• Hattie (10/5): A wonderful ryokan experience with exceptional service and the most delicious food. - There are not enough superlatives to describe the exceptional stay that we had at Asadaya. The service was out of this world - every single interaction with the wonderful staff was characterised by the utmost care and attention. The food was sensational - each dinner (kaiseki) course was a work of art, both visually and in terms of taste. We also enjoyed delicious Japanese breakfasts each morning (there is a western option available), and matcha and Japanese sweets before dinner. The rooms are traditional, extremely calm, and spacious - with a private garden. There's also an onsen where you can book a slot. And Kanazawa is a wonderful place to explore. We have not stopped thinking about this place since we left and I honestly cannot recommend it enough. We cannot wait to come back! Everything was perfect.
