- Tom (10/5): Best accommodation close to Cotopaxi and Volcán Corazón - We had a very nice stay at Mateospaxi! Aracely is such a nice and helpful host and does everything to make your stay the best as possible. Everything is very clean and well maintained, the rooms are comfortable and there is a nice outside area with views on the volcanoes. There are 3 little dogs which are very cute! If you want you can also eat there, Aracely cooks herself :) overall very recommended and for us the best option to stay close to Cotopaxi National Park. Ah and there is also Volcán Corazón close by, you can do it as an acclimatizing hike for Cotopaxi. It’s very nice and not crowded at all and Aracely can get you all the information to do it on your own! Thanks a lot!! :)

El hospedaje esta muy cerca al accesso por el parque y tambien el bus a/ de Latacunga. Cocina grande y tambien opciones de pagar el desayuno/ cena si quiere comer sin salir. Cuarto muy bien tamano - espacio para todo el equipaje pero sin quedarse grande para calentar. Cama y almohadas comodas. Lo mas limpio que he encontrado todavia.

Sie haben uns eine Tour für insgesamt 70$ für einen ganzen Tagestrip mit Guide zum Cotopaxi und dem Nationalpark organisiert, was fantastisch war. Das Grundstück ist super gemütlich und schön. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und süß. Man kann die Küche, mehrwre Wohnzimmer, den Garten und eine Sonnenterasse mit benutzen. Es gab außerdem heißes Wasser in der Dusche. Wir empfehlen es auf jeden Fall. Es war wirklich alles fantastisch, nur die Küche war nicht ganz so super und vollständig ausgestattet und es gab dort keine sauberen Tücher zum Abtrocknen oder wischen.

Elle a été super accueillante et elle a fait preuve d’une gentillesse remarquable ! Elle nous a donner beaucoup de conseils sur Cotopaxi et a pris soins de nous durant ces 3 jours. Elle fait son maximum pour vous trouver la meilleure option au meilleur prix et vous fait sentir comme à la maison. Elle a plusieurs chiens qui sont des adorables. C’est le genre d’endroit et de personne qui font du bien ! Nous recommandons vivement !! Rien tout était parfait !

- te Dorsthorst (10/5): Beste Cotopaxi verblijf - De service van Aracely was echt geweldig. Zo attent! We maakten haar wakker om in te checken (we waren te laat), maar was meteen zo gastvrij en legde alles lief uit. Het eten en de tips die ze op elk moment deelt zijn geweldig. De tour naar cotopaxi was zo geregeld, met een gids die een vriend van hun is. Het was veel goedkoper dan in de stad of bij de ingang een gids meenemen. We kregen leuke informatie en hij bracht ons naar alle highlights. Het was een prachtige dag om de conische vulkaan te zien, dus we hebben alleen maar genoten! Het was wat kouder dan verwacht, maar we hadden heel veel dekens en daardoor werd het weer knus. We kochten een muts en handschoenen voor $5 elk, waarmee we warm naar de cotopaxi konden!

El alojamiento es limpio, hay cocina y se puede hacer fuego en la chimenea de la sala común. La habitación tiene muchas mantas para el frío. Si se pudiera en la habitación pondría algún calentador, ya que a pesar de las mantas es fría.

Disponibilità massima e gentilezza assoluta da parte dei proprietari. Colazione abbondante e servizio lavanderia a qualsiasi ora. grazie I letti nella camera mansardata erano molto duri e difficile dormirci. Inoltre in questa camera c'era un po' di umidità che rendeva la notte molto fredda. per il resto tutto molto bene. non posso dire nulla sulle altre camere sicuramente più confortevoli

Tiene una cocina con todo lo necesario para preparar algo sencillo y agua potable para el consumo. Aunque no es culpa del lugar, al hostal llega un olor a humo durante el día, debido a que en algunas fincas alrededor queman leña/basura. Fue lo único incómodo, ya que no pude disfrutar de estar en la zona verde por mucho tiempo compartiendo con los perritos por esa razón.

The lodging was very comfy and I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The couple who ran it were very friendly and welcoming. Also, the dogs who live on the property are SO cuddly and sweet and they really helped with missing my pup from home! The water was a bit chilly, but I learned a key tip- in Ecuador, you have to only rotate the faucet 1/4 of the way to get the hottest water!

Es un buen lugar para descansar, la habitación estuvo perfecta para lo que necesitábamos y llegar al lugar es muy fácil con las indicaciones del Host. Lo mejor es que te permiten llevar mascotas y puedes estar a gusto, tienes implementos y cocina para preparar tus propios alimentos, patio para lavar y zonas para estar. Recomendado 100%.
