• Jay (1/5): - located near the rail station.. thats about it. this place has sketch vibes all over it. dark cramped and dingy. unstaffed and poorly maintained dark and dingy with a very sketchy feel. no reception or staff on site. claimed to not accept foreigners despite listing on booking. had to get a local to call staff who was rude on the phone. dont book this place unless you are indian used to underclass standards.

• Mohammed (1/5): - Nothing I had a very disappointing and unpleasant experience with my recent hotel booking. I had informed the property well in advance that I would be arriving late, around 5 PM in the evening. However, when I reached the property, I was denied a room and was told that the hotel was fully occupied. To my shock, I was also informed that my booking had been cancelled by Booking.com without any prior intimation. This was extremely frustrating and caused me a lot of inconvenience as I had to rush and look for another place to stay at the last moment. Such mismanagement and lack of communication is unacceptable, and I am highly dissatisfied with the service.

• Conrad (8/5): Very good - Functional male only dorm conveniently located for the Ernakulam bus station and the ferry over to Fort Kochi, served my purposes well because I had an early bus to catch so didn't want to stay in Kochi itself as the ferry didn't run that early It was basically fine but seemed deserted when I arrived, so took a long time to check in. They were alarmed to see me arrive with my friend who's a woman - she wasn't staying herself as she was catching a bus that night but they were quick to point out it's a male only place..

• Gregor (8/5): Very good - Good basic hostel in a great location. The bed was comfortable and the A/C inside the room worked properly. The staff is nice although only one of them was able to speak English. All in all it's a good value for money! I stayed there during the weekend and bathrooms were a bit dirty!
