Guest Reviews
- Judy (6/5): Comfortable - Great room. Private sitting room and bathroom.
- Hilary (10/5): A high quality personal small guest house which we really appreciated - Very lovely service of breakfast and from such kind and helpful people. Quality establishment with cool areas and lovely art works and books - very much a beautiful place with a WILD GARDEN that is enchanting. Kare could not have spoilt us more!
- Dinky (8/5): Love the Highlands. - Karen and daughter were lovely and knowledgeable regarding the local area and places to visit. Willing to pick up from airport but do check for price. As my friend and I don't drive we found the location a little far out. Local bus service finishes early, although taxis are reasonable. Takes about 35 mins to walk to town centre. Do not rely on last bus as ours didn't show and we discovered this is a common occurrence.
- Sue (6/5): Good size but basic room very clean but expensive for what it was - Location good for Inverness
Room was a good size and clean
We had our own bathroom Very basic room not enough furniture nowhere to put anything only one bedside table for a double bed
No dressing table only 2 power sockets and one of those was under the bed
Breakfast expensive at £17 we didn’t have it
- Jean (9/5): Very good all round. - Lovely stay ,helpful and friendly host.
- Fricker (3/5): Disappointing and quite expensive for what it offered. - The bed was comfortable. The sofa bed (for my daughter) had no bed linen. There was no TV or table to eat at so we declined breakfast, which was just 'continental' anyway. I feel bad about writing a poor review but with some improvements it could be a good place to stay.
- Mary (7/5): Enjoyable, but toi far out of the City Centre - I liked the large and comfortable space the accommodation offered, particularly the little sitting room. Bed was comfortable, very clean and orderly. Not clear that it was a long way out of the City Centre - taxi expensive and nowhere to get an evening meal nearby. Also charged £12 for breakfast, which I was not expecting. No tea or coffee making facilities in bedroom.
- Anne (10/5): Brilliant - Penelope, Karen’s daughter looked after us. Our stay was very comfortable and our breakfast just lovely. Thank you.
- Samuel (10/5): Hidden gem - Friendly host, warm and welcoming, beautiful interior, comfortable bed
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (8/5): Karen was extremely professional and gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area. Great meals available u - A very nice sitting area. Bedroom was adequate. All very clean and refurbished. No fridge and no TV.
- Zeemon (8/5): Very good -
- Noah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siyang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keiron (8/5): Enjoyable and relaxed - The accomodation was very clean, comfortable and cosy, Karen was a great host who looked after us well.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Helen (10/5): Helpful friendly and knowledgeable - so relaxing quiet and so accommodating and scrupulously clean We had an early ferry to catch but the reviews from breakfasts were great maybe next time nothing
- Olivier (10/5): Exceptional - Karen is very easygoing and respectful. I recommend this stay to everyone. The price is right and you have plenty of privacy even if it’s a B&B. Best stay in Inverness 💛🏴
- Pinja (10/5): Do yourself a favour and book this hidden GEM! - - I booked very last minute - and I am so glad that I did, this was the perfect finish to my Scotland trip
- Firstly, the flat is very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated with thoughtful small touches like a cup of tea to greet you on arrival
- Above all, Karen is a wonderful host - if you can, you should book one of her dinners for a truly unique Scottish culinary experience!
- Recommend 10/10 - look no further if you are planning to stay in Inverness :)
- Eman (8/5): A culinary adventure, especially for our teenage son. - Karen is a bona fide chef with a wide and deep knowledge of cuisines both Scottish and otherwise. We enjoyed the meal and good company and learning about the regional cuisines of Scotland. The dessert was something extra special. Unfortunately, the location was double booked and we were not actually able to stay overnight there. However, the owner kindly arranged for us to stay at another location nearby, called Langdale Lodge. The lodge was pleasant enough but rather small for our family. W
