• Nathalie (9/5): Un petit bijou sur 3 étage en plein centre - L’emplacement est exceptionnel, l’appartement est grand sur plusieurs étages, et la terrasse un vrai plus !! Entrée indépendante facile à trouver et bonne communication avec une adaptation sur les horaires de départ et d’arrivée si possible. Les coussins de la chambre sont trop mous et devraient être changés et vraiment rien dans la cuisine (pas le minimum sel, huile, vinaigre, éponge, produit vaisselle) et même pas pour le petit déjeuner café, thé donc pour 1 nuit obligé de manger à l extérieur matin, midi et soir.

• Tizzie (9/5): Wonderful stay in a gorgeous apartment! - The location, two good size bedrooms abs the fabulous roof terrace. Stairs are very steep (although this was not a concern for us)

• Deborah (8/5): Great location, very comfortable. - Perfectly located, easy to get to from the train. Beautiful upper deck. It was fine but be warned that the stairs in the property are very steep, it’s over 3 levels.

I loved sitting on the roof terrace, being among all the houses of Vernazza and the view of the bay and the hills. Contact with the host was easy with quick response to any questions we had. Check-in and out was effortless. Lots of stairs, but completely expected in the heart of the Cinque Terre. We had all the home comforts we needed - would love to come back. There was nothing

• Sally (9/5): Close to amenities but really quiet, fabulous rooftop views - What a little gem of a property, full of character, the roof terrace was awesome. Lovely cool rooms, plenty of hot water for the shower, comfortable beds and really peaceful. Just what we needed after a day of walking. Close to all amenities. It wasn't a problem for us, but there are a lot of steep steps as the property is over 4 floors.

L'appartement n'est pas fonctionnel (3 niveaux) Manque d'équipements primaires ( absence de torchons de vaisselle, pas de café ni de sucre, cafetière italienne non adaptée pour un groupe de 4 personnes, absence de tapis de douche, TV d'une chambre non fonctionnelle, canapé non adaptée, présence d'humidité sur certains murs...) De plus, plusieurs avis dans le passé ont déjà été signalés et non pris en compte à ce jour par l'hôte.
• Samantha (9/5): Beautiful appartement with roof terrace in the centre of Vernazza - The location of the appartment is fantastic, in the centre of Vernazza. It was clean and had everything we needed. It was well stocked with toiletries and things like dishwasher tablets. Sitting on the roof terrace is particularly lovely. As other reviewers have said the are three, quite steep, marble stair cases in the appartement. This wasn't a problem for us and as all of the Cinque Terre villages are built into the side of mountains there are a lot of stairs everywhere. There isn't much soft seating in the living room (a two seater sofa and armchair). Having said that we sat either on the roof terrace, or played board games at the dining table, so didn't cause a big issue. Overall it's a beautiful place and I would go back.

Prendre le train pour y aller c est la meilleur solution appartement a 05 minutes de la gare Manque de papier WC. Pas de tapis de sortie de douche. Lave vaisselle. Pas de torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle. C est dommage mais important

• Emma (9/5): Parfait comme on l’espérais - L’emplacement est incroyable ! Vraiment à un pas de la gare et pleins de restaurants à proximité. L’appartement est propre, minimaliste mais juste ce qu’il faut. On a passé un très bon séjour. Deux chambres avec lits double parfait pour 4. Et la terrasse sur le toit est juste top avec une vue sur la mer Rien nous avons manqué de rien

• Vincent (4/5): Mooie lokatie, slechte hygiëne en niet functionerende faciliteiten. - De lokatie, midden in stadje, dicht bij de zee. Appartement was vies dus niet goed schoongemaakt. De vieze afwas stond nog in de wasmachine. Toilet spoelde niet door. Met een pan moest je doorspreken. Toen ik dat melde bleek het een bekend verhaal maar er werd niets aan gedaan, loze beloftes. Ook de vaatwasser deed het niet. Appartement is ook niet leuk ingericht, alles heel kaal. Host reageert slecht of niet op vragen.

• Sonia (10/5): Exceptional - The location is fantastic in Vernazza, just off the main street. A few steps to the front door but nothing like previous apartments I've stayed in in Vernazza. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Huge bedrooms, lovely kitchen dining area. It has steps up to each level but it's fine if you're fit and able. The steepest steps are to the terrace but there's something to hold onto on the wall as you descend. I don't think the photos do justice to the interiors. I was very pleasantly surprised by the apartment. No air conditioning but fans in the bedrooms. Keep the shutters closed to keep the apartment cool. It suited us perfectly.

• Jessica (10/5): Beautiful place in Vernazza! - Great location. Beautiful apartment. Clean and decorated very nice. Beautiful terrace up top. A fan was provided that made it very comfortable. Not a huge complaint, but there is only one mirror in the whole place. A little challenging for 4 people to get ready. I would have been more comfortable with extra pillows.
• Hebing (4/5): Invest in the facility to meet basic needs - Room is clean except toilet issue. Can't flush toilet. Doesn't have WiFi signal in bedrooms, which can be simply resolved by $50 WiFi extender. If you want to run as business, at least invest in the facility to meet basic needs.

• Nancy (10/5): We stayed for a very short period of time but if I ever came back to Cinque Terre I would definitely love to stay here. - Location is perfect, easy to find. Place is kept very clean, it’s beautiful and owner thinks of everything to accommodate her guess. Loved the building but the terrace was a plus. My husband and I sat there to see the sunset and drink our coffee.
• Sean (8/5): Overall. A great place to stay. Not super well equipped but good enough for a vacation. - Great location in the heart of the city. Very nice and well equipped. The rooftop terrace is lovely. If you're over 6' or if you have problems with stairs this is not the place for you. It's 3 stories of very steep and tight steps. No issues for a healthy active person but keep it in mind if you have issues with stairs. Could have supplied paper towels in the kitchen. A coffee maker would have been nice as well.
• Ian (9/5): A really special experience for our family to enjoy this picturesque fishing village for a few days. It is a special mem - The location was superb, neatness of the apartment, the terrace was a treat and kitchen was well stocked with all the necessary amenities. The stairs were very steep. This is common to Vernazza but is a caution to older folk.
• Vrablic (9/5): Superb - The stay was incredible. Vernazza is beautiful. We had a great time. No central ac but the fans helped. One bathroom for 4 was manageable.
• Mary (5/5): The apartment will not suit people with mobility issues, or young children. - Location near the station and in the heart of the town. The stairs were way too steep, narrow and dangerous. Property not suitable for elderly or children. We could not take our heavy luggage up stairs due to how steep the stairs were. This was the same problem to access kitchen and balcony. There was a table and 2 chairs outside but would not consider it a nice outdoor area. The stairs meant we could not enjoy the property. The train station has no lift, so if you have heavy luggage you have to take down stairs yourself.

• Marilyn (9/5): Vernazza was amazing place to visit. Carattino is in a great location. Easy to reach from train. - Apartment is very pretty. Clean and modern. Excellent location. Very easy to get around the town There weren't any mirrors. To say that it is ocean view is a stretch. We were told we could store our luggage at the store down stairs but weren't told there was a fee. We were charged around 37Euro for just a little over an hour while we went up the street to breakfast.
• Emma (5/5): Passable - Location was great! The dishwasher was broken, with dirty residual water sitting in the machine, stinking up the kitchen/second floor. Unfortunately no one came by to fix it during the stay, no dish towel or paper towel left to use to dry the dishes. The host also gave very brief and sudden notices. For example found out the dishwasher was broken the same time the host told (not asked) us that someone will come into the house the morning after the first night of stay, to collect linen for other apartments as the linen storage is in the apartment. Unfortunately the linen storage is across from the bedrooms… For the price paid for the facility, I thought it was very strange that host/housekeeping needed to have access to the apartment during our stay.
• Nataliia (5/5): The property is nice, but the management is horrible - Nice location in the center of Vernazza, the great terrace with a nice view (unfortunately it was raining and we could not enjoy it). That house is recently renovated. The communication with Debora was really not efficient. We could book 3 nights but as we never had the answer about the possibility of late check-in booked only 2. To get check-in details it took some days with calling to booking assistance etc. One day before the arrival date we still had not check in details. Though booking contacted Debora snd assured me that everything is ok and i will get the check-in details shortly, 10 hours later Debora told us that she did not send anything as our card was not visible to her and the booking can be cancelled.. It took some days. really?! And why she did not tell this to booking client service? Another issue the house was cold and humid, and Debora had no idea how to switch on the heating. Missing lamps and piles. Some equipment missing as well (kettler, grille-pan). In general the house is pleasant, just the communication with Debora was catastrophic, and no heating in rainy days in march it is also not terrible. No help with luggage keeping after early check-out (at 10).

• Latavinia (7/5): A great location providing the basic requirements for a good holiday in Cinque Terre - Great location with easy access to train station and a modern kitchen. The bedrooms were a good size and there was good shower pressure. Very dark rooms with extremely steep stairs over : levels which was unexpected. Very tight toilet/bathroom space for anyone over 6 foot.

• Bryn (10/5): Stunning terrace - Hidden Jem. - fantastic property with an absolutely stunning rooftop terrace. Terrace was completely breathtaking. Bedrooms were spacious and kitchen had gorgeous windows that overlooked Vernazza. Amenities were good, with plenty of room for four people. Very modern apartment. Family of 4 travelling with more than enough room for all of us. walking distance to train, restaurants, cafes. Felt like a hidden Jem in Vernazza.
