbal which I don't find everywhere I go. Check in was very easy, appreciated the free parking. I was in the Dream room which had an ensuite. Be mindful there are two dogs upstairs who did get quite worked up and were barking for a while, you can tune it out with music, but in case anyone's a super light sleeper. Also, the room didn't have space for a wardrobe or dresser, but the host did provide hangers on the back of the door which was helpful. If you are travelling with two vehicles this may present a challenge as there was only one additional parking spot on the driveway, the other car would require City permit.

• Simone (7/5): Buono ma personalmente non mi ha soddisfatto - Ottimo soggiorno, camera pulita e prezzo giusto. In camera faceva troppo freddo, anche chiudendo entrambe le bocchette di aerazione. La sera si sentiva forteodore di cibo o di fumo di sigaretta provenire dall’interno della casa. Essendo un seminterrato, l’illuminazione era quasi assente. Posizione comoda per l’aeroporto, ma piuttosto scomoda per raggiungere il centro di Toronto.

The bed was very comfortable, and we really appreciated the water bottles and coffee provided. The space felt private, fresh, and welcoming. One small suggestion: it would be helpful to make the parking rules clearer, especially since street parking is limited to 3 hours and there are no signs indicating this. Guests from outside the area might not know about it. Overall, a wonderful stay!

• Maria Emilia (10/5): Great room with private bathroom. - Tammy and her husband are very nice!! The room was very clean and confortable. It has mini fridge. The kitchen is good but you can’t really cook. We didn’t need it so, for us it was great.

Bottled water and coffee was available to us for the entirety of our stay. Our hosts even provided us with a bag of snacks and water for the road. We stayed in Wish, which felt like staying in a box. It is in the basement of the home and feels like it. We did not see the dimensions listed in the Booking app so we were quite surprised. Our private bathroom was across the hall. We did not realize this either. We found it very inconvenient. We were advised by another host to check the Booking web site about a property to get complete information.

Als wir ankamen, fuhr sie uns in eine Shoppingmall, "weil es mit dem Bus zu kompliziert sei". Die Zimmer waren mit Liebe eingerichtet, leider waren sie im Keller mit wenigTageslicht und sehr klein. Das einzig für uns wirklich Störende war die Lautstärke des Durchlauferhitzers und der Klimaanlage.

• Thomson (10/5): I would stay again, easily. - They paid attention to the little things, which made a big difference. I really like the Privacy and the full kitchen. Left ample water bottles, because it was hot during my stay. One thing I liked a lot was that the bed was firm. I like a firm bed, and I slept very very well. I would come back here. The place was great. However, if you are going to downtown Toronto, don't do it during rush hour. It will take about an hour, so I waited until around 10:00 a.m.. I drove down but decided to Uber over there. In the evening, it only took 30 minutes for downtown Toronto. But the area of North York has a lot of nice amenities.

Far exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean with decent facilities. Nice neighbourhood. Only complaint was that the walls and door seemed a little thin as we could clearly hear others passing by the room and dogs barking nearby.

One of the kindest person we met on our trip and helped us a lot with options on how to get where we needed to! :) Enjoyed her garden and so beautiful flowers by sipping your morning coffee on the outside and slept in a bed SO comfy ❤️ Plus, the aroma in this house is a 11/10! There is nothing wrong with this place!

• Giovannitrn (9/5): Ottima soluzione per brevi soggiorni - The structure is located in the basement of a private home, but has the advantage of being equipped with everything you might need. Excellent cleanliness, lots of attention with complimentary water in the fridge inside the room, microwave, coffee and tea in the kitchen. Possibility of parking space. The host had us find more water and snacks for us upon checkout. The air conditioning is centralized so you can't control it from the room. We only discovered later that the vent had to be closed manually. The host is not very immediate in responding to any needs.
