- Georgie (7/5): Lovely Property but very poor management - A lovely property in a great location to explore all that the beautiful North Cornwall coast has to offer. Lovely and quiet setting and the layout of the property is excellent for families. It was generally well equipped in the kitchen, the rooms were comfortable and the living spaces were great. Sadly the management team for the property really let it down. We reached out about a couple of issues and none of them were sorted. The out of hours contact had no idea about the property and claimed to not service it. When we finally received a reply from Luxury Coastal they were unhelpful and in the end just ignored our emails. The main gripe we had with this property was the fact that no gas was provided for the gas bbq. The bbq area was a huge driving factor for us booking this property but we arrived to find the gas cannister empty. When we asked Luxury Coastal to bring some more gas round they said they don't provide it. No where on the property description does it say that guests are expected to provide gas. In all our years of renting holiday homes we've never had to provide gas. Coals, yes - but gas? It seems crazy. A set of bedsheets had a large hole in them on arrival - we also flagged this and expected it to be replaced but it was ignored again, meaning our son slept on a sheet with a huge hole in it. All of the outdoor furniture was covered in spiders webs, which towards the end of the weeks stay we wouldnt mind, but to arrive to it like that was disappointing. It's such a shame as this property is amazing but if you have any issues whilst staying there, you absolutely cannot rely on the management team to support you. We're just grateful that none of our issues were major or an emergency. But they did have a lasting impact on our stay.
- Janet (10/5): Fabulous family stay at Trebyre - Great location just outside Padstow Countryside setting with fully enclosed garden - so perfect for the dog & children Very high quality accommodation with very comfortable beds and excellent bathrooms Couldn’t fault the facilities - especially loved the amazing outdoor BBQ area
We loved our stay here Very easy to get to Padstow & Rock, Harlyn Bay & the Pig Restaurant, The Eden Project and a lovely wine tasting venue just down the road.
Luxury Coastal were an excellent company to deal with and the staff were every helpful & professional.
We are definitely very likely to book this accommodation again in the future Our only issue was that it would have been helpful to have more waste bins in the bathrooms and a non slip mat for the showers.
