- Anil (10/5): - We stayed at Sofia for 2 nights while traveling from Tbilisi to Kutaisi, and it was a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed. We had a great chat with the owner, Vito—such a warm and friendly person who gave us excellent recommendations on places to visit and where to enjoy delicious local food. The stay itself was very comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and a great breakfast to start the day. We also had the chance to meet Vito’s parents; although we didn’t share the same language, communication flowed easily, and it was a truly heartwarming experience. Overall, it’s a lovely family-run place, and I would highly recommend Sofia to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in Kutaisi.
- Aušra (10/5): - Jaukūs svečiū namai, labai malonūs ir paslaugūs šeimininkai. Pusryčiai kaip namie, skanu, paprasta, bet ne prasta. Naminiai vaisiai ir daržovės. Išklauso pageidavimų. Bendraujantys. Vakare sėdi sau terasoje, valgai arbūzus ir džiaugiesi ramybe. Švaru, tvarkinga. Ačiū. Grįšim! Viskas patiko!!!!
- Andreea Mihaela (10/5): - Anfitriona muy amable. Desayuno espectacular (en un jardín). Ubicado en un barrio tranquilo de casas. Algo apartado del centro (25-30 min andando), pero compensa por la tranquilidad.
- SOPHIE BATAILLE (9/5): Un séjour très agréable à Koutaïssi - La gentillesse des propriétaires qui ont été aux petits soins pour nous. La maison est très calme, le petit-déjeuner délicieux et la chambre super propre. On a pu organiser le transfert depuis l'aéroport très tard et les propriétaires.nous ont bien aidées. - Markus (9/5): - Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett, das Frühstück super. Man konnte in der Hitze gut unter der überdachten Veranda sitzen. In die Stadt sind wir zu Fuß gegangen- das hat allerdings etwas gedauert. Mit Sofia konnte man in Englisch über Dies und Das reden ( Englisch). Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

It had an old world charm to it and the host ensured that the stay was comfortable and cherishable. They made us feel welcomed and served us the most delicious Georgian cusine. I choose Sofia Guesthouse over hotels as i read the exceptional feedbacks from other guests and only can 100% confirm them and recommend to stay there! First, I arrived very late in kutaissi airport in the night and was picked up (with a fair fee) at the airport. I received a very warm welcome in the middle of the nicght. We agreed on breakfast on my favorite time and it was really good and authentic as well. loved it! And loved that on the one hand i had my complete privacy but when i wanted i was part of the family! The room with bathroom is absolute clean and very nice! Thanks a lot to the family and if i would be again in Georgia i will come back! Best Daniel
- Jeroen (6/5): Comfy rooms at a large suburban family home - Comfy rooms in a large family villa between the centre and the station. Reception is friendly, breakfast was served on the terrace and was excellent. Street parking was fine, a Bolt taxi to the city centre just costs around 2 lari. We were mistakenly given a smaller room than we booked for our first night due booked at first, but could move to the larger room and got refunded - annoying nevertheless. The smaller room has little space for bags and personal items, the larger one is fine. We had booked this location after several nights elsewhere with city centre noise, but unfortunately the neighbourhood dogs still woke us up here several times at night. The rooms had no curtains, only shutters that let though a lot of light in the mornings. The washing machine mentioned in the facilities is a paid laundry service. Guests need to be comfortable staying with a local family, the communal areas are shared.
