Jan (10/5): A fabulous relaxing retreat in the Japanese countryside. - Probably itself was fantastic- a real experience. Lovely to be out of the city for a while-relaxing. The owner was very helpful and went out of his way to help our group. As this property is an hour’s drive from Kyoto it would be easier if you had a car. However, there is a bus station in the vicinity or you can get a taxi, however that is a bit expensive. Nothing

Our host, Hino is superb...soo accommodating. - Everything....the view, the cleanliness, the house in general The road we used going to tehen is sooo narrow ...a bit dangerous i think...but Hino suggested another way which is also narrow but more acceptable.
