Guest Reviews
- Jennifer (10/5): Fabulous stay in a lovely, charming house. - The location was excellent, on a quiet street just off the main road close to shops, cafes and pubs. The kitchen was large and well stocked, the bedrooms were clean, well presented and very comfortable, the living room was cosy with a real log fire and large selection of board games and books which kept the family entertained during a stormy day. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive and went above and beyond to help when we accidentally left something behind at the property. The stairs and changes in floor height made it slightly challenging for the older members of our party, however they still hugely enjoyed their stay and we would all happily stay here again.
- MICHAEL (9/5): - The location is excellent, the host was very helpful and. The property is spacious snd comfortable.
- Mary (9/5): We had a wonderful stay. Family celebration for a big birthday. The house worked perfectly, everyone - The property is much larger than imagined, the photographs do not do it justice, it’s a very comfortable house , with a lovely open fire. The location is fantastic, and parking for two cars in the rear, We think the lighting could be better, the kitchen work surface lights didn’t work, More lamps needed! The en-suite shower is erratic and probably needs attention
- Helen (9/5): Amazing location, beautiful and comfortable cottage! - Amazing location, beautiful character cottage. Very comfortable with great amenities. We came up for a family wedding and loved our stay - Mike was a great host and the village is so welcoming and friendly with great cafes and bakeries! We were very grateful for the comfy beds, hot showers and fluffy towels!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
- Jennifer (9/5): Super property in brilliant location. - Brilliant location, generous property, spacious and welcoming, great host.
- Helen (9/5): A complete get away so relaxing in a super wee village. - Loved the location and the village and the aga. And the games and well stocked kitchen.
- Peter (9/5): Fantastic old building in a super friendly wee town - Fantastic old building which had everything you needed for our stay. All was great
- Rosemary (8/5): Very good - Plenty of space for the family group to enjoy. Close to shops, bakery and restaurants.
Proximity to lovely walks in nature. Window in main bathroom kept rattling during the night. It required us getting up many times to try and fill gap with cardboard. Which didn't help all that much.
- Stephanie (9/5): Fantastic short break. - I had organised with the host, where and when to get the keys.
- Esther (8/5): Very good -
- James (9/5): Great house in a central setting -
- Jane (9/5): Dunkeld was a hidden gem and the cottage an ideal base. - Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Well equipped kitchen. Large lounge with log burning fire and comfortable seating. Large dining room and table. Ideal for families. Free parking at rear. Shops and restaurants within minutes walk of the property. All is which offered great food and supplies. Close to historic areas of interest. Rear entrance into house from the car park was dark at night and would benefit from a security sensor light.

- Anne (8/5): Very good -
- Jennifer (10/5): A charming cottage in a superb central location. - This charming and spacious cottage is very centrally located in Dunkeld. There are restaurants and shops within a couple of minutes walk and the Dunkeld Cathedral and riverside walk is 5 minutes from the cottage. The host Mike was extremely helpful and generous. We loved the AGA!
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Mike was incredibly helpful.
Springwells was very comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. It is brilliantly situated, just a short walk from all amenities and some stunning walks. Dunkeld is a lovely place with lots of places to visit, lots of history, and an interesting heritage trail. It has lovely cafes and a few lively, friendly pubs. We were attending a wedding at Dunkeld House Hotel, which is a beautiful setting for a wedding and literally a stones throw away from Springwells. All in all, it was a perfect long weekend away. Thank you Mike. Nothing
- Tommy (9/5): Had a great weekend and would definitely use the house again. - Fantastic location right in the centre of Dunkeld. Easy access to all surrounding facilities, and great start point for walking. Loved the house, but the stairs are steep for anyone not steady on their feet.
