Guest Reviews
- Marlene (9/5): Lovely, walm and welcoming home with lovely and friendly hosts. - Lovely hot breakfast, lovely hosts. Very warm and welcoming environment. You do have to travel to any village or town so plan well. Set in beautiful countryside, quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend
- sylwia (10/5): - Everything was petfect, Bumpy rural roads
- Pam (8/5): Lovely hostess, house & views - Lovely hostess, fantastic view, excellent sitting room & good breakfast.
Hot tub & pool available - though we weren't staying long enough to make use of this.
All very clean & nicely furnished/decorated. Two stepped areas within the bedroom, which concerned me for bathroom visits in the night.
& I don't consider a bathroom to be private if you have to leave the bedroom & walk along a mezzanine above the open plan entrance hall, which has uncurtained (barn conversion type) windows each side - even if the house itself is not overlooked. Thankfully we were the only guests staying

- Liz (8/5): Churchlands Bromyard - Dressing gowns for going along passage to bathroom. Lovely room for siting and a large room for breakfast on ground level. Host talked with us which we enjoyed Great view. Flight of stairs in converted barn OK for us but we didn't check as we can manage
Arrive in the daylight as BnB is down a lane and turn left.
- steven (8/5): Comfortable stay in lovely house - views are spectacular over open countryside - Excellent breakfast, lovely hostess who was very welcoming and helpful
- Deborah (10/5): -
- Robin (7/5): -
- Michael (9/5): Relaxing stay wirh beatiful surroundings and very nice hosts - Breakfast was lovely beautifully cooked, with cereal abd pastries etc.
Swimming pool was great as was the hot tub, and the views were something special Would have preferred downstairs bedroom because of my mobility issues but it had been taken.
Also normally only go for ensuite bathroom but the bathroom on our floor was for our use only so fine
- Katie Chambers (10/5): - I had such a lovely stay at Carol and Terry’s cosy B&B! Carol kindly prepared me a delicious full English breakfast at 8am as I needed an early start the next day. I’m especially grateful to them for going above and beyond by dropping me off and picking me up from a wedding venue when no taxis were available—twice, including after 1am! Their kindness and hospitality made my stay extra special. I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you both!

- Robert (6/5): Lovely views over the countryside. - The pool was welcome on a hot day after a long drive. Very difficult to find and needs “What 3 Words” address so that it can be found or some sort of direction sign from the narrow lane.
The property and garden needs maintenance as does the wooden garden furniture.
The bathroom isn’t en-suite and is over a first floor walkway across the open hallway.
- Katrina (8/5): Stunning location, lovely host... - Communication was exceptional and we were warmly welcomed. The setting is breathtaking and we both loved the design/ambience of the hosts home. It was wonderful to enjoy the pool and hot tub, breakfast was very generous with lots on offer. I wouldn't say we 'didn't like' things but there are things to improve which our host spoke about and is aware of eg: maintenance and updating required.
I didn't manage to get the shower past a trickle.
- Carol (8/5): Very good - We enjoyed our stay. Carol was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

- Christine (9/5): A very nice break in excellent surroundings - Very comfortable stay. Carol was very welcoming. The breakfast was very good . The pool and hot tub were an excellent addition. Nothing
- Maggie (8/5): Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely location and excellent value for money. - Beautiful rural location with great views. Ideally located for going to the Bromyard Folk Festival. Good parking for vehicles. Our host Carol was welcoming. Very warm, clean and comfortable room en-suite. Lovely residents lounge and dining room. A good generous breakfast.
- Rosina (8/5): Carol was just a lovely host! Really felt I like I just gone to stay with family! - House is lovely and the views are stunning, shame we didn’t we didn’t get more time there Nothing!
- Michael (8/5): Great comms, warm friendly reception, a lovey pool and an excellent breakfast. #Reccomended - our host was wonderful, friendly, but not invasive, kind, willing to help in every way.
the views were stunning
the pool though small was most welcome in deed
breakfast included good value - im allergic to dust so one night at a time seemed sensible
- Catherine (9/5): Lovely long weekend away - We loved the location of Churchlands as it was out in the countryside so very peaceful. Our hosts were fantastic - friendly and hospitable. Our room was fairly small but had everything we needed and the wetroom was great! Breakfasts were delicious. There were a lot of cobwebs in the room but that didn't really bother us - it's that time of year!
- Boggle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patrick (10/5): Churchlands like Graceland - Great location,super people,lovely breakfast
Thank you
Patrick Webb OBE
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Asghar (9/5): Superb -
- Gareth (10/5): Host was brilliant and so helpful , breakfast was great and had a lovely stay - Lovely property , really good facilities with pool and hot tub , perfect countryside views and area
- Andrew (6/5): Lovely secluded b&b - This was a last minute decision we was visiting the gumball hill climb event nearby & looked up nearest b&b,
Was pleasantly surprised when I received a message asking if we would like the pool heated & also apologies as hot tub was being replaced,
Eventually we found the accommodation & was greated by our host who directed us to our room a little bedroom with on suite just of there personal kitchen.
There was a menu for breakfast which we filled out what we wanted & time so that was nice.
The accommodation was in a lovely secluded location with a lovely view.
Breakfast was made to order fresh and lovely Sadly as lovely as the accommodation is it would only be suitable for 1 night minimum the bed was low and hard, the bedroom Dusty and full of cobwebs behind head board & in need of updating (my personal opinion )
Also we could hear the washing machine at times .
The location is secluded and the nearest place to ear is 3 miles away, you would need to travel if needing any supplies etc.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sue (7/5): Peaceful location - Beautiful location, very peaceful & friendly host.
- Keith (10/5): Very convenient to where we were visiting. - It was just like being at home Nothing
- Janet (4/5): The double bedroom which we occupied was generally grubby, it appeared that the room had not been cleaned for some time. - Location was very good. Cooked breakfast was lovely. Cleanliness was very poor, carpets dirty and dusty surfaces. Shower water pressure was low.
- Susan (8/5): Peaceful location near Bromyard with heated pool and hot tub - Lovely heated pool and hot tub. Peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Excellent breakfast Nothing
- C (5/5): great host but certainly requires a little investment and updating. Hope that’s fair to say😊 - Carol was a lovely host, very polite and helpful. The hot-tub was great and very relaxing! We didn’t have a bad stay at church lands at all but it certainly requires some updating. Firstly, we did not use the pool as it was quite dirty. Showering after the hot tub (which was great), was an awful experience as there was near 0 water pressure and the bathroom as a whole needs completely updating. The pillows could do with some better investment. The Tv is mounted to the wall fitted facing the door, so we couldn’t watch anything.
- Emma (4/5): Disappointing -
- Nadine (7/5): Good -
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Warm and friendly welcome, comfy bed, beautiful views. Fantastic breakfast, great value WiFi signal is poor
- Eleanor (6/5): Pleasant - The setting of the house was beautiful, and it was great to have use of hot tub. Thank you for allowing an earlier check in too I’m afraid the room and bathroom could have been cleaner. The carpets in both rooms needed a good hoover to remove hair
- Matt (9/5): Relaxing, chilled and nothing too much trouble - Tricky to find but a gem when you are there. Nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. We had the run of the place as we were the only guests that night so pool, hot tub and lounge area all to ourselves. Very relaxing place to be. Nothing, we were only on an overnight as we were visiting friends the next day before our main holiday. Is tricky to find, TOM TOM had no idea where it was but Google maps on the phone straight there...
- Abigail (7/5): Good -
- Christine (9/5): Excellent short break - Location was very good .The property had a pool and hot tub for use by guests. The breakfast was very good and the owner Carol was excellent and very helpful Nothing
- Danielle (8/5): Very good -
- Smith (7/5): Good - comfy .outlook stunning ..lovely lady
- Eleri1983 (10/5): Can't wait to stay again - Fantastic location. We were warmly greeted by Carol and she made us feel very welcome. My son loved the pool, and breakfast was yummy. The B&B is superb and the room had everything we needed. Carol and Terry even got my son a birthday card which I thought was such a lovely gesture. We will definitely be staying again.
- Anonymous (10/5): Lovely, homely stay at Churchlands! Thank you for the homely touches and much needed cooked breakfast after a wedding at -
