The street gets slightly loud in the morning when the shopkeepers start their day but not too much of a bother for us.

• Bryan (1/5): - Bellambra found me another hotel to stay at although I would have never chosen it myself because of its star rating. I reserved and paid for 2 rooms for a stay at Bellambra Oct 4-6, 2025, through Booking.com in Sept 2024. The night before arrival at 11:20PM Bellambra messaged me only one room was available but anyway, see you tomorrow. I did not see this message till I was on the train on my way to the hotel on arrival day. i was also told not to worry as I would be refunded. At the time that was the least of my concerns. I needed 2 rooms, not one. Although I asked, I was never told why or how this happened. It was infuriating and everyone I have told agrees. Bad policy but at least I've learned where not to recommend for hotel accommodations in Monterosso al Mare.

• Giuliano (10/5): - Oltre ad essere un posto stupendo, l'accoglienza la simpatia la disponibilità di Lorenzo hanno fatto di contorno ad una struttura veramente confortevole pulita situata in una strada centrale molto comoda e al tempo stesso silenziosa. Dotata di un arredamento molto carino e fornita di ogni confort. Da tornarci sicuramente. Anche se non ha dato particolarmente fastidio metterei una mensola nella doccia dove appoggiare la fantastica fornitura di bagno schiuma e shampoo.

Lorenzo was very friendly at check in helping us with luggage and explaining everything. Small issue with the air conditioning unit leaking water all over my luggage and clothes.

• Bastian (10/5): We loved our stay! - We loved our stay at Bellambra. From the outset, our host Lorenzo was extremely nice, accommodating, and very helpful. We needed to do laundry when we arrived and he immediately walked us down the street to help us get set up with a local laundromat (whose owner stayed late after hours to finish our laundry). The rooms were very clean. Loved the bathroom. Good shower. We stayed with our 2 teenagers, who fit ok on the pullout bed. Perfect location in the Old Town, close to a bunch of restaurants. Highly recommend this place! AC wasn’t strong enough to keep us cool at night in the 90 degree heat of August! However the fan provided definitely helped.
• Orth (10/5): A fantastic place to stay in Monterosso Al Mare - The owner was one of the most kind and genuine humans I have ever met. He was very helpful and very funny. The room was also very clean and cozy. I could not be more happy with this booking. As for the location, it is great. You can walk right outside and there are amazing restaurants. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, and the water is crystal clear and very refreshing.

Lorenzo was warm & welcoming - he is a gem with great stories & fabulous recommendations (if you go to his friend's restaurant 'Il Casello'- make a reservation! Excellent food and location but don't expect to walk in). Our room was comfortable and clean. There was champagne to welcome us, and conveniences such as a beach bag & beach towels for guests. Be aware, you will need to climb stairs to reach your room, and walk your luggage a short distance into town from the parking garage (if driving in).

Very central location with plenty of restaurant options (and wine bar!) at the doorstep - couldn't be more convenient! Functional apartment for our family of 5 with comfortable lounge area for some downtime and full kitchen for at home meal options. Supermarket only 1 minute away and easy walk to train station and beach. This apartment is in the best part of town - and in our view the far best of the 5 villages. Nothing - all positive reviews from us!

We rented all 4 rooms, which was nice, however it would have been great to have a kitchen or common area to gather/sit as a group. The rooms are close, so you do hear next door. It was hard to find in the dark. A description of the skinny green door and a bigger sign might have helped. I had to leave early and the stairwell was dark and dangerous. Thankfully I had a flashlight on my phone. The quilt was dirty.

Monterosso Al Mare is tiny, and not much is open in winter, but this lodging is perfect for the town. Very comfortable space, good heat, nice bathroom. Bottle of champagne and tea for the evening was a nice touch. There was a lot of construction happening in the street outside the windows, so there was quite a bit of noise. Not the fault of the hosts though.

Very secure with an extra locked door to enter each floor. Host came down to us upon arrival, showed us around, very helpful. There was also a fridge and tea-making facilities. Plenty of linens, etc. Would absolutely return and recommend. A few stains on upholstery.

We enjoyed the hiking, in Monteroso. The food was exceptional, I The recommendation for Miky was wonderful and we would go back in a heartbeat. Also just one step to the left of our entrance door was an exceptional little restaurant, Enoteca, that had great coffee and warm croissants in the morning, great sandwiches, wine, and beer during the day and evening.

• Hannah (10/5): Wonderful, lovely bright room in a great location (right on the Main Street). Loved it. - Big room and very clean, lovely decorations. Great location in Monterosso and host was very friendly and helpful with advice about cinque terre walking and restaurant recommendations. Hairdryer and adapter in the room which was super helpful! The only thing that could potentially be done is a blind or curtain on the main bedroom window to minimise light in the morning and privacy etc ( although the view wasn’t public). It wasn’t a problem for us because we like being woken by the daylight and privacy wise the angles of the bedroom were ok but a blind would be a good addition.
• Susan (9/5): Perfect location for a relaxing stay with an amazing welcome from the cheerful host who is clearly living his best life. - Centrally located. Nice amount of space. Clean. We had a little snafu with the bed one night but the host came over quickly to fix it for us. Also when coming from the train with luggage walk thru the tunnel don’t go up the stairs (wish we’d been told this)
