- Rachael (10/5): Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. - Very comfortable, well equipped cottage in a lovely peaceful location, the welcome basket was a nice surprise. The village is a short walk away and it’s a great base for exploring further afield, rain or shine! Gael our host was friendly and welcoming.
It felt like a home from home so we’ve already booked for next year.

- Lizbeth (10/5): Could not wish for better accommodation in beautiful surroundings - Spotlessly clean, welcoming, spacious and everything to hand. Beautiful views and enjoyed opening the curtains to see the horses outside each morning. Gael, the owner, a lovely host. Faultless
- Melinda (10/5): AMAZING!! - Lovely deceptively spacious cottage in AMAZING setting & LOVELY host & family. Great outlook to pony field & further to hills; lotsa birds, coos, sheep, deer...
Lovely walks close by; nearby village; great centre point to explore Galloway. Good layout in clean cottage & with no unnecessary clutter! Lovely log fire; well supplied kitchen (& thank you - prosecco & fudge!); cosy; comfy beds with great bedlinen; handy 2 loos; plenty hot water for showering (& hand soap & loo roll supply!). We were lucky with great weather so didn't utilise interesting supply of board games, TV options & playstation, but did use Netflix & Prime video in evening. Great for our dog, but she was mostly onlead around cottage cos of livestock. But many beaches & places nearby for her to run free. One of the BEST cottages we've holidayed in (& great value too).
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - I cannot recommend this cottage enough!! It was like home from home, so lovely and welcoming and the owner Gael was really kind and friendly and she had put in a little welcome pack upon our arrival. The cottage itself was lovely and clean and had everything you need for your stay. The views are spectacular and our dog especially enjoyed the local walks. We will definitely be booking again.
