• du Toit (1/5): Very disappointed - The entire experience was a catastrophe and booking.com were unavailable to assist The accommodation was not ready for our arrival, the host was unreachable and we were left stranded in a town we do not know. Booking.com had no real person to lodge a complaint with or to communicate with. I except and insist on a full refund. I had to search for alternative accommodation and pay again.

• Gertze (7/5): Cozy, pleasant, comfortable, safe and wholesome. - The ease of obtaining the house keys and feeling safe within the premises. Couldn't take a shower due to geyser linked to solar panels, so we all opted to shower at the club house on day 2 instead, luckily we all are golfers. Host were to indicate geyser setting upon arrival.

• Hollie (5/5): - Very spacious and worked for us because we were a family so it didn't matter that the main bedroom was in the middle. Had all amenities you could want and location is very central. Good value for money. We found a kinder egg and empty red bull can under the bed upon arrival which must have been missed by the cleaner. Had some minor difficulties in communication to get the key as the owner was out of signal an the garden had the key to fix something, was resolved

• Pierre (5/5): Good if you need a place to sleep for the nigh in Robertson. - The parking was nice and big in the yard. It’s well located in a safe part of town. I like that there were trees in the garden especially for how hot it can get in Robertson. The photos make the house look bigger than it is inside. The living room is actually part of one of the bed rooms. You have to go through the first bedroom to be able to access the second bedroom. Same goes for the bathroom. To access it you have to go through the first bedroom right past the bed. It’s not the end of the world but I would have wanted to know this before I booked. Luckily we stayed with family otherwise it would have been terrible. It’s very much hostel vibes considering the layout. What made it feel like bad value was we had to pay a cleaning fee but there laid ice cream sticks and lolly pop sticks under the garden table when we got there. Not the end of the world but it’s enough to leave a bitter taste in your mouth.

The shower ran out of hot water quickly

• Marion (7/5): Hosts are trying but it didn’t work for us. - They tried to sort out some of our issues. Very central to restaurants. Huge bed in main bedroom. Kitchen facilities. Freezing cold and only one small heater. All the rooms are separate and whoever sleeps in bedroom 2 has to walk through bedroom 1 to use the bathroom. Bathroom is a long way in the night. Noises from the roof when windy, doors rattling. Pictures of property were misleading, too many disjointed rooms, doesn’t flow. The hosts should spend a couple of nights here to see the problems for themselves.
