I had problems with my passport and they changed the dates so I could change my dates for the stay with my girlfriend!! I had ordered flowers and they left them in my room and also decorated the bed with petals and swans!!! The views were amazing and the animals so cute!!! 100% would recommend and I’m definitely coming back!!! Thank you very much! Gabriel
Amy (8/5): Perfect for a 1-night work stay - with bonus animals :) - Loved the location - really easy for me to get to work event at the nearby arena. Check-in was easy and I loved that my room overlooked the water: I spent ages watching the fish! Room was a great size and had everything I needed in it, too. Easy to let yourself in and out with the codes provided. Really loved all the animals at reception - made my stay!!! My full name being on the key (with room number) left for me - as a woman travelling alone I'd have preferred something a bit more secure as when I arrived two other male guests handed it me while they were looking for theirs.

C (8/5): Good location for a conference I was attending nearby in Coventry, great value for money. - Greta value for money and a good location for a conference I was attending nearby in Coventry. Take away food and restaurants all easily accessible. Folk should bear in mind that the waterside nature of this accommodation does mean that it was quite damp - this did not affect me personally, but it might if someone had any respiratory health concerns. There was a (rather scary) water drip through the overhead shower light fitting (room C24), but only when the shower was running on my second night. I tried to report this at reception at 0800 when I left, but it wasn't manned until 1000 and I couldn't get through on the phone line until much later in the day when I had a free moment (when I was told I could have used the intercom instead, but this wasn't obvious and I was in a hurry on departure) ... the person I did speak to said they would arrange for the fault to be investigated asap.

McKenzie (10/5): There's value for money, and then there's this place - Amazing value for money, nice and very large room with lovely private balcony overlooking the lake. Really nice and peaceful. For what I got I would have expected to be charged twice the price quite honestly. Some of the gadgetry was a bit style over substance - I was trying to find the bedside light switch in the early hours and managed to trigger some sort of weird disco effect multi-coloured light show that I then spent ages trying to work out how to switch off!!! Oh and the duvet was very thin - if you like a very warm bed then you might want to carry a blanket with you. But really, this is a superb place.

Nicola (7/5): Quirky! - The lady on reception was fab. We had an issue on the day of arrival and she took it seriously and dealt with it swiftly. She was also great with local knowledge and referred us on to a good pub a mile or so away. We liked the place, it was totally quirky especially with the animals outside. Thank you! We liked the fact you could purchase fish and duck food if you wanted to. There were elements of the place that looked rather tired around the accommodation and site and apartment walls are a bit thin, I guess that can't be helped. Generally it was a fun place to stay.

Laverty (2/5): Very disappointing & dirty - The view from the room was lovely, petting animals on site, bed had towel swans make up which was a lovely surprise, ducks geese and fish swam right by out door mini fridge in the room The smell of mold in the room as soon as we opened the door, mold on the inside of the door leading to the decked area, dirty window cobwebs all over the room, dirty bath, stained carpets some of the lights in the room didnt work all kinds rubbish around the lakes including a pile of burnt beer cans, broken glass wood plastic piles of rubble looked like years of rubbish so couldn't walk around the lakes, , no food or drinks available on site told takeaways deliver, very disappointing all round, such a shame because with a bit of time, effort, care & love this would have been a really nice romantic getaway i would of recommended to everyone but unfortunately my advice is don't waste your money!

Stephanie (9/5): Lovely place to come and unwind. - Nice views and wildlife. Hot tub suite was great. Comfortable bed and linens. Room cosy and all amenities there were good. The animals at reception are very cute. We were given an earlier check in and all was ready. After a mix up with bookings we were offered a hot tub suite at a discounted rate. The room adjacent to us were having a party after 10.00pm which is clearly listed as quiet time. However, staff were heard addressing this promptly and professionally. People come to stay here to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings so this was appreciated.
Matthew (4/5): Not great! - I was working nights and there was lots of building work next door to my room. I had the 'Do not disturb' notice on my room door, but clearly this didn't matter. The hotel itself is very dated and a poor standard. 2*

Lijten (3/5): Blij dat we maar 2 nachtjes hadden geboekt. - Digitale wekker naast het bed. De kamer was heet, stonk naar dode beesten, vloer van de lodge stond helemaal bol, deur naar (afgesloten) terras kon niet op slot. Wij waren er in april, moet er niet aan denken hoe het er in de zomer is.

Kate (5/5): Could be lovely but lacking things but animals fantastic to see - The animals and the lake. The location No cafe restaurant open , no receptionist ,no staff member about , the repairs in room that wanted doing and the handyman nice man but clueless at DIY. Door wouldn't lock and when he came out did not fix it and it was so damn cold in room as door did not shut properly. Also tv in lounge coming off wall on slant could not watch it. Tea /coffee area dirty kettle and toaster did not use. No where really decent to make anything to eat. If the website says restaurant open it because loads of people staying there were moaning and no one around to sort anything and no breakfast No mattress protectors on bed or pillows mattresses dirty and look not good enough to sleep on

Alison (7/5): - The room was spotlessly clean and aesthetically very nice. The tea/coffee station was great, with plenty of milk etc, and it was handy to have a microwave and a fridge. The fridge, though small, chilled all my water and soft drinks quickly. The lighting on the bathroom mirror was perfect for doing skincare and make-up. Many hotels only have overhead lighting so this was much appreciated.There was also a nice mix of lighting in the room. The bed was comfortable. The outside space was pleasant enough. The lady on reception was helpful and pleasant though the reception area was a bit untidy with a packet of animal dewormer on the reception counter. Shower pressure was good. As you sell drinks with metal tops, maybe have a bottle opener in the room or offer one. Very quiet and relaxing. Nice to see the animals. The bathroom door has been hung very badly (A7) and wouldn't close easily. Once closed, it would immediately swing open. Not an issue for a solo traveller for me but might be a problem for others. Once i had noticed that, i couldn't help but see all the poor finishes throughout. The door hinges are badly recessed, the door hasnt been fully painted, the silicone round the tiles on the basin has been badly applied, and the flooring has been cut badly round the bathroom door frame. There are a lot of fancy light switches in the room but it might be better to spend less on gadgets and more on finishes. I couldnt work out how to switch off the outside lights. They did eventually go off but came on again a couple of times through the night and disturbed my sleep. It would be nice to have a chair in the room and also a luggage rack. I dont like putting my suitcase on the bed so had no choice but to put it on the floor. I had turned the thermostat down as low as possible as i like a cold room for sleep. It was still very warm and i discovered in the middle of the night thst the bathroom radiator was pumping out heat. The one in the main room was off. Maybe some instructions would help? In the morning i had a shower. The water was lukewarm at best. I had the dial turned all the way up to hot.I wondered if it was because i turned the thermostat down so turned it back up and tried the shower again. Still lukewarm. Very disappointing. The body wash was almost empty. Also, a plea. Rain showers are all very well but, as a woman, i dont always want to wash my hair and a rain shower head gives you no option. Please consider the women and have a normal shower head too.

Sada (10/5): - We come here every year twice a year for birthdays. We love it. This time we stayed in the private suite with provate entrance and outside seating area. Great value for money and peaceful. Always clean, beds super comfy, walk in shower is brilliant. Love how you can feed the animals. We love it. And staff are very friendly. Nothing to dislike.

Arabia 1 (7/5): - We were there two years ago and it seems a bit more run down but I am unsure if they are renovating it. The room was clean but the restaurant wasn't opened foe breakfast No breakfast

Kate (9/5): Quiet, calm space. Would return. - Location great. Close to motorway, however country vibe. Easy check in, very friendly on arrival. Spacious room. Funky lighting options. Handy microwave, crockery in foyer of cabins if you need it. Very comfy bed. Good linen. Lakeside decking to sit and watch the ducks and geese. Also great to see happy pig, alpacas, goats on the way to reception. Not much that didn't like..the only thing I found was the duvet was incredibly thin. I have a 1 tog summer duvet at home and it was like that. I was actually cold in bed as had no weight to it. No spare blanket or anything in the wardrobe. It did drop to 3 oC that night. But id suggest a better duvet for the bed. I couldn't ask at reception as they had closed early due to being a bank holiday.

Eileen Turley (6/5): - Room was big The bed was very uncomfortable, the door leading out onto the decking was very hard to open & when the door was shut there was a gap down the side, letting alot of cold air in the room, as it was very windy when we stayed. There was no fence or barrier at the end of the decking, a child could easily full in the water. The tap in the bathroom at the sink was all wobbly and very lose. May seem like little things, but they can matter.

Jefferson (9/5): - Lovely clean room. We had a lovely stay. At reception it say Bar. There is no bar and no resturant. That needs to be addressed. By taking the signage down. 10 till 6 reception is open. We tried at 5 closed?
Keisha (6/5): - I liked the location and the staff were friendly. Check in was nice and straight forward I had two bookings, in the family room 10 it was very unclean. The door of the living area was broken so the smell of the horse manure was very unpleasant and we couldn't really sit in there. Cob webs and spiders all over the ceiling too. The room room was fine and clean 🙂 some positive feedback- you really need a small fence up on the rooms that are leak view as its a little dangerous i feel and I could not of stayed in that room with 3 children.
deborah (10/5): A little slice of peace - This is not my first or my last stay here. This is where I go when I need a break and some peace and it's all of that and more. I always leave after one or two nights feeling like I've been on holiday, it's exactly what the Dr ordered. Clean, spacious, peaceful and excellent value. Having to leave.

Neil (8/5): Lovely for a night to recharge - This is the 2nd time we have visited and found it nice, relaxing and very quiet. My main issue was with the cost of the room with hot tub i expected it to be more private and upon arrival we noticed 2 fishermen facing our room and we was in full view whilst relaxing in the hot tub . They were looking over at us until they left at approx 7pm.
Amy (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing stay - It’s the second time we’ve stayed at the waterfront lodges it’s one of our favourites, so peaceful and relaxing will be staying again Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms are lovely and love relaxing by the lakeside

Mahmuda (8/5): Would book again, great for the price - It was beautiful, it was lovely and comfortable We stayed in a10, it was nice and private but the living room had the backdoor, which had a big bush with loads of flies and insects and a very weird smell, we didn’t really open the door but there was a gap and the living room just smelt, no amount of air freshener could get rid of.
