Mohd Razif (10/5): Understated grand colonial living 5 minute away - Chic elegant accomodation...you have the Kandy feeling of green and yet 5 minute away from centre Galle.
Peter (10/5): A very personal & emotional experience . It became our home - The historic property built in 1712 , offers the most remarkable views to the sea & the UNESCO Galle Fort Interiors sublime , a mix of Dutch Colonial with a contemporary cut thru . Wonderful art with a library of Design & Art books The house is situated in an acre of garden , pool hidden at the bottom of the garden . Dutch netted beds , 10 inch mattresses monogrammed linen , the room scented with Jasmin Staff naturally attentive , breakfast under a shady rose apple tree beautifully laid , Sth Asian touches in all the menu choices . Better could have been the choice to have stayed longer Sri Lanka is very hot at this time of the year . Being high on the hill overlooking the sea means there is always a cool breeze We decided to have dinner on the lawn in the garden which was lit with flares , the breezes in the evening incredible . What a setting !
