Guest Reviews
- Alison (10/5): Fabulous accommodation. Hosts were amazing. Thank you for your hospitality. - Open spaced, comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Beautiful views across Dartmoor. Nothing
- Ellie (1/5): - We arrived at the property but unfortunately found it to be in an unclean condition, including hairs in the bed, stains on the sofa, dirty floors, dust, and dead flies on the windowsill.
Due to this, we did not feel comfortable staying and left after approximately one hour, arranging alternative accommodation.
We raised this with the host but were unable to reach a resolution.
- Eric (10/5): Like a home from home and we were treated like family by our hosts, such an amazing property and generous hospitality. - Very clean, comfortable and perfect location. Our hosts were amazingly friendly and helpful. Thank you both from us and everyone you have helped in your local area. We loved everything.

- helen (9/5): Just what we required, a really peaceful break left us both feeling fully refreshed. - The property was exactly what we were looking for, secluded and quiet no distractions to spoil the ambience. The layout was just right, open plan with an abundance of room, large bedroom so no shuffling between bed and other furniture like in lots of other places we've stayed, bathroom space also in abundance. Really likeable couple who we met on site, very pleasant and helpful. Overall it was money well spent.. N/A

- Tina (8/5): Very good - Despite arriving quite late, we were greeted with a warm welcome. Obviously, the views and scenery are outstanding. The house was much bigger than it looked in the pictures. Nice touches, jug of milk in fridge, spare pillows, and fan in the bedroom. The peace and tranquillity were delightful. Coming from the city, we loved waking up to see deer roaming outside the window. The bed was soft and comfortable and the place had good facilities like a T.V. radio, books, puzzles, and a card game to play. Very well equipped kitchen. Decent shower with plenty of hot water. The shower door was a bit stiff.
- Hannelore (10/5): Exceptional - The property was spacious and at the same time cosy. The host very helpful. The bed very comfortable. The kitchen area well equipped.
Beautiful views and very quiet . All in all good value for money.
Hannah The navigation leads you through narrow country lanes but l believe this is quite normal in Devon. There was no traffic at all when l travelled.
- Carl (9/5): Oasis of Calm, LP - Views; shower very good; space good; very nice hosts and dog. No room, service but many good dreams in a very comfortable bed and pillows to die for.

- Peter (8/5): Very good - Fine views. Accommodation was generally comfortable though it would be nice to have a reading lamp near the sofa.
- Leanne (10/5): Great little stay - It's a beautiful open plan area with everything you could require. Very quite area which was lovely. It was very clean and tidy. The host welcomed me and my daughter when we arrived, which was nice since it was dark. Parking right outside the property. Bed was lovely and comfortable, had tea and coffee, and hot chocolate and milk available. This just all adds to the home like feel. Nothing, it was spectacular.
- Cj (9/5): Beautiful, comfortable, peaceful. - A very comfortable cozy cottage that had everything I needed, although a power point within reach of the sofa would have been nice :) The hosts were really friendly and helpful, could not have done more to make my stay all I hoped it would be. It was a bit too hot for my taste when I arrived, but I'm being really picky there.

The hosts are friendly and accommodating (even making sure their was milk for a cuppa on arrival) extremely good value for money, a must book if you’re wishing to stay anywhere near here Everything was perfect
