• Alison (8/5): great time was had by all! - comfortable, good location, quiet, clean felt a little bit tired and smelt a bit damp. Basin in the ensuite didn't drain properly and shower felt very tired too.
• Yas (1/5): Avoid if you can - Very close to the amenities Had Netflix and Disney Host is easily contactable Not clean. There were 2 throws in a basket near the sofas. At the bottom of the basket there were used tissues and waste. It was shocking! The washbasins were dirty. The bed was not comfortable and the bedding were very old cheap and worn out. I think it was a small double bed. No parking. When we came back to accommodation in the evening all the roads were closed and no parking was available due to a carnival. We ended up getting a parking ticket! It was in a basement. No fans and was very hot. No flexibility in check out time This place is located furthest from the ferry terminal. Run down town. We paid £540 for 2 nights. Absolute waste!

• Joanna (8/5): Very good - Property was really clean, good size rooms, lovely decor, good heating, instant hot water. Great location to beach and town. The was a musky damp smell to the place, especially in the living room. Damp / mold patch on the master bedroom ceiling.
• Annie (9/5): A tranquil well equipped home from home with a touch of luxury - I loved every thing about this property, beautiful interiors, peaceful, relaxing, great location and very very well equipped. The owners are super responsive very helpful very friendly and generally lovely. It’s hard to fault it to be honest, the mattresses didn’t provide the best nights sleep for the weary adults but it’s a small thing really in an otherwise superb rental

• Meenu (9/5): Superb - Great location. Very close to beach and other shops and restaurants. One of the few properties I found on the island with 2 bathrooms and did not have stairs inside. Majella was an exceptional host and booked our ferry tickets at a discounted price. Very prompt in her communication. The welcome wine bottle was a lovely surprise.

• Varun (9/5): Fantastic place and great host - The location is great and only a short walk from the beach. Majella provided help with the ferry over and clear instructions on how to get to the property. It was easy to find free parking nearby. The property was very clean with big spacious rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. The decor and lighting make the place even more comfy. Would highly recommend. The only disadvantage of the property is that it is a basement flat which means natural light and ventilation aren't the best but not a major issue either.
• Anne-marie (8/5): Very good - The location is absolutely perfect right in the town center! The accommodation is spacious and well laid out. The host was really helpful, kind and communicative. Only two of the four heaters were working within the flat and it was a little cold at night in the basement. However we had not asked the host for help and they could have probably fixed it for us. The bathrooms could have been cleaner especially the showers. Two of the bedrooms have small windows in which you couldn't escape in the event of a fire - just something to think about if you are safety concious. Overall it's good value for money so we would still recommend :)

Nice comfortable beds and sofa. Would definitely go back. Situated about 1-minute walk from the beach. Nothing at all.

• Stephanie (10/5): An amazing stay at a beautiful and cosy apartment, perfectly located. Highly recommend! - This apartment was just perfect for our family. It was lovely and cosy and the owner went above and beyond to make sure our stay was extra special. The location of the property is ideal, and we walked down to the beach in less than 5 minutes. The rooms were lovely and tidy and the owner, Majella, had clearly put a lot of effort into making things extra special for us both when we arrived and through her contact with us during our stay. A true home away from home, we didn't want to leave!! Would highly recommend!!!

• Carlin (8/5): A perfect stay on the Isle of Wight. - Very comfortable stay in a well equipped little apartment. We had everything that we needed. It is close to the beach and to town of Ventnor. It was easy to walk from the apartment to different locations. It is in a quiet location. We enjoyed our stay. Although everything was reasonably clean there were some things that could have had a bit more TLC - like the kettle for example. We had to give it a good descale before we were happy to use it. Overall it was clean enough to be comfortable.
• Nicola (9/5): Great basement flat with all amenities on the doorstep: beach, shops and restaurant. A great place to explore the island - Nice location and well furnished. Majella was very helpful and responsive with ferry ticket discounts, car parking advice and even a welcome bottle of wine! The en-suite didn’t have an extractor fan and this may have contributed to the damp feeling in the master bedroom? No outdoor space for a group to sit.

• Steven (8/5): Very nice accommodation. - Very comfortable & spacious. Well appointed, all things you'd need for a good weekend break. Parking is limited as no on-site parking but manageable.

Property well maintained . Hosts very easy to contact . And they went out their way to organise us a discount on the ferry crossing prices . No key ring on the door keys . But this can easily be rectified.

The interior of the apartment was beautifully decorated and had wonderful furnishings which suited the character of the building. The extra bits like towels, bedding and washing up liquid etc...was an added bonus. The apartment was definitely in a great location and would definitely use it again in the future.

• Estelle (9/5): A brilliant place to stay if visiting Ventnor, perfect location and host! - This is such a lovely place to stay. We visited IOW for a few nights with our 2 kids (age 6 and 1) and Ventnor was the perfect base - all of the activities and day trips we wanted to do were within a 20-30mins drive. Everywhere in town (to eat and drink) was very welcoming and family friendly. We found Casaurina to be a brilliant place to stay - the location is ideal (walking distance to everything in town), it was kid friendly and felt spacious enough for us all (nice to have 2 bathrooms). Majella is a perfect host; she couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying at Casaurina if you're visiting IOW. Not a criticism of the place, as we knew what we had booked (lower ground floor flat), but if we were coming during the summer months with our kids, we'd probably want somewhere with some outside space in order to be able to sit out in the evenings.
• Del (9/5): It was peaceful, comfortable and relaxing. - The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The view from outside was stunning. The host was very helpful and friendly although we only had telephone contact. A nice touch was the “welcome”wine plus a selection of basic necessities (coffee, tea, milk etc.). The apartment was also close to the centre of all the amenities we would need. The stairs down to the entrance were a little tricky to negotiate but that was due to my lack of mobility.

Well appointed apartment with comfortable beds and 2 bath/shower rooms Great range of appliances Excellent communication with the host and detailed directions and instructions. This is a small, personal thing but it would have been nice if maybe the bottom half the windows in the kitchen/lounge area were free of the privacy film so we could see the outside.
