Guest Reviews
- Cavaney (6/5): Backgarden camping - The Tent was spacious and with fresh bedding. The main bed was comfortable and warm to sleep on. The fairy lights are a great idea and keeps everything well lit near the tents and walking around.
The fire pit is great and you can cook away till your heart is content. Everyone gets one to use.
The shower is amazing which is great but if people are in there you can be waiting some time as there is only one.
Nice field that children can run around on.
They do provide chairs if you ask for them. The host was lovely and inviting. I didn't like it that we were like in a back garden than in a field. There was not a proper toilet. It is one compost toilet which is not shown on the photos which is not a made clear. Which should be and i dont think we should pay that price if you haven't got a proper toilet. The sink is further away for washing up by the shower, which is annoying. If people dont wash up the plates the are using till the next day there is not enough bowels and spoons for breakfast. Which happend to us the day we left. The barbed wire around the gate is not put on well enough and we got caught a few times, so this needs to be looked at.
At the top of the tent it looks dirty which I personally don't like. The bedding for the children kept falling off so they didn't sleep great. Sleeping bag would be better idea on a camping bed. The fridge was not clean and after he cleaned it, still was not clean so I did it myself. The was a flat bread toaster thing there that was filthy, probably still is. Think it needs to go in the bin.
You are on a hill so everything is on a slope.
Glamping is more than camping and you pay more for the luxury. I don't feel we had this. Not even a carpet in the glamping tent/ pod.
- Carly (10/5): It was quiet clean and comfy - the host was amazing and couldn’t do enough for us
the bed was a great touch as it was lovely and comfy location was unusual but it was a lovely little get away we all really enjoyed it. Nothing
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was so helpful and friendly. He went above and beyond to help.
The facilities were extremely clean, there was a kettle, and toaster. The showers were excellent and we had a lovely stay.
- Sophie (4/5): I would of loved it, if it wasn't on a hill. No one got any sleep. Not an ensuite bathroom -Portaloo - I liked the bell tent and the bed was very comfy. The area was okay. The host was really nice and warm and helpful. The main issue for me was that the tent was on a hill so the bed was tilted, which made sleeping was very difficult. The tent should be on a flat. Also the description of amenities was not true. the toilet was a portaloo, and the shower is in a garage building at the front of the driveway and it is shared with all the guests. The advertisement says ensuite bathroom which it wasn't.
- Colin (9/5): Amazing host and beautiful setting - Excellent host, coudldnt do enough. Beautiful setting and the tent was set up brilliantly. Fire pit was awesome. Shower was clean and powerful. Dog friendly and very clean. Facilities for kitchen were very basic, onky a fire pit to cook on, and the toilet is a portaloo. If all tents had been full it would have got busy, but was fine while we were there.
