• Christoph (7/5): Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt gut. - Sehr gute Lage: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Discounter) in unmittelbarer Nähe der Ferienwohnung. Kurze Entfernung zwischen Ferienwohnung und Stadtmitte, zwischen Ferienwohnung und Jugendherberge, zwischen Ferienwohnung und Perlebucht. Unterschiedliche Restaurants in kurzer Entfernung (> 10 Minuten Fußweg) gut zu erreichen. Parkmöglichkeit vor der Ferienwohnung. Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung war funktional und pragmatisch und war für die alltäglichen Verrichtungen gut geeignet. Jedoch schien die Ausstattung dennoch etwas "lieblos" zu sein: Boden des Balkons rauher Beton, Balkonmöbel (Holzmöbel) verwittert, Balkontür nur lose eingebaut, ein im Verhältnis zum großen Wohnbereich sehr kleiner Fernseher, die Betten knarrten und quietschten, die Matratzen schienen aus-/durchgelegen zu sein, die Elemente der Duschwand im Badezimmer lose (ein Element zu viel und nicht richtig eingebaut), ein Metallwäscheständer an den Punkten der Streben und in den Gelenken verrostet. Einzeln betrachtet, letztlich Kleinigkeiten, die in ihrer Gesamtheit jedoch das Gesamtbild verschlechtern.
• Guest (5/5): - Die Unterkunft befindet sich direkt neben einer Großbaustelle (Neubau Rathaus; gegenwärtig Rohbau). Der Hausflur des Gebäudes riecht sehr unangenehm, leicht muffig bzw. zum Teil auch nach Rauch. Die Türklinke der Wohnungstür funktioniert nicht (schließen der Tür nicht möglich). Der Haustür- und der Wohnungstürschlüssel sind angelaufen und verbogen. Die Lampen in der Wohnung konnten zum Teil nicht genutzt werden (defekte Leuchtmittel). Die Balkonmöbel sind schon sehr mitgenommen (durch Witterung, Verschleiß). Wohnung wirkt in Teilen sehr abgenutzt, insbesondere verschmutzte Tapeten. Das Treppengeländer zum oberen Schlafbereich ist teilweise locker.
• Mike (8/5): Great space. Ideal for large family. - The flat is top floor in a larger house with many other apartments. No lift, plenty of stairs. Neither a positive nor negative, just saying. The pictures on the website are very complementary, the photographer should be congratulated on a fantastic job, highlighting the best features - lots of space, well lit, clean lines. We really liked the feeling of space. There were just two of us in there, but the flat could easily accommodate a family three times the amount (two double beds, two single beds, one cot, large living room sofa, one bathroom). Underfloor heating is amazing. WiFi was solid and parking not an issue (we were the only car there, room for 4 at a squeeze). Location wise, it's on the edge of where the action starts. Close to it, but not in it. Quiet, close to the train station, and close to where we need to be. Highlight would be the Muhlen Bakery, 3 min walk away (turn left as you exit property), with the best Brotchen in town. The agent is highly reponsive and proactive. Child-sized cupboards only, no place to hang a dress. Lacks a full height mirror. Pillows (all of them) were dreadful. Nothing defective about them (they are clean and not aged), just bad (no support, the filling just "runs away", and yes, we found the spares and they were all the same). The booking system is awkward. This seems how the market works, not specific to this property. After you book through booking.com, and the status of the booking is "CONFIRMED" on the app, you will receive payment instructions via email. You need to do a money transfer to a specific IBAN (in advance, in full) before the booking is ACTUALLY confirmed and you receive the keycode for retrieving the keys. The agents are very efficient at handling this, but responsibility is on you. You cannot assume the booking.com "Confirmed" status means you have a place to sleep.
