• Alena (10/5): - The location is absolutely stunning. The house is situated in a beautiful historic village with an amazing genius loci. There are several bars, small restaurants, and charming local shops nearby - everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was furnished with great taste and felt truly charming. The view from the house is breathtaking, and the staff were absolutely wonderful: friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. We received a voucher for breakfast at one of the nearby bars. While I usually prefer a continental breakfast, we were perfectly happy with a cup of tea and a small snack.

• Aurelie (9/5): Le charme à l'italienne - Le logement est parfait, très propre. Et le vrai charme à l'italienne !! Et Lari est un beau village Attention au petit déjeuner. Nous avons été au Ro Ma, adresse indiquée par la propriétaire. Le concept est bien, vous avez un ticket pour une boisson chaude et 1 pâtisserie (car il ne se prend pas au logement). Mais la valeur est de 3€. Il faut donc rajouter de l'argent pour le petit déjeuner, alors que sur Booking ma réservation était petit déjeuner inclus. Il faudrait donc revoir la valeur avec le bar. Par contre le personnel était charmant et les croissants bons ☺️

Great location, although the town is completely deserted in the off-season, and it may happen that none of the restaurants are open. Still, there is something magical about this time, and staying in this apartment intensifies that feeling. Very helpful owner.

All'interno del borgo di Lari vicino al castello. Ideale per una pausa dalla frenesia moderna. Da raggiungere in auto, ma abbastanza vicina a Pisa. Comodo parcheggio appena fuori le mura del borgo. Buona la colazione al bar del paese.

The room is very comfortable and the bed was heaven to sleep in. It's also very peaceful and quiet and the view in the morning is breathtaking. Top value for money and I would stay here again any time. One of the hidden gems in Tuscany!! Nothing! Beautiful place

Lari ist eine sehr schöne kleine Stadt mit einigen Cafés und Restaurants, sowie kleinen Läden. Besuch bei Martelli ist ein Muss. Mit Parkplätzen sieht es schlecht aus. Aber das liegt nicht an der Unterkunft.

• Alec (7/5): A more immersive experience of Italy than an hotel in a city. - Great location in a quiet, classic hill-top Tuscan village, but with enough of the essential attributes, shops, bars, restaurants etc. Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment. On-street parking in very close proximity was a bonus. Within easy reach of Pisa, such that we were able to visit Lucca too before flying home. Breakfast was off-site and decidedly basic by British standards (a token per occupant to be redeemed at any one of three bars/cafes covered a coffee and pastry each) but more disappointing was the lack of internet access. Perhaps the result of a misunderstanding on our part.

• Thomas (10/5): Das Herz der Toskana - Die Lage in einer historischen Ortschaft der Toskana ist sagenhaft. Abseits der Touristenströme hat man alles, was das Herz begehrt. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die nördliche Toskana zu erkunden (ein Auto vorausgesetzt). Es freut immer wieder, wenn man nach einem ereignisreichen Tag zurück kehren darf. Man kann auch einfach ruhige Tage in Lari verbringen. Es gibt mehrere Bars und Restaurants, ein Lebensmittelgeschäft, zwei Metzger, eine Eisdiele etc. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war ebenfalls freundlich und problemlos. Eines der zwei Betten im Appartement hat eine zu weiche Matratze, aber das ist subjektiv :)

Voor het ontbijt kregen we vouchers welke we om de hoek in een lokaal etablissement konden inleveren, erg handig! Het contact met de eigenaresse verliep via what’s app en was zeer gemakkelijk! Pisa is goed aan te rijden vanaf deze locatie…

We loved the little village and enjoyed the prettiest sunset from the castle that you can easily walk up to from the b&b. We also enjoyed the delicious pistacchio croissant for breakfast.

• Roswitha (5/5): Für eine Nacht nur zum schlafen ok. - Für uns war es nur eine Nacht und da war die Lage entscheidend. Es hat zwar eine Kaffeemaschine gegeben, aber leider nur mit gebrauchte Kapseln. Weiters wurde das Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht. Doch es hat leider nur einen Gutschein gegeben der beinhaltete ein Getränk und ein Gebäck. Das würden wir jedenfalls nicht mehr buchen.

Frühstücksgutschein für die Bars in Lari. Self-check-in bei später Ankunft möglich, sehr netter Kontakt über WhatsApp und alles verständlich erklärt. Wir würden wiederkommen!

• David (10/5): For us this was a real ‘find’ on booking.com - we had been recommended to go to the village of Lari and this property pr - It was a magical arrival really - our host had sent instructions but contacted again around the time if our expected arrival with detailed instructions helping us to park in a nearby location and find the property - entering a courtyard through the wrought iron gate we went up the outside stairs to our particular room. This large room with a great view was beautifully decorated in traditional Italian style - something of a gem. Everything beautifully clean and tidy with adjoining bath room with walk in shower. Nothing to say here - it was close to perfection!
