Guest Reviews
- Jarret (10/5): - Such a beautiful location, it's down a dirt road 100 meters but very quiet. On top of the hill overlooking the valley.
I was the only one there but it was very peaceful. The wifi worked great and there was plenty of hot water.
I would definately stay there again. Nothing.

- Richard (10/5): - Nice, mature, quiet place with elevated view reaching all over town until the ocean. Only stayed for 1 night on a pass through, but next time I would certainly stay longer. It's also just about 10 min away from Tirta Gangga, with many types of restaurants nearby.
- Renan (10/5): -

- Benjamim (9/5): Really kindful staff - Excellent staff! They helped us with the motorbike rental, took care of our dinner order and gave us several recommendations.
The rooms was confortable and clean.
There is a big garden and the breakfast was good. The only thing that could be better is having an AC instead of a fan. The room was too hot and the fan had not much power to cool the room.
- Jayami (6/5): Pleasant - The staff is very kind and very flexible..
Nice quiet place ❤️
Value for the price
Big Garden and very nice place No toothbrush
Toilet is old and little bit dirty
- Mabel (9/5): Superb -
- Magnus (10/5): Hidden gem - find your inner peace here - A real hidden gem! This place is beautiful - not only the view, but also the garden is stunning. If I had to give it a name it would be "the mountain sanctuary". It felt very calm and is the ideal place if you're looking to disconnect from all the buzz Bali has to offer. It's also a small place, so you won't have many other guests. It's only 4 bungalows for now...
The staff is also exceptional. Michiyo, the Japanese owner, is very friendly and we enjoyed a nice conversation over a nice cup of tea upon my arrival. And the breakfast I had was also very nice...the staff is very attentive and adaptive to your needs.
I was at first worried about missing AC, but not to worry. It's surprisingly cool as it's up the hill and you have a constant breeze...I did not feel uncomfortable at all.
I will definitely come back in the future and urge you to check out this place. Even if it's only for a night...it's unique! It didn't bother me - but it's a remote location. There are a few good Warungs around and there's even a supermarket and fuel station not far away, you need a scooter however to get around comfortably. You won't find the buzz of Canggu or Kuta here. So if you're more the beach & party guy, this is definitely not for you!
- Lara (5/5): TG is beautiful but I like to be able to get around - The manager was great, helpful and offering his motorbike to take me into and pick me up to town. We were right up on the mountain and it was beautiful. He also arranged for food to be brought from the closest Warung (because it's not easy to get into town). Without a doubt though, TG is a magical place, and this place is right up in the hills .. incredible views. It was not possible to easily walk into Tirta Gangga. A 20 minute road walk was too dangerous, as was the sometimes slippery walk down through the rice fields .. not sure of the direction .. to get access to Warungs and to explore. I felt trapped and reliant on Nyoman to go anywhere.
- Simplydasha (10/5): A beautiful traditional guesthouse on the hill - The room is comfy, traditional and nice❤️ The hotel is on the hill, so the view is magnificent. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is yam Insects))) but I suppose when you are in Bali you can't really escape them
- Petra145 (9/5): Superb -
- Maria (8/5): Close to Lempuyang temple - Good location if you’re planning to visit Lempuyang temple. Staff very kind, including waiting for our arrival quite late and still offered us a cup of tea. Great view from the balcony. Good breakfast. Isolated area.
- Maximilian (6/5): Decent deal if you need a place for a few nights. - Staff is nice, was willing to help out with renting a motorbike from a nearby shop (They don't have any at hotel). The view from the terraces is good as well, if you plan to hang out there all day. Really bad wifi.
Rooms are cramped because of all the bulky, heavy furniture. There isn't a proper desk, and not much storage.
Shower hot water pressure is weak, and there are problems with drainage.
I would say this place is overpriced compared to similar villa-style hotels nearby. Location is about the same, not walkable to anything useful. You will need motorbike or private driver for everything.
- Jared (10/5): Amazing place - Incredibly friendly owner, family, staff. They seem to truly care about your stay being as pleasant as possible. Very clean. Beautiful view. We loved it.
- Dominika (10/5): The owners are amazingly kind and the place is just breathtaking! We love it and totally recommend it <3 -
- Hiroshi (10/5): Unforgettable. - The view from the garden is magnificent! You can see Lombok and Nusa Penida, ferries coming and going between Lembar and Padangbai.
The room was cozy and clean. I looked around some of the neighboring places to stay and believe that the bungalows here are of higher quality.
The staff were friendly. When my wife got injurred while taking a walk in the neighborhood, the owner and his wife took us to a hospital and arranged everything for us. They were so helpful.
The restaurant is currently closed, but we didn't feel any inconvenience because this hotel is tied up with the very popular warung nearby, Damar and order food from them and delivered. Or you can order special dinner at the hotel. The owner is also an excellent chef of Balinese dishes. I savored the best Ayam tutu here. I can't think of any.
