• Julia Qiwen (10/5): Beautiful apartment filled with quirky artworks - Exceptional location and decor, the apartment is filled with quirky artworks. The owner is responsive and a great help in sharing her best addresses in town.
• Jean (10/5): Artistically interesting. - Emanuela sent very clear instructions on how to get to the property and how to access it. She also gave lots of information on Modica and was extremely helpful with an onward stage of our journey. The apartment is well equipped for self catering and has very interesting artwork. Visitors need to be very aware of the number of steps to the property, you need to be fit for Modica and Freakhouse.

• Iuliana (10/5): - Un apartament foarte frumos, curat , ordonat cu o vedere superba atat ziua cat si noaptea asupra orasului vechi Modica.O incantarea , cu mult bun gust! Gazda foarte atenta si foarte placuta, chiar daca nu ne-am intalnit fizic. As reveni cu mare placere , foarte recomandat.

• Giuseppe (8/5): Freak Chic - Struttura ben curata, arredata con cura al dettaglio, davvero molto chick. D'avvero gentile la signora per le indicazioni su dove parcheggiare e come raggiungere la struttura, ma avrei avuto il piacere di sentila almeno una volta al telefono. Per il resto, tutto bene. Purtroppo devo dire che il terzo letto, non era per niente comodo, si trattava di una poltroncina d'arredo davvero elegante ma non adeguata per dormirci.
• Jana (7/5): - The apartment is located in a quiet yet very central area, you can enjoy stunning views from the balcony and it’s decorated really creatively. Several things in the apartment need maintenance (door to the toilet/ bathroom doesn’t close, pipes were leaking). The WiFi connection was so poor we had to switch to the mobile data from our phones, kitchen was not cleaned properly and towels were stained. We didn’t meet the hosts and communication was quick but quite impersonal. Would have been nice to not have to experiment with the key pad in the rain on our own, not have to dig the room key card out of a random drawer in the common area or get proper instructions on the wifi or the use of the shower (which was by no mean self-explanatory)

I loved everything about the Freakhouse. The hose was warm, extremely helpful, and the decor was unique and fun. I can't say enough positive things about this apartment, the host, and the town. I loved everything. No complaints.

Die Kommunikation mit Emanuela ist fabelhaft, ihre Tipps sind super. Von Bäckerei bis Restaurant alles gute Adressen!! Nichts

• Ilya (9/5): - We spent two wonderful days in Modica and in these apartments. The interior has been modernly renovated, and the kitchen and rooms have everything you need. The heaters in the bathroom were a particular plus. The view from the window is perfect; we travelled here especially for it, and we got what we wanted. All instructions from the hosts were given in a timely manner, and any questions were resolved immediately. They are very friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the atmosphere of the old town while staying in a super modern apartment. All the main landmarks are within walking distance. It was a little difficult to find the apartments the first time, as there may be differences between different maps.

• Bruno (10/5): Modica une ville magique. - Appartement très cosy refait à neuf, le point fort étant la vue imprenable sur Modica, mais cela se mérite car il faut gravir quelques marches pour y arriver. Nous n’avons pas rencontré la propriétaire, communication pas whatsApp mais nous avons reçu de bons conseils pour les restaurants. Attention pour les personnes à mobilité réduite le stationnement peut s’avérer compliqué

• PANAGIOTIS (10/5): An amazing flat with hard to beat views of Modica! - Ideal location for discovering Modica and the other towns in Val Di Noto. The flat enjoys amazing views of Modica and I simply couldn’t get enough of that balcony. The flat is freshly done, exquisitely decorated as well as appropriately equipped with lots of essentials and the host is very kind and extremely helpful at all times. I stayed in Freakhouse for a week and look forward to going back on the first opportunity!

Also the host was incredibly helpful and have clear instructions on entering! N/a - just note the property is up a couple of flights stairs if you are less mobile.

• Anna (8/5): Amazing view, nice host, good clean rooms but a few freaky hiccups - The view from the balcony was amazing, we enjoyed our morning coffee there. The bathroom was nice and the kitchen also. The owner gave us a lot of tips and recommended a few nice restaurants. Everything seemed new and clean! Sometimes it was freaky but not in a good way. The lamp in the bedroom worked once and then stoped working. We had only 2 tea bags and not enough toilet paper for 4 days and no room service so that was a shame. There was no curtain in the bathroom window so we had to use the towel to cover it. There are a looot of steps to get anywhere, that’s the charm and the curse of the location so if you’re not so fit it’s gonna be really hard. But the view is worth it! Overal it was a good stay and with a few adjustments it can be a perfect stay!
