• Yasmin (7/5): - La atención del personal fue muy buena con nosotros, se preocuparon bastante y muy atentos. La ubicación era muy lejana al parqueadero, tuvimos que caminar como una hora con la maleta en la playa lo que fue muy incómodo

• Nicoletta (7/5): Bello ma selvaggio, serve adattabilità - Posizione straordinaria praticamente sul mare, per chi vuole passare le giornate coi piedi nella sabbia ma con una buona dose di adattabilità. Scarsa comunicazione da parte dell'host: su booking è segnalato parcheggio disponibile e il proprietario ci ha detto che c'era un parcheggio pubblico...ma quello che non viene detto è che non c'è nessuna strada che arriva all'hotel, il parcheggio è quasi 2 chilometri, a pagamento (salato se siete stranieri, più onesto se siete colombiani) e per arrivare dal parcheggio all'hotel o si cammina sulla sabbia con i bagagli oppure si prende una lancia,, anche questa a prezzo diversificato. Non dovete farvi domande sulla pulizia: penso che il pavimento della stanza non abbia visto uno straccio negli ultimi dieci anni. Nella doccia non c'è un soffione e neanche un piccolo specchio in tutta la camera. Nessun controllo sul silenzio alla sera…. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un ragazzino che non trovava la prenotazione, non si ricordava di portarci e asciugamani e carta igienica, non ci ha dato informazioni sulla possibilità di cenare presso la struttura (ad agosto alle 7:00 è tutto chiuso).

• Macarena (10/5): - Nos encantó el trato de Oscar que estaba reemplazando a Héctor , nos ofreció unos tour muy lindos para ver el plankton y los mapaches y nos encantó la estancia en el lugar , muy conformes y todos muy simpáticos.
• Luis-felipe (1/5): Worst booking experience ever - Nothing Pretty bad experience with Ecohotel Hector. Despite having a reservation and having communicated with the hotel several times beforehand, when we arrived at the property, we weren’t able to get the keys because our room had already been given away. The only response we got was that they were very sorry, but it was not possible to fulfill our reservation. I was really upset, especially because they didn’t inform us in advance — and we had traveled all the way from Cartagena by boat, which wasn’t cheap. They didn’t even try to find a solution until I became very insistent. The only option they eventually offered was a room with a bathroom in a hostel, which was not nearly as nice as the one we had booked. We accepted because we had no other choice, but it was disappointing, especially when all we wanted was to relax and enjoy our vacation.
• Marina (10/5): perfect location to escape from the busy Cartagena, good price - Directly on the beach, from your terasse you can go directly to the water, choose a sea wiew room with private bathroom, you have your private free sunbeds, umbrella both on the beach and the terasse free of charge. Do not expect anything fancy it is not a hotel but a simple wooden cabana, ideal for taking a shower and sleep, you receive exactly what you pay for. It is not easy to arrive and not well described or explained. There is no road to these beachfront establishments. If You arrive to Playa Blanca last parking place on mainland, you have to go down to the beach and either walk 40 minutes in the sand/water, or pay 10.000,- COP / person (aprox.2 EUR) for a "lancha", a boat that takes you to your place. We used the boat, because we had heavy bacpacks, plus we took our own drinks from the mainland because on the playa everything is double or triple priced.
• Juliane (9/5): Nice place on the beach. - The staff were super nice. Very friendly and accommodating. The room is very simple but right on the beach. The only things that I have to say is that it's a 30 min walk down the beach if you take a taxi etc. Try to take a boat. Also there's no convenience store to buy stuff. So bring your own if you need to. Food and drinks are expensive.
• Claudio (10/5): Exceptional - Clean hostel at a affordable price, free Wi-Fi, also will borrow the kayak for free.
• Kyu (10/5): Relaxing, mostly because it’s located away from the crowd in a more secluded area. - Anderson the host is very kind and helpful, made our stay very comfortable. For the price, there’s nothing not to be liked.
• Bharat (9/5): Wonderful stay at the Eco Hoterhector! - The wonderful location and exceptional staff members, Anderson, Dona Luz and Sebastian who were all very helpful and friendly and accommodating. Nothing not to like. Everything was great!
• Munro (7/5): Good - Breakfast was good, typical for Colombia. Playa Blanca is crazy/busy from 10-4, with many tours coming in. Nice and calm the rest of the time.
• Sui (9/5): Superb - Anderson and the lady chef took good care of us. The last thing I heard before falling asleep and first thing I heard when I woke up were the surfs. We arrived in the dark due to a mixed up at the airport. Leaping off the lancha in the dark with our luggage after travelling all day came as a shock to us. Luckily Anderson carried our bags for us. Arriving by boat to the hotel's front porch appeared to be the only option. The hotel is located away from the busiest part of Playa Blanca. The included breakfast was adequate. All of our meals and drinks for 3 days were also from the hotel which we enjoyed. There is a mini-mart few minutes south of the hotel that carried all the snacks we wanted. We loved their plankton trip. The staff, including the young man who came with Anderson to pick us up were friendly and always patient with us. I agreed with the other reviewers that the shower and faucet in the room have very slow flow. Anderson also booked us the return boat trip to Cartagena, which turned out to be cheaper and faster than our arrival trip. Be warned this boat trip was a hair-raising experience. There was an applicable credit card surcharge to the room cost, which was not mentioned or reflected in booking.com when I made the reservation.

• Carina (10/5): Amazing place with terrific location. - The place is very basic - like all the places on playa Blanca. This place is definitely one of the best looking places around - in the more quiet area of the beach. Electricity only in the evening and no running water. Decent Wi-Fi. Fantastic location just at the beach. The view from the rooms with sea view are terrific. The rooms at the back are with no windows - go for one of the front rooms. There are Sun beds at all levels. Anderso is amazing - exceptionally friendly, service minded and accommodating. The food is good and reasonably priced - try the grilled fish. They can arrange tours to Isla Rosario and plankton tour. We really enjoyed our 4 days there. Very busy in weekends with lots of boat traffic and jet skis making it difficult to swim.
