• Derrin (10/5): Perfect room for an overnight stay. Would definitely stay here again. - The room was very neat and clean. The shower is spacious and more importantly, it was hot. Everything is well maintained and working. It is perfect for overnight stays. We could hear the people next door watching TV and talking.

• Dean (10/5): Fabulous - Fabulous overnight stay at Featherhouse. Host was very accommodating with my 19H30 arrival time and met me at the guest house on arrival. Room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend Featherhouse in Colesberg.

• LLBrown (1/5): No negotiations on Check-In time and Cancelation policy - Cant say , as i didnt stay. I called the host, asked if there was any possibility of me checking in slightly earlier as i was a solo traveller who had just driven 9hrs and just wanted a place to drop my luggage whilst I went out to get Lunch and explore the town then return at the set check-in time which was 3pm as it was my first time in the area. He refused, I then proceeded to cancel the booking however the cancellation policy didn't allow for a refund. This policy should be looked into as i paid for a service that I didnt use, even if it was just to allow me a safe space for my Luggage and camera equipment as i feared that it would be stolen from the vehicle. Im sure the CPA would beg to differ regarding this policy.

• Nombulelo (9/5): Obvious choice for Colesberg, amazing!! - The owner was amazing and very supportive. They enabled a self-check in process as I was arriving very late, which was a very smooth process. The accommodation is very nice, clean and easy to locate. This place is a great choice for Colesberg.
• Vernon (9/5): Well situated - This was our second stay. We'll situated behind Plattelander Restaurant and a few hundred yards from Bordeaux Restaurant. Secure parking. Clean room with en-suite bathroom. Good place for overnight Cape Town to Johannesburg. Will return.

Dogs over the wall barked all night. Family in adjacent room made SO MUCH noise at 6am nobody could sleep after that. So inconsiderate of other travellers on their holidays

• Lerato (9/5): A nice comfy room with parking on site. Definitely worth it. - The room was pretty comfortable and spacious. It had a designated parking space for the car. The guy who I dealt with was quite nice. The bathroom had a bit of an odd smell and the bedside lamps were not plugged into any outlets.

• Shanaas (10/5): A lovely little place perfect when stopping over in Colesburg - The place was beautiful. The rustic look and the tiling in the bathroom loved it. The place was perfect for a stop over. It had everything you needed. I would definitely book the place again. Winter is very cold, although there was an aircon for heating it took very look to heat up the room. An electric blanket for the bed would have been great or at least a small 3 panel gas heater would have been great.

Check-in and check-out was effortless Staff was always friendly The place was clean enough The lack of sinks in a self catering accommodation was a bit problematic as we had to leave the plates out which was not ideal. The walls of were't white sound proof so we could hear the tv from the other room which was not ideal while trying to sleep. Our bedside headlamps had burnt light bulbs. The furniture is a little dated, could do with some updating. The parking area was problematic because of the trees in the way.

• ismail (8/5): Value for money accommodation - Very clean unit that included all the basic facilities that was all in working order. Desmond was there to receive us, very professional. The location was not easy to find, but Desmond provided directions. Also parking could have been covered.
