• Nathan (10/5): Perfect location, cosy modern apartment with great staff - We stayed at the property for the weekend for a wedding. The flat is perfect for a couple with a modern bathroom and bedroom, small kitchen and a balcony with a truly stunning view of the sea. The staff cleaned the apartment each day and were very helpful with any queries The location is fantastic and minutes from several good restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the main part of the town. Great value would really recommend

We had a room with a balcony on the sea - we heard the waves as we went to sleep, and the sea was the first thing we saw in the morning The room was perfect - equipment with everything we needed, even a camping burner for those who hike. We came for one night and extended our stay. Highly recommended

• moshonisia (10/5): great hotel and great atmosphere - in history and sea view. All the houses were stone houses and there was not a single ugly sight. The host was very friendly, and this hotel made me feel very special. I left with beautiful memories that I will never forget nothing

Kitchen more of a kitchenette. - Nice host who got us extra coffee pods and was very responsive, cute deck, comfortable bed and very clean with good walking proximity to the downtown area. the kitchen isnt very functional and more like a kitchenette so cooking an actual meal felt unreasonable

Albeit beyond a sea view! I’d stay again but would definitely request a first floor room ( with a side view) FYI or room was no. 2 - either side poor positions!

• Robert (9/5): There is nowhere else that I would prefer to stay in Kardamyli. - Its location, , the view from the room, proximity to a tiny beach or swim from the quay. It was clean and quiet and always something to watch from the balcony. If the balcony doors were closed the taverna below could not be heard regardless of the crowd below. There was no apparent reception. Our interaction with staff was virtually nonexistent until one evening when we returned to our room there was no light in the studio. A phone call to the manager was immediately effective with an electrician joining him within minutes and providing a temporary fix, completed next day (Sunday). We were most impressed that when necessary, service was there.
• Cindy (10/5): zorgeloos verblijf - We werden zeer goed onthaald door de host, die aan antwoord heeft op alle vragen. De kamer is heel net en voorzien van alle comfort. Hoewel de kamer boven een restaurant ligt, hadden we daar geen overlast van. Het gebouw waar de kamer zich bevindt, ligt aan een pier vanwaar je onmiddellijk toegang hebt tot de zee. In de nabije buurt zijn heel veel leuke restaurants en winkeltjes.

Insektenschutz an der Balkontür. Schöne Strände in der Nähe. Hellhörige Wände. Matratze eher weich für unseren Geschmack. Kein Parkplatz verfügbar, man muss an der Strasse parken - dort zum Glück immer Platz für unser kleines Auto gefunden.

• Elena (10/5): Ottima posizione - Camera molto pulita e nuova, ma il vero plus è la posizione davanti al mare (sia per una nuotata che per la vista dal balcone). Abbiamo sempre trovato parcheggio senza difficoltà nelle vicinanze. La colazione non è inclusa ma offrono caffè, fette biscottate e marmellata con la stanza.

Right above a restaurant so we could not sit at the balcony as we had a straight view towards the tables of the clients and no privacy. The hotel had a good location as it was right next to the beach and in the heart of the town

• Taylor (10/5): Beautiful waterfront property near the best restaurants in town - Marina Studios was perfect for our stay in Kardamyli! Right next to the best restaurants in town, a block from Main Street and about a 10 minute walk to old town, waterfront with a beautiful view if you have a sea view room. One of the best parts was the swimming spot right in front of the hotel (the cement platform in the photos). We swam there multiple times during our stay because of the convenience. And Harris was a very wonderful, friendly, and responsive host. I could not recommend this place enough! Nothing!

• Ira (9/5): Superb - The manager of the apartment was very friendly. We had nice conversations and whenever I needed something he helped. It was super clean, it looked like many things were brandnew and they cleant every day. Also thank you for this. The location is great, you have a beautiful view to the sea and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening. Down is a restaurant, so there was active life until around 23:30. For me no problem, as I expected it and it were just normal sounds of greek evening life..and I never travel without earplugs :-) I very much enjoyed to jump into the sea from the very small little beach just around the corner. Thank you for everything.

The whole look was horribly grey and nondescript, I bought a greek rug just for colour in the room. But worse, the room was actually over a restaurant and the noise kept me awake the first night.

• Rondi (9/5): Seaside Paradise - Very convenient to the center of town. Easy parking. Super clean and well appointed room. Refrigeratoe, sink, coffee pot and tea kettle, hot plate, basic cooking pots, dishes. Gorgeous view with a balcony to enjoy. Comfy bed. Best shower so far in Greece. They left a small tin of cookies, which we really enjoyed. Anyone smoking in the outdoor seating at the restaurant below drove us inside because all the smoke came right to us, but this is not really the lodgings fault. A club chair instead of a bench would have been nice. And the bedding was too small for the bed, so my husband and I fought over the covers.

The location was A+ with the pier right in front of the hotel, with wide steps and a ladder for swimming. There are beaches nearby but I preferred swimming here. Would definitely stay here again!

• Ortrun (9/5): Excellent rooms in the perfect location - This was at least my third stay at Marina (since 2019). The rooms have recently been refurbished to a very good standard: nice bathrooms, good storage everywhere, well-equipped kitchen (with a sink) to fix yourself breakfast or a cold snack, good awnings on the balcony and extremely helpful staff. I really enjoy staying here - especially for the beautiful views from the balconies. This is not at all the hotel's fault: during the second night of my 2-day stay this year (September 2024), there was extremely loud disco music blaring across the bay and the village from a hotel (Diaskori Suites) just north of Marina, where a private event was being held. This went on from about 10pm until 02.30am the following morning. Kardamyli seems to have turned into a noisy party venue. If this is the future in Kardamyli, many of its current clientele may not be returning for much longer.

• Cate (8/5): The perfect location to enjoy Kardamyli! - We loved our stay at Marina! Everyone was lovely and welcoming, and the location is just incredible. The balconies look over to the most gorgeous sea and there’s a little bay just outside the building to go for a swim. It’s also in the centre of the town and next door to lots of cafes and restaurants. We completely fell in love with the place and are already planning to come back. The rooms had a little kitchenette, and there’s a little table with chairs on the balcony, but this might not work so well if you are the type of person who likes to eat in while on holiday, we did end up just going to a restaurant every night. Some of the ground floor’s balconies open up to the terrace of the restaurant downstairs, so not a lot of privacy. These were not big problems for us, but just something to be aware of.

• Nicky (1/5): I wish I had chosen another place. - I booked in January for 28/5-1/6. I then added 27-28/5 therefore two separate bookings. I had a terrible room for the first night, I paid just over €100 per night, the balcony was exactly by the smoking area of the area where the staff of the restaurant sit talk smoke etc. I was under the impression my booking for the following four days was upstairs where the better rooms are, I asked to be moved after the first day the again when I was told by the staff member there were spaces but the man said he rang booking.com and they said rooms cannot be changed. This is not true. As a solo traveller I pay the same as two travellers but some places like Marina treat you very badly. I have been coming to Kardamyli for years and this is the worst place i have stayed for general feeling.

• Zinovia (10/5): Exceptional - Words fail me really!! This wonderful block of appartments run by lovely Mrs Maria is in deed a magnificent place to stay in Kardamili. The views were spectacular, the room was spacious, with a lot of amenities available and spotlessly clean. Price was reasonable too!!! I would definately go back! There was nothing not to like!!
