• marie (10/5): Great stay in the heart of Naples - Emanuela was very friendly and welcoming and the room was great. Comfy bed, air con and good shower, and a black out blind on the window made for a comfortable sleep. The location is fab, about 15 minute walk to Centro historico, which means you have a nice walk after your lovely pizza or pasta! We found a great historical bar nearby, Don Mimi, and enjoyed some local wines. It was lovely to lie with the ceiling window open and listen to the city. If we were tall people the ceilings would have been a challenge! Would have liked some drawers in the room, but that is a small thing. Would stay again!

• Miriam (9/5): Comfy bed, friendly host, beautifully decorated. - Comfy bed, friendly host, beautifully decorated. The lovely host even put together a local guide with recommendations, and was responsive at all times. The bed was comfy and the air conditioning was great. The bathroom was beautifully decorated, had all the necessary amenities including shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, etc. There was tea and coffee in the rooms and a very cute note was left for us upon arrival. Although tap water cannot be drank in this building, they kindly left us fresh water both in a glass bottle and in the mini fridge for free, which was appreciated. Getting in/out of the apartment requires getting into a building, taking a very old lift to 4th floor then 1 floor by foot to 5th floor. Other rooms are very close and sound insulation isn't perfect so could hear other people sometimes (also fireworks in the middle of the night, which of course is not the property's fault), bust mostly this wasn't an issue. The area is very chaotic as it is close to Naples central station which means it can be scary to get back at night or even to cross the road in the daytime, but of course, this comes with the huge advantage of being close to the station! We both had several insect stings whilst staying in Naples but we don't know if this was while we slept at the property or when we were out and about - either way, DEET (Autan in Italy) is recommended!

Unser Studio/ Appartement war sehr schön, sauber, komfortabel und war für uns eine hervorragende Homebase für unseren 10-tägigen Aufenthalt in und rund um Napoli. Emanuela ist sehr freundlich, stets hilfsbereit und legt großen Wert darauf, den Standard des Appartements qualitativ hoch zu halten. Sie hat auf Wunsch auf gerne den Transport von Flughafen zur Unterkunft und am Ende auch wieder zurück organisiert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder Lo Volcano wählen.

• Agustin (10/5): Amazing place to enjoy Naples - Emanuela was an amazing host! She arranged our transfer from the airport to the hotel and even waited for us late at night to welcome us. She gave us outstanding tips to make the most of our time in Naples. She also kindly allowed us to check out later than usual, which was a huge help since our flight was in the evening. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Beautifully decorated and has all the amenities such as fridge, extension leads, massive bathroom, bottled water, and a lovely welcome sweet treat! Emanuela was a fantastic host who welcomed us at check in and helped with luggage storage on our first and last day before and after check in. This was a great help and much appreciated as we were not flying until night and wanted to make the most of our last day without dragging our bags around!

• Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - It was suitable for one night if heading to airport. The room was very small and had to bend down to not hit head . This did not look like the photos at all. The room was loud, can hear all street noise due to location. The lift does not go all the way up so you have to take the stairs with luggage, not suitable for suitcases or elderly. Location is close to airport but would not stay here again for any other reason.

• Ao (7/5): Good - lovely little attic floor flat. Clean and colorful. The host was fantastic and very attentive. Location close to train station. Bathroom was super. There is a lift till the 4th floor after that one floor is a walk up so difficult with luggage. The room had low ceiling so not good for tall people. Room could use more side tables. Location is in a bit of a rough looking area.

Our experience was one to remember, building is in a great location, very very clean and nicely decorated and Emanuela was the most caring and helpful host one wishes to find.

Coffee and tea were available for free and we even had typical cookies as a welcome gift from our host Emanuela who could not be more helpful and nice! LoVolcano is in a walking distance from the train station and metro stop making it easy to move around the city as well as to travel outside Naples. Definitely a place to stay! Nothing to dislike
• Bruno (10/5): Pleasant stay in an apartment with character. - I was impressed by the good communication with the host Emanuela before and during the stay. Also, the room ("Stromboli") was thoughtfully arranged to the theme of vulcanoes and had also free coffee/tea for breakfast. The room was cozy and quiet and all was very clean. Will come back if possible!
