• renaldo (10/5): - Παρόλο που οι γονείς μου δυσκολεύτηκαν να βρουν το κατάλυμα επειδή δεν γνωρίζουν να χρησιμοποιούν GPS, ο κύριος που έκανε το check-in ήταν εξαιρετικά εξυπηρετικός. Βγήκε ο ίδιος έξω, τους αναζήτησε και τους βρήκε για να τους βοηθήσει να φτάσουν. Πραγματικά έκανε το κάτι παραπάνω για να εξασφαλίσει ότι όλα θα πάνε καλά. Κατά τα άλλα, το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καλή επιλογή, vfm, καθαρό και άνετο. Συνολικά, πολύ θετική εμπειρία και σίγουρα θα το προτείναμε.

• Leslie (10/5): Choose Opora, but not on the days I want to stay. - The room is just steps away from the ferry, my host waited for me to arrive and introduced me to the amenities, the apartment is spacious, the mattress is super comfy, the bathroom and kitchen are well stocked, I walked in bare feet and the floor was sparkling. Returning for a third stay in a few days. Can't think of a single thing to improve.
• Maria Marina (8/5): - Really beautiful accommodation, with attention to aesthetic details. Plenty of natural light, especially considering the building is in a narrow street. The host was very accommodating, quick to answer, polite and caring. Excellent location for fast and easy access to the port and all of Ermoupolis. Very clean and tidy. Luxurious linen. Big beautiful bathroom. Overall spacious. Capsule espresso machine and complimentary capsules, tea servings and bottles of water were provided. We loved returning to it every time, we would totally choose it to stay again. We stayed for 3 nights. They weren't deal breakers for us, but maybe you'd want to consider: if you have sound sensitivities/sensitive sleeping, the sound proofing is not excellent, which is understandable considering the age of the building, and probably the case with many other similarly old properties. You may hear sounds from upstairs, the churches' bells ringing, and you may feel some vibrations of the windows when a big boat arrives at the port. The street on which it is located is generally quiet, though. Also, keep in mind that there is currently no way to heat food and/or cook within the property, which of course is visible from the photos if you pay attention.

• Carlota (10/5): Confort en pleno centro de Ermoupolis - Me encantó este apartamento perfectamente ubicado frente al puerto pero a la vez en una callejuela resguardada. Está decorado con mucho encanto y tiene los utensilios necesarios para una estancia cómoda y agradable. Su dueño es encantador. Totalmente recomendable.

• Holly (8/5): Nice place for a short stay in Syros. - An ideal location close to the port and the waterfront, only a short walk to markets, bakeries, and more. A comfortable bed and welcoming space overall. As noted in other reviews, the steps are quite steep. Not a problem but something to be aware of. We also found the couch pretty uncomfortable.
• Leslie (10/5): Idea location, super comfortable, helpful host. - Our host waited for us at the main road, he heated the water before we arrived, he introduced us to all the features of the home and offered an extra hour without asking. Excellent service. The location immediately opposite the port and close to all the features of town was perfect. Oh, and the mattress...a great night's sleep. The WIFI did not appear in the list (not a password issue). I did not contact the host, but I am sure he would have responded quickly.

The apartment itself is stylish, spacious, and well-located. But it's the human touch that truly sets this place apart. If you're looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, I wholeheartedly recommend this gem.

• Aimilia (9/5): A great experience in a spotless clean, centrally located apartment! - The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is great. Very close to the bus station that takes you to the beach but also within the lively city of Ermoupoli. You can go to many restaurants, bars and supermarkets/stores within walking distance (5-10 minutes). Communication with our host was also very easy and helpful with recommendations on where to go and what to do in the city. Only drawback was the lack of soundproofing and also blinds that could make the room darker. Some noise is expected when centrally located but not very suitable for light sleepers.

• Surita (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment is amazing, our host Theros waited outside when we arrived. He gave great advice about the island, restaurants, beaches and transportation. The apartment is beautifully decorated and clean with a great kitchen and living area. I highly recommend Opora, we enjoyed walking and going up the stairs to Ano Syros and Asteria Beach. It is very close to the ferryport which is great if you travel early in the mornings or late in the evening.
• Ashley (10/5): Amazing location and spacious apartment :) - I loved how spacious the apartment was. There was more than enough space for a couple. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities we required for our one night stay. The host phoned us the day before to arrange a check-in time and he was able to accommodate us for an early check-in. The host was so kind and helpful answering any questions we had! The location was amazing, 2minute walk from the port…. Only a small set of stairs to walk up maybe 10 steps? If we ever revisit Syros, we will definitely be staying here again :) Thankyou for a wonderful stay! We liked everything :)

• Jude (9/5): Superb - Spacious, perfect location, very clean, well organized had everything we needed, Good wifi. Just the ac is a bit too far so it can be a bit warm when you sleep :) A bit noisy in the morning from people walking by or ferries arriving since its right next to the port.

The communication with the host was very good. It is the ideal place to visit Ermoupoli and enjoy this beautiful island.
