Guest Reviews
- Elizabeth (6/5): Nice but some unexpected interruptions. - Location, security At the time of my stay the owner, who lives in another section of the same building, was having renovations done. He introduced me to the tradesman who seemed like a nice fella, and said ‘ he had a bit of work to do’. Didn’t realise this would be 3 days of work. Luckily for me I was out during the days most of the time, as when I was home the noise of banging, sawing, plastering came thru the walls. It would have been nice to have this spelled out clearly, and a discount offered.
The tradesman was also working on an adjoining door which meant my side was not secure. If anything had gone missing, or was damaged, the tradesman would have been my first suspect. Not cool when you pay for private accommodation.
The gyprocking also sent dust under the door and through into my area which I had to sweep up or else it would have been carried all through my unit.
Unit was clean insofar as floors and linen goes, kitchen utensils and pans were obviously not well cleaned.
Expired sauces and dressings in fridge door.
Didn’t realise we shared a clothesline with owner.
