Guest Reviews
- mark (9/5): - Comfortable well appointed property.
- Grove (10/5): - Exactly where we wanted to be. Great location.
Owner was so caring about our stay at Bodeinion. Really clean & equipped house. Thank you. Nothing.

- Wendy (10/5): We really enjoyed the house, the location and closeness to amenities - The location was perfect for us as we are walking the Wales Coastal path. There were shops and a pub within walking distance. The buses were also near us. The house was big enough for us, the kitchen adequate for our needs. The view from the one bedroom was stunning, we really enjoyed our stay there. I found the curtain in the master bedroom got caught in the bedroom door. The door was very close to the window.possibly a blind would be better there.
We also didn’t want the bother of the log burner so consequently it did sometimes not feel warm enough.

- Claire (10/5): Nefyn Gem - Incredibly well stocked, from salt n vinegar to loo rolls and washing up liquid. Every detail had been considered. Complimentary coffee, tea bags, sauces. Milk and wine on arrival. Excellent correspondence with quick, personal, and friendly responses from Virginia, not a generic holiday company reply. Parking was directly in front of the cottage. The beds were comfortable. Beautifully decorated and restored cottage. Very clean with lovely quality soft towels. It's the small things that give that little extra touch. We discovered a delightful local brewery, Cwrw Llyn, and a beautiful local beach just a short walk away. Photos of the brewery, Nefyn beach, and a tired dog at the end of the day. Nothing!! Perhaps bare in mind, it's a typical Welsh fisherman's cottage, and it's set over 3 levels (2 sets of stairs) if you have anyone who struggles with stairs, although stairs were easily manageable and straightforward.
- Peter (9/5): A welcoming and homely cottage with everything you need for your holiday in an excellent location. - The property had everything we needed and more. Outdoor space was limited but we knew that when we booked so it was fine for the 2 of us.
- matthew (10/5): Beautiful holiday home. - The house is beautifully decorated,. Has so many personal touches and is spotless.. That's really hard as it is lovely, I wish it was a little closer to the beach.
- Miki (10/5): Exceptional - Charming cottage in the heart of seaside village location. Very welcoming with great facilities. The surrounding area was beautiful with mountains, beaches, and lakes. We saw lots of wildlife including seals and rabbits! Perfect place to stay, weather could’ve been better but we had two sunny days!!!
- Philip (10/5): Exceptional - From the moment we stepped in the door it felt like home. It was a perfect base for our trip and I couldn't recommend it highly enough

We really appreciated the lovely welcome gift on arrival. We especially liked the wood fire! Nefyn is a wonderful place to visit. The duvets were a little too hot for us, so we welcomed the throws that were available.
- Matthew (10/5): Location: 10/10, cottage: 10/10, owner 1000/10!! Excellent - The location of the property is fantastic for exploring the Llyn peninsula, and is an incredibly cozy and homely cottage that was perfect for our little family. - C (10/5): Wonderful place to stay at any time of the year! - The house was cosy and welcoming. All the essentials and non essentials were provided including a little food if you arrive late, even dog treats. The kitchen has everything you need and more. We loved the log burner, including some logs, and the decorative lighting. It took a while to get the house warm but it was lovely once it was. There is plenty of space for two although six might be a bit tight, there are enough beds though. We didn’t watch Netflix…….🙈
There are plenty of good places to eat out within a few miles. (The Potted Lobster at Abersoch was amazing)
Looking forward to another visit. Inconsiderate parking by the neighbours, but there is plenty of street parking if this is issue as we did.

- Ollie (10/5): Perfect, perfect, perfect! - I absolutley could not wish for a better host, friendly, informative and genuinely just a really nice person.
In the months leading up to our stay, Virginia kept in contact with us and answered all our questions, including what there is to do in the local area, where we could park and what there was locally to eat.
Nothing was too much for her and we even received a generous, and hugely appreciated little welcome pack.
Virginia checked in during our stay to check that everything was okay, if we needed anything and was even kind enough to offer us a later checkout.
There’s probably so much more also! I just couldn’t do it justice.
The house it’s self had everything we could ever need, from boardgames and dvds for entertainment, beautiful coffee ready for the mornings. Speakers and sound systems and beautiful views out of the windows.
It was super clean and there was everything there that you needed to keep on top of the cleaning (so bin bags and things were readily available.
The location for us was brilliant, close to a few nice pubs, a few lovely food places and a cheeky kebab/pizza place within a 2minute walk.
The golf course was super close and even if you don’t play golf, what an experience that place is!
Overall a memorable few days and so much of that is down to Virginia and the house.
Now to convincing the mrs to join me next time. Haha! Nothing at all! :)
- Tom (10/5): Perfect - The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The host went above and beyond, the whole weekend was exceptional and will definitely be coming back soon! Nothing
- Alex (8/5): Perfect for a short break - Ideal location in the heart of Nefyn. Lovely clean property which was well equipped with everything we needed. Nothing
- David (9/5): Cosy and clean - Property is cosy and clean, close to shops & beach, has a big free car park really close by which was handy for our large van. Log burner was very nice in the evenings, host was exceptionally welcoming and we loved the welcome basket with snacks and wine! Great price for the service you get. We would stay here again no doubt.
